what i wore wednesday

it’s wednesday and i’m linking up with lindsey at the pleated poppy for some fashion inspiration!

this is an outfit i wore a couple days ago–to the workshop and our open house that evening. it was perfect for a long day where i needed to be put together and also comfortable.

sweater and tights, both target. skirt, anthropologie. booties, kohls. necklace, allora handmade. bracelet, my shop.

we made a quick trip to southern california to see family for thanksgiving–then it’s back to the workshop because we are busy busy! my mouth is already watering for sweet potatoes and cinnamon apples. what’s your favorite thanksgiving food?

  1. I love all of the outfits you put together and they always look great on you.

Please please will you share with me the paint color of the beautiful blue table in the pic? Thanks, April

Oh- Sweet Potato Casserole is the best!! I have so many faves, though… pumpkin pie, cornbread dressing with turkey gravy, green beans with crispy onions on top… yum. My daughter found a little note to self that I made and she liked it. It was a list of things to get for our thanksgiving meal… Towards the end it said “sweet pot cass” She loved that. She put it on the fridge. Made me smile. because preteens usually don’t love things their mama’s do. 😉

  2. Lisa, you look fabulous as always!

My favorite Thanksgiving food is probably my mom’s divine mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.

    xo

  3. Day of fun, you look like you are having such a good time in life. It is very cool that you found an autumn outfit that is as warm as you. Now if I could just find those shoes in a size 11…

  5. Take me to Anthro with you!!!

I love, love, love sweet potato casserole. I will never tell a soul how many sticks of butter are in it.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. Hi Lisa,

I love the skirt but it doesn’t suit you right as you have a short body with quite full chest (just like me) We look better with low waist trousers/skirts and the shirt/upper side clothes never inside the trousers/skirt but loose. Hope you don’t mind I write you this, which is only my humble opinion.

Love your blog and cute boys!

  7. That plum color looks great on you! My favorite Thanksgiving food is probably the pumpkin pie.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.
