big deal with being twin sisters {birthday celebration party}

Last weekend I got away with my twin sis, and my two younger sisters who are also twin for a sister weekend. All of our birthdays are in August and we’ve had this tradition since college.

How insane is that?!

We rented a luxury cabin {kind of like a tiny house} from Flying Flags resort in Buellton. It was adorable! We ate so much good food and talked and talked and laughed and cried and talk some more. I brought matching pajama bottoms for all of us because we’re nerdy like that! It was some much needed time away to rest and have fun. And of course I have lots of pics to share with you! At the end of the post I have links for our favorite spots in Buellton, Santa Ynez and Los Olivos.

  1. Beautiful ladies with beautiful curls. Please share your secret in styling those gorgeous curly dos. Thank you!

  2. Wow! I really miss these places you visited. My Hubby and I would celebrate our Anniversary there-it was tradition. I think we need to bring that tradition back.

  3. Hi Lisa – just found your website and ordered a bracelet for a friend of mine that is pregnant with momo twins (her 6th & 7th children). I am a twin as well with two older sisters (not twins). I have been so touched by your blog and jewelry. My husband had a traumatic brain injury 8 years ago and has had several more brain traumas since, including grand mal seizures. I know ( I KNOW) what it means to walk through sadness, grief to be able to get to know joy in suffering. God is a faithful God who walks with us every step and makes brokeness into beautiful lives that are a sweet fragrance and blessing to Him. Thank you so much for sharing your life and all that He has given you to inspire me, and I’m sure many, many others! God bless you!

  4. What a fun weekend. You are all adorable with that gorgeous curly hair! In the photo of the feet, where can I get me some sandals like the ones on the bottom left with the pink toenails? I love those.
