hello monday {fresh picked oranges}

May 7th | hello monday

Hello monday! the weather is supposed to be beautiful this week–and it’s making me long for summer! We have a thriving orange tree in our backyard {despite our lack of attention to it} and we are enjoying going back there to pick fruit every few days. Here are some hellos for a brand new week.

Hello healthy and happy David. You weren’t yourself last week–so glad you feel good again!

Hello photo shoot. We have some fun things to share with you in the next couple weeks.

Hello folding laundry. And maybe hello putting it away as well?

Hello date night this week. We are double dating with some friends–can’t wait!

Hello wishing Steve and I could sneak away for an overnighter. Hmmm…must plan that.

Hello Avengers. We saw the movie over the weekend and loved it! Now we are re-watching all the individual superhero movies {Ironman, Captain America, Thor–if you have boys, you know what I’m talking about!}

Hello needing new ideas to keep David busy–that kid has too much energy {seriously, give me ideas!!}

Hello planning summer activities for Matthias. Zoo camp–yes!

Hello late-start Monday. I love that the boys don’t start school until 9:25 on Mondays.

Hello busy busy workshop!

Hello last day to order for mother’s day! Hop over to the shop and get your order in!

Hello Monday! It’s going to be a busy, sunny, fabulous week! What are you saying hello to? Link up your own ‘hello monday’ post in the comments section or leave a comment with some hellos for us!

    My busy boy loves to play at his water table! And with it being a warmer week maybe it will be something your son will enjoy. He also enjoys our rice table, I hide little toys in it or puzzle pieces for him to find. Hello keeping busy hands…busy!!

    Happy Monday. Sounds like you have a fun week ahead. My little ones are always calmer when they get daily dirt time. I don’t know if it’s the vitamin D from the sunshine or if working with their hands in the dirt is theraputic. Hmmm…maybe I need to join in more.

  13. Becky says:

    My boys are SO busy to…it is quite the challenge. You’re not alone! We have a play tent ($20 at BB&B) that came with a tunnel. Someitmes just letting them crawl in and out and play with their regular toys inside their “dragon cave” adds a new dimension and helps them play better/longer.

    Would love to see a post on keeping little busy boys engaged/entertained in easy, low-cost ways if you get some other good ideas! (My boys are almost 2 and 3)

  14. The oranges look so good! I also have fresh fruits and vegetables in my Hello Monday Post! Royal Daughter Designs: Hello Monday

  15. Pam says:

    Enjoy the week. The oranges look yummy! I’m on week 2 of a new “diet”, so far so good.

  16. Beautiful bright oranges!

    Linking up with you here~

  17. Emilee says:

    Those oranges do look delicious! For sweet David, how about painting with pudding or shaving cream? My little guy loves when I take a serving tray and put a pile of shaving cream on it for him to draw and smoosh and create. :)

  18. Hello to you as well! We’re saying hello to a fun yard sale score from the weekend and a baby shower this evening:

  19. Kelli says:

    Love the orange and turquoise lisa!

    This week I am saying hello to a rain-free forecast (!!), biking to work, and my older daughter’s 7th birthday. This week, it’s going to be all about her!
