  1. Your jewelry is beautiful! I love it! The best bit of wisdom I ever got was β€œsomeday someone is going to walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else”. It was and still is a really encouraging statement for me. I completely believe in it!

  2. Oh my gosh!… I ADORE this necklace! My daughter is a Chi O and the owl is their mascot. I would just love to be the mom who showed up at a parent function wearing this precious necklace! As far as wisdom… how about…”We can’t all be stars, but we can at least twinkle!” Thanks so very much for the chance to win this wonderful necklace!

  3. Lisa, my sister in law (Michele Bedsaul) and I ordered a necklace (the mixed charm one…can’t think of the name) for Christmas and it truly stopped my heart when I opened the package. This necklace totally looks so much like my friend Julie so I’ve called her husband to have him check it out! πŸ˜‰ I love it too, but then again what of yours do I NOT love? πŸ˜‰

  4. my wisdom…..i don’t have much πŸ™‚ but around here we try to love God first, love each other madly second, and the kids follow in tow! We really try to focus on each other and let the kids see that and hopefully they will catch it! πŸ™‚ <3

  5. wisdom? happy mom=happy kids. realize you can’t do it all and that your whole family will be happier if you don’t make yourself crazy trying to be perfect. i tell myself this EVERYDAY…and try to live it! ADORABLE necklace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoot hoot!

  6. I just ordered this for a friend’s birthday and I have to admit it was a hard gift to give b/c I wanted one for myself.
It is baseball season in Texas and here is my words of wisdom – No matter how badly you want to help, do not join a board of a sporting group (I hope that doesn’t sound too bitter). Stay a parent and enjoy watching your child(ren) learn how to play a sport and be a teammate.

  7. I just love your pieces. I think they are just beautiful and hope to win or get one for mothers day and i love this owl piece. My daughter Arden loves the word owl she not only says it but giggles everytime we say it so this piece has a special meaning for me too.

  8. wow! beautiful necklace and pendant!! i love it…
i’ve learned to enjoy each and everyday, whether you hit the lows or the highs, know tomorrow will be another day, another adventure awaits. comes from having a 2 & 3 yr old… =)

    hugs
    juli

  9. I think the wise and whimsical owl is saying Cindy really needs this necklace!!! I love it, it is soo cute. My oldest son Tristan loves, loves, loves owls! So the owl says pick me!!!

  10. LOVE LOVE LOVE that new line!!! how cute is it???!!! you’re so talented my friend!!

words of wisdom?? hmmm…my favorite to live by is “live each day as though it is your last”.

  11. Oh, am I just in time to enter? I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed for being one of the lucky few to win this awesome piece of art! I like this Goethe quote: “Magic is to believe in yourself. If you can do that, you can make anything happen.”

  12. Your jewelry is beautiful! I love it!
The best bit of wisdom I ever got was β€œsomeday someone is going to walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else”
it was and still is a really encouraging statement for me. I completely believe in it!

  13. His mercies are new every morning. A very nice blessing since I mess up plenty each day. A very generous giveaway indeed. Hoping you have a lovely weekend.

  14. This cool owl design is my favorite so far! When my son (now 5) was a baby, owls were his favorite animal and he has a whole collection of them. He used to sit on my lap at the computer and watch barn owl videos. Now I take him to the nature center to see the screech owl, Oskar, in person.

  15. Wisdom? Do the little things in life well and with great love.
What a sweet necklace design. Thanks for the fun giveaway. πŸ™‚

  16. Whoooo are you? I am in awe of all of your inspirations! I swear, sometimes I wonder if you’re my friend from another life. My son John LOVES owls. His favorite baby is a “webkinz” owl named Hooty. I think the best piece of wisdom I can give is LOVE. Love, love, love, and when you think you can’t possibly give a little more love, LOVE some more. Love grocery shopping (because, so many don’t have the luxury), Love CHILDREN, because so many (CRAZY) people don’t, Love LIFE, because it’s so fleeting. Wisdom, is learning, and if you stop, I think one, may stop living. Thank you, Lisa, for your Love, thank you for your Honesty, Thank you.
    Love,
    Jess

  17. My piece of wisdom is to remember that there is always something good in your life. You just need to remember to see it. πŸ™‚

  18. Just added a shout-out to your sweet new creation on Facebook! Today’s wisdom: Follow Lisa’s blog and buy her beautiful jewelry!! πŸ™‚

  19. My grandma collected owls. I miss her. I want to win this necklace badly!!!! Please, please, please. Whoooooooooo will win? Hopefully, me.

  20. Ohhh, owls!!! Love, love, love!!

One of my favorite bits of wisdom is from the amazing Maya Angelou who said,”If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love. Don’t be surly at home, then got out in the street and start grinning ‘Good morning’ at total strangers.”

    Yeah, I’m guilty of this one . . .

  21. i love my kidlets! i love my husband! i love to have them wrapped around me all day by wearing one of your necklaces. and i have a love for owls! how sweet!

  22. This will be on my wishlist for Mother’s Day!

One bit of advice my dad gave me – spend time with your children; listen to them, talk with them, hug them and just be with them. The time we take and the foundations we build now will last a lifetime.

  23. I love this necklace in particular! My mom passed away very suddenly, and when she gave me advice, she always told me that I should listen to the “Wise Old Owl.” I have to tell you, she wasn’t old, but she was very wise. Since her passing, I see owls everywhere, a reminder that she is with me still. I’d love a chance to win this necklace to keep Mom close to my heart.

  24. BE PRESENT AND MINDFUL OF WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! I TELL MYSELF THIS EVERYDAY AND IT REMINDS ME TO BE THANKFUL FOR MY LIFE AND BLESSINGS “RIGHT NOW” AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE.

  25. “Life is uncertain, love completely…”
I think it’s obvious that you love completely, it’s written all over this page, all over your face, and all over the face of your beautiful children.

  26. I love this. It reminds me of my great grandmother. She use to live on an Indian reservation and was so “one with nature” She just loved owls..I miss her.

  27. “Always wear clean underwear in case you’re ever in a car accident”. I can guess what that means, although, if I’m ever in a car accident, I probably wouldn’t care if my undies were dirty. You are a creative genius, love your blog, love your designs and love your inspiring words.

  28. whoo do i love? brilliant creative artists like you!! i am a better person when i see and am energized by other artists work. i also love my cats and my husband, they of course also make my life worth living!

  29. oh my goodness! your products are absolutely adorable. i love seeing the new items you create~
my wisdom….learning to let little things ‘go’…..as in dont sweat the small stuff. life is too short to spend hours over things that in a day or two will not really matter anyway!

  30. my ‘wisdom’ would be to purposely smile at each child every day. (it wouldn’t hurt to smile at your spouse every day, too!) the rewards are infinite and it’s amazing the difference it makes! gorgeous stuff, lisa!

  31. This is oh so cute – thanks for the giveaway!
I saw at least one other person mentioned my wisdom – “each day is a gift, that’s why it is called the present!” πŸ˜€

  32. Mama Owl’s wisdom I wish I possessed — how to turn one’s head all the way around to keep an eye on the sweet little owlets!

  33. I love this, and I love the symbolism of the owl.

    My bit of wisdom:
Wisdom comes with experience. Never be afraid to have an experience or an adventure.

  34. Your new piece is so lovely.
My piece of wisdom: Remember to cherish your family everyday! : )
Blessings to you & your family.
    Susan : )

  35. My wise owl advice; each day is fresh and new with no mistakes.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to win. I absolutely adore your necklaces I wish I could buy one for everyone I know (maybe in time as it’s quite hard to resist!)

  36. words of wisdom?

    lather, rinse, repeat.

it works not only for shampoo, but in a lot of other aspects of like too.

    i love your jewelry!

    great giveaway, great hostess!

  37. Words of wisdom? I’m sitting here holding my sleeping infant son and thinking that the wisest words I’ve heard (and that mommas of young children can get tired of hearing) is to enjoy these times because they’ll soon be gone. When I can’t get any work done because I don’t have two (or one) hands free or when my three year old doesn’t want me to leave her at night and asks for just one more cuddle when I want to rush off for me time, I try to remember how much I’ll look back on this and wish for one more nap in my arms or cuddle at bedtime.

  38. I love the owl… and your whole collection for that matter! I have a thing for owls these days.:)
    My wisdom:
    Talk about the fun things.
The favorite part of my daughter’s day is when we lie in bed at night and talk about all the fun things we did that day and all the fun things we will do the next day. Oh how easily she will forget to brush her teeth, but never forget to talk about the fun things. πŸ™‚

  39. Very very cute necklace! I’ve been following your blog for a while and I’m always amazed at your originality!
As for a good piece of wisdom, here’s my favorite: “I’ll think about it tomorrow” from Gone with the Wind!

  40. My words of wisdom?

    Live with intention.

It’s something I’ve been trying to do for a while now and I have to keep reminding myself regularly.

    badgermomma at gmail dot com

  41. When given the chance to write in a brides book during a reception, I always leave this advice:

Remember the moment when you held hands and said “I do?” Remember how happy your partner made you? Whenever you are standing by your spouse, wherever, whenever, hold hands. It will remind you of this day and how happy they made your feel.

  42. I LOVE the necklace. You’re designs are so whimsical. It’s a good reminder to not take everything so seriously and just chill out and relax a bit. Sometimes, the stuff we get all worked up about just doesn’t matter in the end. Hey, I guess that’s my “wisdom from the owl” πŸ™‚ The other thing that I try to remember is from the book ‘The Happiness Project’. The author (also a mom) reminds herself that “the days are long, but the years are short”. This is so true. Before I know it, I am going to be old and gray wishing for just one more day of changing diapers, drooly open mouth baby kisses, playing Operation and reading bedtime stories. Even on the craziest of days, I try to remember that these ARE the days I have been waiting for all my life and THESE are the ones I will miss once they’re gone.

  43. Wisdom…God has it all…I just need more of Him. I am going through the biggest faith walk right now and He is such a faithful husband! Allllllll I need. I absoulutely love your jewelry! Hopefully when I am able I can pick out a piece. Best wishes to all!
    Blessings!

  44. What a gorgeous creation! Hmmm…. wisdom. Right now I’m being reminded to think less and pray more. πŸ™‚ Have a good day – love your beach pictures!

  45. OO woow!! Soo wonderful necklace and the owls are just soo cute!! woow!! Really love it!!!
Unfortunatley I don’t know something wise, I’m still learning in school and there nothing wise is told. It’s just more things I never need later “in real life” πŸ˜‰
Thank you so much for the chance to win!!
Have a great rest of week!!

  46. My piece of advise is: Don’t sweat the small stuff!
I always say “I’m too blessed to be stressed!”

    I love your jewelry!

  47. I have a bracelet that I absolutely love. It was a gift when about 7 months pregnant with our second son and seeing all our names together made it so real. Now that I’m back at work and the baby is almost 3 months old, I feel like looking at our 4 names together there grounds me. My wisdom is to try to remember that work is a job, not your life, your life is at home. So when work is rough, it’s not the thing that matters, it’s okay.

    I’d love a new piece!

  48. I love your Jewelry! I keep hinting to my husband that your website is bookmarked as one of my favorites and that one of the necklaces would make a great gift! πŸ™‚ For Wisdom – just two words – Peace and Love!

  49. I would love to win.

My mother always says, ” Drinking enough water and getting enough sleep will drastically change your life.”

I’m not sure if she’s right…but now I quote her!

  50. Love the giveaway and love your jewerly!

Piece of wisdom… always let the kids lick the batter when you are baking something sweet! The looks on their faces are priceless!!

  51. So glad your email came out today… Been wanting to get on your great site and order. Love the WHOO do you LOve necklace. So charming.

  52. Hi!! I just found your blog from A beach cottage….I love your jewelry…I think your pieces are the kind I would really wear..not just store in my jewelry box!! I would love to be entered into your contest!! Thank you so much!!

  53. Have had your site on my favorite list for several months. It will be a great gift for my daughter-in-law who is about to have our second baby in the family this April. When browsing one night, I began to read your blog. You are an amazing woman and artist. Love your photographs. That has inspired me to pick up my camera again. Thanks so much. Your new piece is as lovely as all of your others.
My words of wisdom that I truly practice each day is……..”nice matters”

  54. Ooh, this is just darling! I don’t know if I would ever be called as wise as an owl but, I do know that one of the wisest things I can ever do is just stop everything and really (I mean really) listen to my wee girls. Just being there “in the moment” with them means the world to them and me too! Thanks for your inspiring work!

  55. One time about about 25 years ago I had over 100 owl things displayed in my house–counted by a friends little boy. πŸ™‚ I rarely buy them now, but I could make an exception with your beautiful necklace. “Be ye kind one to another”

  56. Oh,now this is JUST too cute! I’m watching the mailbox everyday for my friendship flowers necklace to come..can’t wait! WOrds of wisdom? I’ve had these under a magnet on my fridge for almost 8 years…”Too much advice alienates us from our instincts and common sense. Your child in a live-in parenting expert who shows you every day te effects of what you are doing.” RObert Shaw

I clipped them out of a parenting magaziine when I was a brand new mom struggling with unwanted advice from everyone. I learned to trust my instincts and to take each bit of advice offered for what it was…an offer to help.

  57. Love the owl necklace! Children grow up so fast, enjoy each and every moment…. always
    tried to do that! πŸ™‚

  58. love owls….they are just so fun and make me happy! something i have learned lately is that we are given trials to help make us better people. sometimes we don’t know why we have to go through certain trials, but they are to help us and there is a God who really does know and understand and loves us. He also always knows what is best! I recently lost my baby…I was 31 weeks pregnant and at the time it was really hard, but now, I can see how blessed I am and am so happy that I have a great family and can still have children.

  59. My advice would be to love God with all your heart and love for those around you will be in abundant supply!! I love your designs!!

  60. SPLASH God’s love on all who are around you. You never know..but you may be the only Jesus someone ever sees.

  61. I adore all your work! I think for Father’s day I need to get one of your bracelets for my husband. My words of wisdom is especially for new moms. It is to not worry so much about the house being perfect because things pass away but your kids will remember if you were able to drop doing things and spend time with them! And they will know they are loved.

  62. my go to scripture…….

faith is the confidence that what we HOPE for will actually happen. It give assurance about things we cannot see” herbrews 11:1

    xoxoxox

    Susan

  63. oh, that is the cutest! and you even have great friends, like lindsey to model them! (thanks for introducing her way back, too!) anyways…..
wise owl says…..”keep those WHOO you love close and never let them go!”
    love it!

  64. Adorable!! I love the scale of the necklace. It’s perfect! “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see!”

  65. Owls are my *favorite*! Here’s my bit of wisdom about having children: “The days are long, but the years are short.”

  66. Cute Necklace!!! Going through invitro right now, maybe in about 10 months I will have a baby name to add to it!!!

“Every difficulty is a test, a test to see whether you believe God. A trial to drive you into His arms and promises where you find him all-sufficient.” – Kay Arthur

  67. Hi Lisa! Your blog is actually the first blog I had ever seen until I started blogging in January of this year (2010). I must say that your thoughts & photos are beautiful.
I absolutely love to blog and to admire other womens blogs too.
Your jewellery is so special and simply beautiful..I think thats why I like it so much. πŸ™‚
I guess my words of wisdom would be
“Just be yourself….because thats simply beautiful”.

    In His love & friendship,
    Deborah <3

  68. So pretty! A small bit of wisdom: Cherish the moments when your children are small. They grow up much too quickly!

  69. Stunning. I’m always in awe of true talent in creating things… awe and a wee bit envious!

Wisdom: time does not heal all wounds. what you do with that time determines if the wounds heal.

    Nell

  70. I was sent here by a friend “who” knows how much I love owls. The necklace is so sweet. A word of wisdom from the owl? Hmm, let’s see……how about this one?

β€œA wise old owl sat on an oak; The more he saw the less he spoke; The less he spoke the more he heard; Why aren’t we like that wise old bird?” (from the thinkexist website)……

  71. My bit of wisdom is from Natalie Grant:
“On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand…I will not be moved!”

What pretty pieces…something I could put all 4 of my boys names on!

  72. My bit of wisdom isn’t from an owl, but a crow (Sheryl Crow to be exact πŸ™‚ ) Hope that’s o.k.:
“It’s not having what you want
    It’s wanting what you’ve got…”
I remind myself of that alot…
    Blessings, Patti

  73. I would love to win!
    Bit of wisdom:
And these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these is love.

  74. Sooo adorable-i just wish you could insert 26 letters!!! My little girls have long names-it’s a shame I can’t put in an order…..:(

  75. My favorite piece of wisdom is to release yourself from feeling guilty. We all do the best we can, and no one can expect anything more, so why feel guilty about it? πŸ™‚

  76. I LOVE the necklace and your jewelry!
“I do not pray for success, I ask for faithfulness.” Mother Teresa

  77. Beautiful!!!! My wisdom- there is always, always, always something to be thankful for. I have that sign hanging in my kitchen to remind me everyday.

    Thanks!!!!

  78. Love your artistic eye!
Word of wisdom I follow – To the world you might be just one person, but to one person you just might be the world.

  79. The only thing that can’t be taken away from man is his attitude and his ability to choose how he views situations.

Love the owl! So cute and whimsical!

  80. so sweet! your ideas are endless. my wisdom for the day is to listen to your parents. i have really found this to be true since having children of my own. their experience is priceless!

  81. AMAZING! I have been looking for something like this and this is so unique! My bit of wisdom, is to enjoy every minute of every day. Blessings are all around!

  82. Owls! My sister is doing her nursery with owls. I LOVE this, and can’t wait to get her one!

My advice. Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

  83. What a sweet necklace. My wisdom is limited…i’m still learning. How about “always speak to someone the way you would like to be spoken to.” It’s amazing how we can speak to those we love when we are hurt or angry…take a deep breath and remember how much you love them before you get the chance to hurt them.

  84. Beautiful, whimsical and inspired!! I believe the wise owl would be saying, “be still and watch the beauty going on around you”. I’m trying daily to do just that with my 3 fantastic boys and homeschooling and life. Thanks for the inspiration Lisa!!

  85. This is too cute!! Words of wisdom that I need to start living – Fear is not of God. It is paralyzing and you lose wonderful life moments when you give in to fear. I want to live fear-free!!

  86. Adorable necklace! Wisdom for moms: The work will wait while you show the children the rainbow. But the rainbow won’t wait while you finish your work.

  87. I love this necklace! The owl is so sweet! My bit of wisdom is: if you’re going to tell your 3 year old that the TV remote is lost to get a (much needed) break from the tv, you’d better hid it REALLY well so she can’t find it. πŸ˜‰

  88. My bit of wisdom is one that I got from a dear Mennonite friend of mine. She say s that more is caught than taught which helps to remind me how craeful we need to be in what we do and say. I love this necklace!

  89. Just read something that has stayed with me: “The days are long and the years are short.” So. darn. true.

  90. Todays worst moment may well become tomorrows funniest anecdote.
(That helped me through the early years of child rearing)
    That owl is so cute!

  91. Terrific necklace, Lisa! I love the owl. He looks very wise, yet very playful. No wonder kids like him. Please enter me in your drawing. I would love, love, love to wear this necklace!

There are so many great “words of wisdom” and thoughts to live by. Here are some that are especially meaningful to me right now. Live joyfully—contentment is not getting what you want, but wanting what you already have—each day is a gift. And my all-time favorite from Romans 8:28, “all things work together for good…”

  92. WOW!!!! I mean I hate to beg, but I really MUST have this beautiful necklace! I love the owl sooo much!! Love it, Love it, Love it! And with my kids names on it is just icing on the cake.
Words of wisdom my mother always tells me, “this too shall pass.” Whatever tough thing I am going through, or stage of life that is trying, (new babies waking in the night, teething, job problems) my mom always reminds me that soon it will pass and to stop and enjoy whatever I can at this stage in my life. To be content. Not always an easy thing to do.
Love your blog Lisa, it’s always such an encouragement.
    Blessings

  93. Love it! Wisdom – make sure your day is full of lots of hugs and sweet kisses, especially when your 2.e yo is in that stage, it makes it all worthwhile! Oh and some music and a glass of wine doesn’t hurt either!

  94. Gorgeous ! I don’t own but one necklace which is a plain braided white gold necklace. My son’s 7th birthday is coming up and it would be a wonderful way to commerorate (sp?) his birthday ! πŸ™‚ Doesn’t every mommy deserve a gift – they were there on thta birth day doing a LOT of work πŸ˜‰

  95. Oh my gosh I love everything! I want one of each. πŸ˜‰ I stumbled across your website from a post you left on my friends Erin’s website and I’m so glad I did. You are incredibly talented.
My wisdom – Say something nice to one person everyday. Spread kindness one person at a time. πŸ™‚

  96. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” ~ Proverbs 1:7

  97. beautiful!!
my wisdom is: if in doubt – love. it is a quote that I love and try to say to myself whenever I am having a difficult day.
    πŸ™‚

  98. Oh my, your work is just gorgeous! And your blog?? One of the very prettiest I have ever seen. I literally gasped the first time I saw it. Web & Blog design hold a fascination for me, and yours is just lovely.

My words of inspiration have been the same since I was a teenager:
“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

  99. Oh my goodness- this necklace is PRECIOUS!! You’re creativity blows me away- I love your work and am inspired by your blog.
    Wisdom: Just Breathe…

  100. Your jewelry is beautiful! I love it!
The best bit of wisdom I ever got was “someday someone is going to walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else”
it was and still is a really encouraging statement for me. I completely believe in it!

  101. A couple of wise words I have always loved…

“Be the change You want to see in the world…” Mahatma Gandhi
“This above all… to thine own self be true…” Shakespeare

Your little owl is truly gorgeous. I love it!

  102. i am determined to win one of your lovely necklaces! wise wisdom…. if we don’t put effort into creating what we want, we have to put effort into coping with what we get.

  103. i would love to win this necklace as a reminder of my sweet babies in heaven.
one bit of wisdom from the wise and whimsical owl (for all mommies who had to say goodbye to their little ones much too soon) – the moment you become a mommy, you stay a mommy forever.

  104. “If you change the way you look at things,
the things you look at change.”
I am lucky enough to have a “special” little boy whooo gives me a whole new wa to see the world.
    Also I love….
    “Dear Lord,
Give me the strength to endure my blessings.”
I have this over my mirror in my bedroom. It reminds me daily that it might be hard BUT it is a blessing.
    BIG HUGS!!!!!
    Julie

  105. Lovin the owl!! My wisdom for you is to enjoy every day with your boys while they are young! My first “baby” just turned 13 and is taller/bigger than me now- Time flies by way too quickly!!

  106. Absolutely adore the new necklace…I attended a college whose mascot in an owl and I collect them. All the wisdom I know is that how you spend your time is how you spend your life.

  107. Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try.
    Dr. Seuss

  108. Whoo knew how sweet a little owl could be? So lovely. Really hope I win!

Wisdom for today: “Who by worrying can add a single hour to the day?”

  109. I was given some wise advice from parents who had their first child exactly 3 months before we had ours…. “Don’t ever say you can’t wait until your baby can do ____! Soon enough s/he will, and you’ll have missed what came in the meantime!”

  110. Lets see the best bit of wisdom I can tell you is that Jesus loves me even though I do not deserve his love. πŸ™‚

  111. Very CuTe piece!
Hrmm…some of the best wisdom I have gotten was from my parents when I got married- they told my husband and I to make sure to always take care of one another. πŸ™‚

  112. I saw this in a house once and, though a little cheesy, really loved it: “If equal affection cannot be, let the more loving one be me.”

  113. Be kinder than necessary. Everyone is struggling with something.

I repeat this several times a day. Some days I say it hundreds of times, because alas, I have teenage daughters. And 12 employees. Some days you could float a boat in the amount of hormones and drama around here.

**Second favorite saying?…silence is golden, duct tape is silver.

Love your stuff. Clean, classic andd heartwarming.

  114. How cute is that little necklace? My bit of wisdom is to live today like you’ll never get another. What a fun giveaway!

  115. “Never judge a book by it’s cover”

SO TRUE because all is not what it seems….

    Thanks for the giveaway πŸ™‚

  116. * Cute ! It brought lots of my childhood memories because I used to collect owls. My uncles and my dad would get me owls for Christmas and birthdays because I had always felt that they give me the wisdom over the years. *

My wisdom would always exchange any educational experiences with others. It does not matter if is young, old, rich, poor, uneducated, or educated people. Everyone always learn something new from a wisdom person.

  117. Send…yes, SEND by snail mail.. a note/card to the next person that comes to your mind. It will brighten their day knowing you were thinking of them. If you don’t have a snail mail address, at least call or email them.

  118. Love it!

wisdom – Simple gestures of kindness to those around you (family, friends or strangers) makes everyone’s day a little brighter.

    I hope it win!!

  119. β€œA wise old owl sat on an oak; The more he saw the less he spoke; The less he spoke the more he heard; Why aren’t we like that wise old bird?”

    These are BEAUTIFUL!

  120. Wisdom: Never trust spell check. Always feed your husband to prevent crankiness. Let little boys run outside often to avoid broken furniture. Take naps. Eat Cookies.

  121. When I find myself stressing about something, I stop and ask myself if it is so important that is would be an epitaph on my headstone. And when the answer is “no”, I stop the stressing. Just ask yourself if what you’re worked up about is so important that people will remember it in a year or a month or even a day. And most times, the answer is no…it will never be remembered. But how you deal with the stress will be. Puts a whole new perspective on things.
    Love Mr. Whoo… he’s certainly a cutie!!!

  122. It’s my birthday on Saturday and my husband just ordered me a large link charm braclet and my ya-ya group got me necklace. But this necklace is so adorable I might have to get a present for myself! Wisdom-“Everything you need to know you learned in Kindergarten.” You learned to share, and learned how to care.

  123. I would so love to give this to my daughter. She is doing an Owl themed birthday party for her second child’s first birthday. Wisdom? The greatest wisdom I can think of is” Accept Christ’s gift of salvation.

  124. Do what you LOVE and LOVE what you do.

Your designs get better and better all the time! LOVE this owl and WHOO he could represent….

Thx for the chance to win this lovely!!!

  125. “Let it go!”–this is a phrase I remind my family (and myself) at least once each day–we have a tendency to hang on to things (anger, bitterness, hurt, etc.) when it is so much better just to let it go.

  126. My one piece of advice is this, “Listen to your mom.” My mom, Hootie, always has the BEST advice. For far too long, and even still occasionally, I think I have a better understanding of things, but inevitably, my mom does know best. My teenage boys and husband even go to her for advice–advice on problems, home improvement projects, and God-stuff! Grandma Hootie rocks! You gotta love Grandma Hootie’s good ole Southern wisdom!

  127. I have a 14 mo. old and a one month old. Different people keep telling me: These are the best times. I keep trying to live in the moment instead of constantly saying, “I can’t wait until…”
    Love the necklace!!

  128. My words of wisdom- take time for the important things like daily talks with Jesus, time for your children and husband and call your mother.

  129. I {LOVE} it!!!!!!! My words of wisdom would be to never take anything for granted. Live each day to the fullest!

  130. Regularly reevaluate your priorities. It’s easy for them to gradually slide in a direction you didn’t intend, and without reevaluating those and making adjustments, you could have a lot of regrets.

  131. how lovely!
words of wisdom from maya angelou…
“you did what you knew how to do,
and when you knew better, you did better.”

  132. I’ve been crazy for owls lately. This is by far my favorite piece. I love it!
My favorite scripture is about this very thing (wisdom).
Proverbs 4:7,8. Nothing I could come up with could top that.

  133. ok, here is my very PRACTICAL piece of advice… whenever you want something new, whatever it is, you cannot buy it without knowing what “something old” you will go home and get rid of. For example, I want a new pair of shoes, I can get them as long as I give away an old pair at home. This always keeps your stuff managable and often keeps me from buying new-to-me unless I know of what I can get rid of at home. I love this necklace!!!

  134. My words of wisdom? If common sense were common, everyone would have it! Frustrating, but very true. Love the necklaces!

  135. Wisdom? none here tonight…just loving on my babes while they’re young enough to let me hold them…wait…maybe that’s wisdom!

I would SO love to win this giveaway! Thanks for the entry πŸ™‚

  136. Just keeping working at it “little by little” and you’ll get there. That is my piece of wisdom. It is often used lately for my children. At 4 and 6 they are trying a lot of new things. Sometimes they get discouraged easily, but I try to show them that they can break almost anything down into little pieces, have a small success and then they are closer to their goal.

Thank you for all of the lovely designs you have available. Love them!

  137. Whether they are good or bad times, moments pass quickly. I am trying to remember this as I have two of my four littles ones in diapers right now.

  138. love the owl! piece of wisdom that I share with my kids: you can’t always get what you want…[but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need!!!]

  139. Gorgeous! My best friend would so love this.

Sage bit of wisdom here – Carpe Diem – seize the day!

  140. Always count to ten and breathe! This is a daily ritual for me and my three little ones. Beautiful jewerly, I hope I am one of the three lucky ones.

  141. Love is in the little things…like a sweet little boy sharing his mushed up cookie. There is nothing like the love from a child!

  142. My grandmother loved and collected owls. Her bit of wisdom that she shared with me (I think she borrowed it from Mother Teresa) was “Pray without ceasing.” I try to remember this in good times and bad!

  143. I love this new little owl, and I too have two boys who love to see their names around my neck. I had a life changing experience happen to me a couple of months ago, that taught me a very valuable life lesson – as mothers, we always take care of others around us. But, in order to be the best mother, we need to remember to put ourselves first sometimes, and take time for the things we love. It is so important to keep the balance in our lives. “A healthy mother equals healthy children.”

  144. Cute!
My tiny bit of wisdom: If the side of mom’s head hits the car door window, the teenage driver probably took that turn a little too fast! I really used this measurement for my son when he had his learner’s permit. He had a hard time slowing down enough when coming off the highway to our subdivision! Ouch!

  145. I LOVE OWLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…can’t get enough stuff with them on it..super idea lisa..my wise thought that I tell my kids is..everyone makes mistakes….it’s only what we do after we’ve made them that really counts

  146. I love your work Lisa – you are blessed with such a talent! With more than 400 comments and counting I won’t hold my breath on winning, but just want to let you know I like what you do – and a purchase is definitely in my future!!

  147. ‘If you’re always look for something better, you miss out on the simple joys and the experience of today.’
It’s not a formal wisdom, but something I’ve learned over the last few years.

  148. Love everything you make! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. Wise words that I like to remind myself of, as often as I can, “Slow together is better than Fast alone.” (I believe this is Henri Nouwen’s.)

  149. From bambie- if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. Also- just to breathe.

  150. The wisdom I leave with you today is an old Native American Proverb (I think). “Hold on to what is good, even if it is a handful of earth; hold on to what you believe, even if it is a tree which stands alone; hold on to what you must do, even if it is a long way from here”

I love this neclace and I was planning on getting a necklace from you for my roommates birthday, but then you made this one and I know whether I win it or not, I will get it for her because she LOVES owls!

  151. My advice would be to enjoy each day because time flies! In other words, I can’t believe that I almost have a teenager on my hands as the oldest and my youngest will be going to kindergarten next year! The days have just flown by and sometimes I feel like I didn’t enjoy those “younger years” enough!

I’m getting sad thinking about that so I now need to think about how cute that new necklace is….I love it and since owls are the craze around our house right now (my 3rd grader had to make & write a paper on an animal and she chose an owl) it would be wooooonderful! Thanks!

  152. First of all, I love your “stuff”; I get compliments on the necklace my husband got me for our anniversary & the one I gave my mother for helping when I had our baby in Dec. she absolutely loved!

And as for the wisdom, never get into an argument w/a 3-year-old…

  153. So cute Lisa!!

Bit of wisdom: always give people the benefit of the doubt – because afterall don’t you want the same?

Thanks for your sweet reminders and words and photos and jewerly!

    xoTiffany

  154. facebooked it (even though a little selfish part of me likes that my mom has the only LL necklace among all our friends here, currently. i got her the little bird necklace for christmas and she wears it everyday πŸ™‚

  155. I saw this quote featured on a local morning talk show this morning and it stuck with me: “Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.”
    -A. Linkletter-
As usual, beautiful piece. Absolutely love it!!!

  156. I think this is adorable. I don’t have too many wise old owl sayings. . . how about enjoy all of your kid’s funny quirks and don’t try to make them like everyone else!

  157. The wise owl says, ” Enjoy EVERY moment….Live everyday as if it were your last…Live, Laugh and LOVE…”
The wise owl also says, ” Pick me!” (heehee)….
    Your blog is inspirational!

  158. Whoooooo loves me? Nobody right now. But my 7 yr old niece tells me “Don’t give up on love”. (she yelled her words of wisdom to me as she ran through the room where her mom was on the phone with me. Funny thing is…my sister was trying to tell me the same thing, she just took more words to get it across)

  159. L.O.V.E. this piece. Seriously. It is perfectly beautiful. And so me. I’m always trying to figure out a reason to just buy one of your pieces for myself. (Is that selfish?) This is the one I want now.

Words of wisdom: Always show & tell your kids that you love them. Don’t expect that they already know, because maybe they don’t. Play with them over anything else. Listen to them and remember what they tell you. πŸ™‚

  160. This little bit of wisdom I got from my mothers senior year quote in her yearbook.
“Life is like a fruitcake…there are bound to be a few nuts”.

I’ve tweeted and retweeted this contest, I heard about it from @redneckmommy (I’m @lalolagirl)
I also am posting a link to this on my facebook and my blog!!

I love your work its gorgeous!

  161. Bloom where you are! Heard it in therapy and then saw it on a church sign. Great wisdom. Bloom where you are!.

  162. My aunt and God Mother Karol LOVED owls, and one of my most treasured possessions is an owl from her collection (she passed away unexpectedly, 2 years ago).

So, passing along some of her wisdom…always put on you {red} lipstick!

Thanks for the chance to WIN!!!

  163. My mom always told me “Be the job, big or small, do it well or not at all”. As a kid, I would usually prefer the not at all part while doing chores, but she instilled a good work ethic in me. I actually just used the line on my husband a couple of weeks ago πŸ™‚

  164. Spend a few moments each day cherishing your children right where they are….they won’t stay there for long.

  165. Everyday might not be good, but there is good in everyday. My mom always shares this with me. I love the owl. Thank you for your sweet blog and website.

  166. I forgot my words of wisdom! Sorry!!
    They would be
    1. If your kids like you all the time, you aren’t setting enough limits and boundaries to be a good parent.
    2. A good friend is far more precious than gold.
    3. Find something nice to say to and compliment everyone you come in contact with. One kind word can change someone’s entire day.
    4. Enjoy each moment, mess and miracle with your kids. They are grown and gone far, far too fast.

  167. My son, Miles, has loved Owls since infancy. He tells me this owl’s secret wisdom is this: “He knows how to make people ‘member to smile on the insides, Mommy.”

No joke… I’m a very lucky mama. Lisa, your jewelry is inspirational. Please keep creating!

    Kristen

  168. My wisdom: Always tell the people you love that you love them. Not just telling them. By showing them too. You never really know if they (or you) will be alive the next second to do so..

  169. My piece of knowledge? Green tea has phytochemicals that can prevent the growth of cancer cells!

I’d love to be able to wear this necklace with TheMister’s name on it!

  170. I love this necklace. It’s absolutely beautiful. What an adorable way to show the world and whoever looks at your necklace WHOO YOU LOVE <3

  171. A friend just happened to send these words of wisdom to me this morning, little did she know how much I needed them today! So I will pass them along…”The Will of God never takes you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.”
Thanks for the lovely giveaway, it’s beautiful. I love all your work.

  172. Lisa, every time you come out with something new.. I love it more than before πŸ˜‰

“Your children are only small once.. ”

    xoxo

  173. The owl is super cute. My mom loves owls and it would be the perfect gift for her.
Wisdom- Teach other, it is amazing the lesson you learn in the process :).

    Sarah

  174. Though we all go through trials and seasons of turmoil, us overcoming that season is someone else’s HOPE in the future.

My friend Annie told me this when I was going through one of the roughest seasons of my life and it gave me the strength to get through. God has totally used what I went through to help so many amazing women around me. I’m so blessed to know that He can and will always turn everything around for our good.

  175. Your jewelry is so refreshing! They’re creative and beautiful without being fussy. πŸ™‚ Anyhow, what gets me through the day with my 3 (5 and under) and thru any tough situations is my faith in God. Not to get all religious on you but the healing that I’ve experienced is so real and to have peace more often than not, is such a blessing! Have a blessed day!

  176. I adore owls, they are just so beautiful! My words of wisdom are:

It’s really important to make time to be content just to ‘be’. ‘Being’ is so much more important than ‘having’!!

    Big smiles, Phiilppa

  177. LOVE IT! Take it minute by minute. We can’t change what has already happened, but we can try to make the most of what is to come.

  178. Love this necklace! Thanks for the chance to win one. One bit of wisdom that’s served me well as my children are growing is … “its just a phase…” Got me through some of their more difficult phases!

  179. love your jewelery I tell everyone I know about your site. My favorite phrase that seems to fit for most things “It is what it is”
    Tranae

  180. Love the necklace! My favorite piece of advice (which I often have to give myself) is to focus on what you’re doing, not what you’re missing.

  181. Love the give-away!

I adsolutely love this necklace! I’m doing an owl themed baby shower for my sis-in-law and I think this will be the perfect gift!

Bit of wisdom – Sometimes we open our eyes to all the bad in the world and close our eyes to all the good. Both are all around and we just have to realize which ones we should focus on.

    Ashley Nicole

  182. My 4 year old just told my five year old that “God wants us to share.” Never hurts to appeal to a higher power when your elder brother isn’t giving up the coveted Star Wars toys.

    I love your work!!

  183. Love it! I have a baby girl on the way and would love to wear her name (along with my sweet husbands’) close to my heart! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  184. So cute! I absolutely love your jewelry and hope to have a piece someday soon.

Bit of wisdom that I recently heard and having been repeating to myself – “Nothing ever tasted as good as what being thin feels like”. πŸ™‚

  185. Very fun necklace, my grandmother used to decorate her house in owls, so my piece of advice comes from her – You can never tell your children “I love you” too much!

  186. I love love love this necklace!!!

My piece of advice would be “God is bigger than my biggest fear or challenge. Don’t worry for He is there to help us”

  187. I LOVE this necklace. I am going to blog about it and put the link on my facebook right after I am done here. You are such an extremely talented lady.

My words of wisdom come from something that Tim Holtz expresses alot.

Happiness is not a destination but a journey.

Enjoy every minute of your life because we never know what God has planned for us or those around us.

    Teresa

  188. Possibly one of the cutest I’ve seen. Simply adorable. Keep up the awesome work. β™₯β™₯β™₯ it πŸ˜‰ Karri

  189. Possibly one of the cutest I’ve seen. Simply adorable. Keep up the awesome work. β™₯β™₯β™₯ it πŸ˜‰ Karri

  190. Possibly one of the cutest I’ve seen. Simply adorable. Keep up the awesome work. β™₯β™₯β™₯ it πŸ˜‰ Karri

  191. love owls. this is so sweet.

wisdom–hmmm. i seriously try to cherish every moment with my 3 little toddlers. i am going to miss the snot on my shirt, spilled milk, and them yelling ‘mama! mama! mama!!!!’ someday.

  192. I LOVE THIS!!! Well, I really love most everything of yours! I really should drop a hint to my husband about your site! My words of wisdom…slow down and enjoy the ride! It amazes me how time just flies by so fast. I blinked and now my son is 4!!! How did that happen???

  193. I love your work and enjoy seeing what you write. I think that finding something to smile about each day is important. I might be something small – your teenager smiled at you – or something big – the tree in front of the house is in bloom and made it through that wild rain/wind storm! Hug your kids and enjoy life as it moves along.

  194. Take a deep breath and relax: everything happens for a reason and everything will turn out the way it is supposed to!

  195. This one might have to become my favorite! I don’t know if I have much wisdom to share, but something I’m working on is trying to say “no” less and “yes” more. After uttering, shouting, and saying “no” through a clenched jaw about 100 times a day it has been wearing me out! Hopefully learning to let go and relax a bit more will help me enjoy where I am with my babe and spruce up my mood as well.

  196. The owl is so darling! πŸ™‚
My wisdom? Hmmmm. Sounds corny, but I have to remind myself of it daily….
    “Bloom where you are planted.”
We’ve moved around an awful lot in the past few years, latest move was 6 months ago and was very unexpected. I repeat this little phrase often when I’m being threatened by the “it’s so not fair” thoughts! πŸ™‚

  197. Here’s a great piece of wisdom that I was encouraged by last night!

“Failure is achieving anything other than that which you were called to accomplish.” Dewey Novotny

    What a cute owl! πŸ™‚

  198. ohmigosh!! i think this has to be my favorite necklace of yours (and i already own 5!)

my bit of wisdom “owl” steal from 2 of my necklaces that i own: breath & live in the moment πŸ™‚

  199. Beautiful. and cute!
I liked the wisdom comment about trying to ‘capture the moment’ with photography – but sometimes just having to put the camera down and just ‘live in the moment’ instead. Both have wonderful memories.

  200. Cute, cute, cute.
Wisdom – my son and I are both pig headed and have to get the last word in. My husband is a gentle giant and always says to me “do you want to be happy or do you want to be right”. I always keep that phrase in the back of my mind with I disagree with something – it’s not always worth the fight.

  201. Thanks Lisa…love your jewelery, words and pictures; you inspire me.
I have a wise quote from Norman Vincent Peale.
“Change your thoughts and you change your world.”
I gave this advice to my son…who happens to be 15 which is proving to be a challenging age for both of us!!

  202. LOVE this!!! I love owls and your jewellry=perfect combination πŸ™‚ A little bit of wisdom—hold onto your kids!

  203. I have a long way to go before I can give others wise words, but I would think if you keep Christ first in your life, everything else will fall into place. I will try to win one, but I will definitely get one for my niece – I just have to think of something wonderful to put on it.

  204. I love taking pictures of my boys, but I’ve come to realize that as much as I want to capture memories on film, I don’t want to miss the MOMENTS. So, my advice is to take pictures but also just take it in.

  205. Something I have learned over the past 20 years, raising my ten children: Children are a blessing from the Lord, meant to be enjoyed. Smile into your child’s soul everyday, love them, train them, ENJOY them. Debi Pearl says: “Visible joy is the only joy children understand!” Blessings, Trina

  206. LOVE this piece! There seems to be an owl movement going on lately…and I love it!!
Wisdom from the wise old owl:

Choose to love no matter what.

    Lots of love!!!
    Kelly

  207. I love this! It is so cute!! With five kids, a full-time job, and a busy household to run my bit of wisdom is to remember to take time out for yourself…. and patience is the key. πŸ™‚

  208. my Grandpa was very wise – something that has always stayed with me is to forgive others, it’s actually just as much for you as for the others, because you will feel better and have a weight lifted off you

  209. Just trying to decide which necklace I want……too many to decide….

Words of Wisdom?? “Don’t eat yellow snow”……..this is important where we live….

    jennifer

  210. My favorite bit of wisdom is a question – What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail? It brings wisdom.

    Adorable necklace.

  211. I just love this! I also just ordered two of your incourage necklaces and they are just awesome. Lisa, you never cease to amaze me with your creativity. My bit of wisdom…All you need is love <3

  212. Thanks for the chance … those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. Just Breathe. And this too shall pass. All three are my mantras – so necessary! THANKS AGAIN πŸ™‚

  213. I love…love..love your designs. My bit of wisdom: It’s not enough to know that YOU love your kidos…you have to show them, tell them and hug them whenever possible.

  214. Well I have learned with my 3rd baby that being confident is the most ‘valuable’ tool I have as a parent.

  215. Whoo do I love?… my 2 kiddos! Crazy boys! Wisdom: “Slow down and enjoy life- or it might just pass you by!”

  216. Tweeted~ still trying to follow you via tweet, but my phone won’t let me. Guess I’ll have to break down at home and get online!

  217. I love this necklace, it is adorable!! A bit of wisdom I’ve learned as a mama is to pick my battles with my kids. There are some things that just aren’t worth fighting about!

  218. I am wearing my LL necklace right now but would love this updated version! My wisdom: tell your kids you love them, a lot, and outloud.

  219. Take a short nap when your young kids do-will make you a better person for when they wake up!!
    Love Love Love the necklace!!

  220. I absolutely LOVE this design! You are so creative and I always enjoy seeing your new (and old) work πŸ™‚

  221. I love this, perfect for my three little boys. Wise words… Don’t forget to use your brain every day, do a puzzle, create something, unplug and grow.

  222. Such a sweet necklace! My words of wisdom lately have been to enjoy the moment, especially with the kids. They are growing up so quickly and one day, they will be gone. Sad to think of, but we are truly trying to enjoy each moment they bring to us.

  223. This is a super necklace…you are so creative, Lisa, and I love seeing what you come up with in your jewelry and your photographs.
A bit of wisdom that I am working on walking out:
    Talk less and listen more.
Watch for opportunities to do simple acts of kindness.
    Smile and make eye contact.
God’s Word is an alive and poweful agent of change. It does not return void. Hide it in your heart.

  224. Love your jewelry. Every time I think I have the exact piece I want, you come up with something new and spectacular! I may need to get more than one!

Wisdom??? “Fall down 7 times, get up 8”.

    πŸ™‚

  225. So sweet…this would certainly brighten my days.
Change and uncertainty – this seems to be the theme of my life right now. I am beginning to realize that I need to approach life as I did the birth of my children – make informed decisions, surrender and accept what is to come. This wise owl could remind me of that each day. Life is birth ~ Birth is Life. xo

  226. Love it! Here’s my bit of wisdom, coming from someone who’s going through depression.

Sadness can set you free. You have to drop everything to get through it, except for the really, really important things. And so I am grateful for this tough time in my life.

  227. My fave wisdom to live by is from a James Taylor song, “The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time”. I absolutely love the owl. It is definitely my fave so far. What a great design!

  228. This is absolutely adorable! And I love it paired with the moon! My words of wisdom that I try to live by is “don’t go to bed angry with each other.” Sometimes easier said than done, though! πŸ˜‰
(the moon charm with hubbies name is a great reminder, actually!)

  229. This owl necklace is one of my favorites! I love it! The owl is such a symbol of wisdom and patience and the beauty of God’s creation. I can’t wait to tell everyone on facebook and twitter! My 19 son will adores owls ~ so if I win I will be sure his name is on it!

    Precious!

  230. This necklace is so beautiful! I just adore the owl and love the moon and stars tag.

My bit of wisdom: Don’t be afraid to live out loud.

Off to tweet this great giveaway!

  231. Love Mr. Owl!
A bit of wisdom from our friend Dr. Seuss: “Those who matter don’t mind, and those who mind don’t matter.”

  232. This is awesome! I have a tattoo of an owl sitting on the moon with 3 stars (one for each of my kids)! I sooo need this!

“Don’t be afraid to be afraid! “

  233. Whoo do I love?? I love my Husband, for always being so supportive and Loving. I love this sweet little miracle that I just recently found out is in my belly.. God is so good, and his timing is always perfect. So my wisdomly thought would be to never doubt what God can do, his works are great and beyond our seeing eye. Trust in the Lord, and great things will surely come. πŸ™‚

  234. Lisa: I love the owl–it is so cute! A bit of wisdom: “if it’s to be, it’s up to me”. Also “If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it”. Words I try to live by.

  235. Don’t throw electronic devices, no matter how mad you are.

(I had to spend $100 on a new phone yesterday because of that.)

  236. I love your jewelry so much–my birthday is coming up and I’m just hoping my boyfriend has picked up on at least one of my hints πŸ™‚

My advice? It’s less advice-y and more of my mantra: Be someone who is listened to, and when you are, have something worth saying.

  237. what a fun piece! i would love to own one. here is my favorite little bit of wisdom, from one of my favorite authors: dr seuss.

β€œBe who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter won’t mind.”

  238. I love the new necklace. It’s so cute.
My bit of wisdom is never take anything personally, from “The Four Agreements.”

  239. I love this! Hmm, wise words… When your husband does something that hurts your feelings, don’t vent to your family about it. They will hold grudges long after you’ve made up.

That’s some of the best advice I’ve ever heard.

  240. I love that!

Advice: Don’t worry about tomorrow!! I wish I listened to my own advice better sometimes…

  241. I love that!

Advice: Don’t worry about tomorrow!! I wish I listened to my own advice better sometimes…

  242. I love that!

Advice: Don’t worry about tomorrow!! I wish I listened to my own advice better sometimes…

  243. Beautiful piece! I love it! I like that old WWII poster’s advice…”Keep calm and carry on.” It’s my mantra.

  244. Tweeted and putting a link on my FB page. These are adorable and I LOVE your website, so clean, so pretty! I think I need to go shopping!

  245. Love the new owl necklace – super cute! My favorite piece of advice is from Khalil Gibran “An eye for an eye and we’d all be blind” I think tolerance is the most important piece of wisdom that I have learned in life.

  246. Two bits of wisdom (oldies but goodies);

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. I am trying to follow this right now but it’s easier said than done!

If smiling is contagious, let’s create an epidemic.

Beautiful piece! I would love to win one! πŸ™‚

  247. Something I just read this morning: “For now you should just know: I did not quit. And you can’t quit either. You can make it. Whatever the blow is, you can make it. You are not alone. Voice your burdens, share your struggles and ask God’s children, the Big C church as my friend Christy calls it, for prayer. For help. Allow them to walk with you. And kno…w that someone has come for you. You are not by yourself.”

  248. Love the new piece!
As a mom of a “special little guy” too, I am blessed to follow the journey of your family.
As for wisdom, I think I will use the lines of Mark Schultz’s new song when I am having one of those days . . . “Lord just let this world fade away. Let me feel your presence in this place.”
    Thanks!
    Heather

  249. Love this necklace! My son loves owls right now.
The best piece of advice I’ve received about kids is: Everything is a phase. It reminds me that “this too shall pass.” I hope I can remember that when I have teenagers!

  250. I love this new piece!
As I sit here with my 7 month old sleeping in my lap I am remided to hold every moment sacred. That is my wisdom for the day,

  251. I love this necklace! My wisdom: Don’t sweat the small stuff… I’ve been struggling with that lately, but have recently realized that it’s out of my control and there is no use worrying about it.

  252. A long time ago my sister in law told me to “never take yourself too seriously.”
Since then, some very serious, sad things have happened and honestly, the ability to still laugh at life’s absurdity, and yes–even humor that still transpires every day–has been a breath of fresh air to me. Thank God for people who make me laugh and typos that cause me to write “thong” when I really just mean that innocuous little word, “thing.” The difference is truly amazing.

    Love your jewelry and blog:)

  253. Owl’s wisdom….
“watching the world while it sleeps…enjoying the quiet and calm…”

LOVE your creativity and the new necklace. My boys’ names would be so cute on it!!

  254. Love it! Oh my what a gorgeous necklace!! I can just picture this necklace around the neck of my mother in law (who has an affection for owls) with the initials of her grandchildren who who she certainly adores.
You are amazing – a woman after my own heart!

  255. fun to see the cheney’s in your pix.

words of wisdom, will come from what i shared with you yesterday “give it grace.” the things you cannot accomplish, the things pressuring you, the little things you should overlook, so you can take in God’s goodness…give it grace.

  256. I just try to take each day as it comes and not worry about the next….relish in the moments. I love your work and this new one is just as great as the others, beautiful work πŸ™‚

  257. My words of ‘owl’ wise wisdom.
Each night as you lay your head down think of ten things to Thank our Lord for, the blessings of life will cause our struggles to fade.

  258. “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell” (Mt. 10:28).
    What a cute necklace!

  259. Oh my, another sweet, beautiful design. I LOVE all your creations. My bit of wisdom: Remember that a smile can change someone’s day!

  260. The first three things on my to do list each day: 1) say a prayer for someone…2) always be kind…3) have patience even when you don’t want to.
Your jewelry is AMAZING! I love this necklace!

  261. An OWL necklace!!!!! Yay!!!!!! I really love owls sooooo much. Love it!

Bit O’ Wisdom: listen to your friends sob stories even when you see a store is going out of business

  262. Wow. Wow. I’m having a giveaway of you…You’re having a giveaway of you! This is totally, seriously a fabulous day.

    Wisdom.

    Ummm…

    Wisdom.

OK. Get ready this is going to be deep.

“We prepare for glory by falling until we don’t”

You thought I was going to be silly didn’t you?

But I can be serious when I must.

    But only one Tuesdays.

And only for a LL giveaway.

    Thank you.

  263. Very cute as always. My bit of wisdom, “Dreams make life tolerable so don’t let anyone take away your dreams.”

  264. Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

  265. OMG, I love your work!
My words of wisdom are “Belief. It is the strongest word in the dictionary of life.”…. Not mine actually πŸ™‚

  266. my little piece of wisdom comes from one of my favorite people, Dave Ramsey: “Debt is dumb!” πŸ˜‰

  267. I have a simple little owl I picked up at a flea market. He is perched on a table in our family room. I added a framed quote on an easel next to him that says β€œA wise old owl sat on an oak; The more he saw the less he spoke; The less he spoke the more he heard; Why aren’t we like that wise old bird?”
Isn’t that the coolest quote? Hard to live by though!

This necklace would be perfect since all three of my babies will be out of the nest soon. Oldest son is a senior in college and will graduate in May. Younger son will leave in May for Air Force Basic training. And our baby girl, will graduate from high school and be attending a University 250 miles away where the mascot is guess what? An owl!

Whooo would appreciate the necklace? ME!

  268. I am in love with the owl! In love! My wisdom would be that you can never take too many pictures – babies become elementary students way too quickly and you don’t want to miss documenting those growing years!

  269. I love my kids! I think that owl is so cute! The best piece of wisdom is from my Grandmother who taught me to never pass up something that’s free! It has come in handy in many instances.

  270. Such a great necklace! My “words of wisdom” really aren’t wise, but ones I try to remember everyday……”Enjoy every moment with your kids…..they are only little once!” If they are coloring on the walls……well maybe just grab a color and join in with them! πŸ™‚

  271. Too sweet! I absolutely love this piece. A dear friend of mine, who was full of wisdom, often said, “Regardless of what is going on in your life, there are others around you in need-reach out to them and YOU will grow. Helping others is helping yourself!” I will never forget that! Thanks, Doc B!!

  272. Beautiful necklace! It would be perfect for my birthday on the 26th of this month. All of your work is lovely, and you are so talented!! My wisdom comes from my mother (doesn’t it usually?)…”Bloom where you’re planted”. When I was younger and she would say this, I thought she was nuts, hahah, but now that I’m older I know exactly what she means. God bless mothers and their wisdom.

  273. I LOVE this!

My bit of wisdom– a month from now it won’t matter if everything went perfectly on this day, so just soak in the day, all the good and the bad, and don’t worry about it. πŸ™‚

That’s something I’m trying very hard to do now.

    Great piece!

  274. Adorable… i agree that this might be one of the best designs yet. What a beautiful way to wrap myself up in my loved ones.

  275. I love this! My oldest is so into owls right now and this is adorable. Dont’ know that i can offer much wisdom other than just to take every day as it comes, minute by minute. At least in my world, it’s bound to change back and forth that quickly so I can’t dwell on how good (or bad) it is at any one time. I just have to enjoy it as it comes!

  276. Lisa you just keep getting better and better. I absolutely love this piece. It is my favorite thing you have ever done. Owls hold a special place in my heart. My dad started this little “hootie hoo” saying when I was little. Then it passed on to my best friend who is like my sister. We would always say hootie hoo to each other as a term of endearment. Now we get each other little owl gifts whenever we can find them, a doormat, a jewelry dish, a candle, cards, etc. Her oldest child is talking now and I had her saying it…She was saying ” hoot hoot”. We even had a special visitor one Christmas Eve at my grandparents house…A beautiful white snow owl sat on the cornucopia. I would love to have the hootie hoo necklace for my “sister” Meghan. Thanks for conjuring up all the memories today! πŸ™‚

  277. I just came across this quote a couple of days ago and think it’s a great piece of wisdom:

You cannot escape the results of your thoughts… Whatever your present environment may be, you will fall, remain, or rise with your thoughts, your vision, your ideal. You will become as small as your controlling desire, as great as your dominant aspiration.
    -James Lane Allen

  278. My second child is now 8 months old (a 6.5 year gap between kids) and my mantra this year has been, “Feel the fear, but do it anyway.” Although I am an educated woman who has already been a parent for 7 years, I am desperately afraid to “fail” in the mothering department. These last 8 months have been hard on the family, but it has also been a huge lesson in humility. I knew we needed help for a variety of issues (sleep deprivation, post partum depression, sibling rivalry, etc.), but I was afraid to ask for it. After seeing the toll these issues were taking on my family, I bit the bullet and asked for help. The anxiety and fear were almost crippling, but I did it anyways. Now looking back, I know I did the right thing by asking the experts: sleep consultant, psychologists, medical doctors. Now we are a functioning family (sort of πŸ˜› ). I acknowledged the fear, but didn’t let it prevent me from doing the right thing as a mother.

  279. trust God-trust that God will take care of you and help you weather any storm. this is something i say to myself everyday.

be yourself. No matter who comes and goes in your life, always be true to who you are. Do not let other influence or change you, unless for the better!

  280. My words of wisdom….take care of yourself. You truly are no good to anyone unless you are taken care of. As a mom of two little ones, I know the importance to this now! Easier said than done most days, but we do what we can πŸ™‚
Love the owl! Would be sooo excited if I won!!

  281. Oh my – I love the little owlie! My wise advice – hmmm….”For me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

  282. One bit of wisdom, hmmm. I’ll say what I’ve been telling my girls lately: It’s nice to be important but its more important to be nice.

  283. Beautiful! Love the wise owl, everyone needs a wise owl around our neck. I am a mother of 5 children and one with special needs. When things feel hard I try to remember that every day is a gift. Embrace every moment, good and bad. With God all things are possible.
BTW, your web-site inspires me every day. Your positive spirit lifts me.

  284. I love owls!!! My wise owl (my mom) always says that good things are attracted to good thoughts, so think positive and good things will come your way.

  285. I love this necklace! So cute!

My words of wisdom would be “Enjoy every bit of your kids, they grow up too fast”

Thank you for another great giveaway!

  286. My piece of wisdom –
Dance like no one is watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like no one is listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth.

    Love the necklace!

  287. Don’t judge those who try and fail, judge those who fail to try. Would love to have that AWESOME necklace to show everyone just WHOO I LOVE!

  288. Here’s our wise old wisdom that we used to say when our 10 y/o was younger:
“you eat when you eat, play when you play. you don’t play when you eat, no way, no way”.

  289. Here is my little boy’s favorite piece of wisdom- “you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit!”

  290. I love it! My wisdom is to take life one day at a time, one step at a time. Also, worrying about the future never actually helps, it just causes stress. Trying to remind myself of those two things today :).

  291. This is a two part piece of wisdom. My word of the year is better. So my piece of wisdom is always try to better yourself and be better than you are. For me that means being more productive at work, working out more, staying organized etc.

  292. As the mom of two teenage boys, I try to think that God has a plan and everything will work out the way it should. This piece is adorable, I would love it.

  293. what a darling piece! my new bit of wisdom i learned over the weekend: ask yourself every day, every week, every month–am i the spiritual person i should be?

  294. Love it!

My mom told me once that, “one day all of the dishes will be done and your laundry will be caught up and it will be the saddest day of your life, quit worrying about your house and go play in the yard while you can!!!” I repeat that to myself every time I freak out that there are dirty dishes overflowing the sink and the laundry pile is taller than me…and then I put on my shoes and go play. The time with my kids is the time that is fleeting and the dishes and laundry can get done in my spare time.

  295. Love it!! Owls are so darn cute! The wise owl says: “Let them be little” (referring to kids – don’t try to make them grow up too fast!)

  296. I love this! My favorite bit of wisdom is the quote taped to my computer “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew 6:34

  297. Look for the beauty in all situations. Even the dark ones. That’s my wisdom.
    My praise to you is:
love, love love your bright, lively, happy art. This owl is so sweet, really.

  298. Ohhh! I think that’s my new favorite necklace!
The wise owl says smother your little ones in kisses all day!

  299. I love your blog! It is so heartwarming to read about your boys, it is the first thing I read every morning! Your jewelry reminds me of my personal words of wisdom: Love is everywhere πŸ™‚

  300. love the necklace! here’s my advice about the one’s you love:
Never try and change those who you love, and always remember that you feel in love with them for exactly who they are!

  301. Cute piece! My wisdom: try to savor each step of the journey you’re on…even when it’s hard to do!

  302. I took a walk with my daughter last night and she held my hand almost the whole time. It was a moment I want to cherish forever. So I guess my wisdom woulod be to just cherish every moment you have with the ones you love.

  303. My bit of wisdom would be to let go of worry. It’s such a hard thing to do, but you have to realize you can’t change what has already passed and that you will make it through whatever else comes your way. πŸ™‚

    Adorable piece!

  304. adorable!

love God, love others…we are doing our best to instill this one early in our three litte ones!

  305. what a sweet piece of jewelry. i would LOVE to win this. count me in.

the best advice i’ve ever received was, “keep on keeping on” because it’s simple and to the point.

    thanks for a great giveaway!

  306. My little bit of wisdom: Never make a promise you can’t keep. My mom always said that when I was little. : )
This is fabulous, I just love it!

  307. With a 7 month old at home, I have learned very quickly (and I try to remember…) to pay attention to each little moment; there is something special happening always, and you don’t want to miss it for the things that aren’t important (laundry, housework, dinner!:-) )

  308. I have this reminder on my blog and it is a reminder for me each day:

β€œThe biggest mistake I made [as a parent] is the one that most of us make. . . . I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of [my three children] sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages six, four, and one. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less.”

    -Anna Quindlen(Loud and Clear [2004], 10–11)

Would love to win this beauty!

  309. my mantra: be here now.

whenever i start feeling removed or get too busy…’be here now’.
it ALWAYS snaps me back to present moments.

  310. Worrying is like a rocking chair – it will give you something to do but it won’t get you anywhere.

  311. I am a young mom, I don’t have much life experience but I do know “Together is the best place to be”. It is not about material things, it is about being with your family!

  312. love it! i have a dainty little collection of owls and this would just make me happy to wear around my neck. Hmm…a bit of wisdom…”The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” Proverbs 9:10

  313. Two pieces of wisdom…the first one I discovered in high school while reading Ralph Waldo Emerson: “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies with in us.”

My other fav wisdom is from Dr. George Washington Carver: β€œHow far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.”

Thank you for the giveaway. I LOVE reading the wisdom of others.

  314. My wisdom, which I share with my daughters several times daily, is from my yoga class, “Take a long, slow in breath and let it out nice and easy”. Amazing how it calms us all.
    Such a cute necklace!

  315. I love your work! I’ve been looking everywhere for something similar and cannot find it. I hope to get a piece soon. God bless!

“God is bigger than all of my problems and all of my fears.”

  316. Beautiful!! So sweet and so cute as well. My wisdom? (not sure I”m so wise but I’ve learned this by experience): Do everything with love and you will get much farther much faster than you might anticipate – because love WORKS.

  317. SO fun. I know just the girl for this necklace! πŸ™‚
“Be true to WHO you are” would be what I would put on it! πŸ™‚

  318. “Everything happens for a reason.” While sometimes that reason is hard to see at the time, I have always find that I can go back and figure out the lesson that was to be learned from the experience. Love the owl!

  319. Oh Lisa, the new necklace is adorable! I love how you added the extra charm with stamped ‘wish’ and a sliver of moon. It just completes it.

A bit of wisdom? From a mom of teenagers: Love deeply, but set boundries. Be as consistant as possible and impose consequences. Oh yeah, and no matter where they say they are, check up on them constantly!!! ; )

  320. Love the new necklace! My triplets would love seeing this on my neck…with their names!! My piece of wisdom is my ‘mantra’ for this year. Be present. My kids grow to fast to be worried about the small stuff (or even the laundry and dishes sometimes). πŸ™‚
    Thank you for the opportunity!
    Blessings!

  321. The wisom I am chanting to myself all year will be “Keep calm and carry on”. I think it fits my life perfectly! I so love owls, they are mysterious and beautiful – would love this necklace!

  322. i LOVE the new necklace. i am a weensie bit obsessed with owls this year which makes me love it even more!

bit of wisdom i’m trying to follow (but often failing at)… be GRATEFUL. gratitude improves my attitude.

hard to always remember, but there it is.

  323. I love owls! Have you seen tiny burrowing owls? Many years ago a number of them lived on the undeveloped part of my college here in south Florida.

Here is one of my favorite bits of wisdom:
Marriage is an edifice which must be rebuilt each day.

I’d be thrilled to wear your necklace if I’m one of the lucky ones.
    thank you

  324. love this design!
Bit of wisdom: Never regret. If it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience. ~Victoria Holt

  325. So cute! Someone already used my “yellow snow” advice… So, I’ll go with… Talk to strangers!

  326. Oh my, I absolutely love this design! Hmm… my piece of wisdom to share? Spend lots of time outside but always wear plenty of sunscreen!

  327. I love owls. They seem calm in their demeanor. Watching, learning and responding with a comforting “whoo”. I have pictures of owls in my home and they remind me to watch and react softly always remembering “who” my children are, “who” I am and “Who” entrusted them to my care.
What a great necklace. I’m glad you brought the cute wise old owl to your collection.

  328. Oh, I just love owls. My wisdom is this quote from the great Dr. Seuss: Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.

  329. My wisdom is second hand, I think it was Nancy Lee D’Moss who I heard say it.
“There aren’t enough hours in the day to do what you want to do. There are enough hours in the day to do what God wants you to do.”

  330. Ooh, I LOVE this new design!! Wisdom from me (hah!) – God knows better than me. Now if only I was as good at taking this advice as I am at sharing it hehe:)

  331. The wise owl is telling me today to savor all the little moments for life goes by so fast! LOVE this new design!

  332. My bit of wisdom is to “Hug the ones you love each and every day”! It makes a lot of things all better!! πŸ™‚ Love this necklace. It would fit all three of my children plus DH on there. Nice!

  333. Take time to enjoy the little moments….with children each moment is so precious!
Love the new necklace!!! My son loves owls! Super cute!

  334. Beautiful as always.

Wise words? I am not wise at all. Therefore I lean on the Lord to give me all good gifts. I guess that would be my words of wisdom. Lean on the Lord.

  335. bit of wisdom: when you lay down to go to sleep, forget about today. block tomorrow and all its stresses out. think only of the sweet, restful, great-for-your-body sleep you’re going to get for the next few hours…otherwise you won’t! (unless you’re one of those lucky sleep-through-anything people anyway)

  336. What a hooty little owl!
Reminds me of those my son would draw with boy-like simplicity πŸ™‚
    and I would gladly wear.

This little bit of wisdom is written on the wall of our schoolroom as reminder to us all when we hit a difficult area of learning, and someone asks, “Why are we doing this?”

“To be able to wrestle & discern with intelligence”

    {{* *}}

  337. Gorgeous necklace! Love the owl!

Here is the wisdom I try to live by: Live each day as your last, love like there is no tomorrow.

  338. Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

That is my little bit of wisdom for the day. This verse is something that I have been contemplating a lot lately and it truly challenges me on every level. Everyday I am encouraged to focus on “today” and let tomorrow think about itself. Darn that tomorrow -haha

  339. love it! thanks so much. do you think you could fit 7 names on there somehow? that would be fabulous! i’m not really too filled with wisdom, i just try to take one day at a time and trust the Lord for each day, but i’m not that good at it. it’s tough. it shouldn’t be, but it is. thanks!
    shana

  340. I went to church Sunday after a while of not going and it was great!! The message spoke to me and my hubby directly…as it always seems after we’ve been away for a bit! πŸ™‚ The message was great…and some wisdom that I imparted was – there’s a time to rest and a time to work…you don’t have to do it all…it’s ok to rest for a bit to recharge…so you can offer your best self to those that you love…how can u be a good wife and mommy if you’re feeling so worn out and run down…?? So true!! Oh and my big boy stayed in the nursery for the first time and did so great – I’m so proud of him…he’s almost 18 mths. old and growing up so fast on me!

  341. Oh my goodness! I was totally in love with this new piece when I saw it. And I read more and more of your post, more and more enthralled. And then to find at the end that you are giving some away — oh my!

  342. First of all this necklace is AWESOME! πŸ™‚ LOVE IT!!!
My fave words of wisdom life is short don’t take a single moment for granted. Unfortunately I know this all to well. But I’ve learned to accept the tragic events that have happened in my life and I think they have all made me stronger through my faith in God, I know there is a grand plan! Now I just gotta hang on and enjoy the ride!!! πŸ™‚

  343. this is sweet and so fun!
the wisdom around here is *take the high road*. we’ve had some tough days on the teenage peer front. but in the end it feels a whole lot better to know you were true to yourself, and did the good, honeset and right thing. “whoo do you love?” …sometimes it’s good to love your true self…right here, right now! πŸ™‚

  344. Just because someone beat me to my husbands favourite piece of advice: Never eat yellow snow!!!
I’ll have to share one of my own:
I have recently realised that certain people are only interested in causing drama worthy of the latest high school based tv show. So my advice is to put time and energy into building friendships with the people who want only the best for you. The hard (but important) part is to do this without creating drama yourself and remain the bigger person by letting them destroy their own reputation without your help…

  345. My little owl’s words of wisdom would echo Grandma Moses…”Life is what we make it. Always has been, always will be…” We have experienced a very long, hard winter in our Tennessee mountains, and just a day or two ago, I put on my beautiful sweet & simple birdie necklace and I could feel spring coming! That little act changed my day. You reflect my little owl’s wisdom so many times when I read your inspiring blog ~ like your post right before this about giving up on perfection…it really is up to us…God gives us free will to have a positive attitude (and life!!) Thanks for touching our hearts and our minds with your perfect pieces of jewelry!

  346. Love it! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Seek her as silver and search for her as hidden treasure. Have a wonderful day with your family. I love the simpleness of your blog.

  347. Show kindness every day to someone who doesn’t expect it – a smile to a stranger or a chocolate to a friend…
    I LOVE the owl…

  348. Treat your children like you’re always out in public! If you wouldn’t do it in front of others….don’t do it when you’re not! RESPECT them!!! Love the new necklace!!!

  349. oh my….think i may need this….i love your stuff!!!so…i could win somethey for a word of wisdom…
the best thing i ever read in regards to my children was…
everytime you look at them smile…
this piece of wisdom was really life changing for me…sounds simple, but its a magical piece of wisdom….
    take care

  350. A wise old owl sat on an oak,
The more he saw the less he spoke,
The less he spoke the more he heard,
Why aren`t we more like that wise old bird?

  351. Just lessons from the book of Mark, followed by a wonderful idea. The cure for suffering is to serve others. Hard to suffer in sadness when you are focused on the needs of someone else. Now that is good medicine. πŸ™‚

  352. I love owls, I love my family, and I love your jewelry!! πŸ˜€ Wisdom? For me lately it all comes in the form of being more concious of the energy I’m creating within me and around me. Whether my thoughts are positive, and if not looking at where the feelings behind those thoughts are coming from. We are what we think!

  353. Love the Necklace. Love all your jewelry

Bit of Wisdom? “Live your life in such a way, that those who know you, but dont’ know God, will come to know God because they know you”
    deezie

  354. My words of wisdom (from the great Tom Robbins) is “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood!”

  355. In the midst of the chaos that is my life with a toddler, I try to think ahead 15 years and remind myself how much I’ll miss these crazy moments when I’m dealing with a teenager instead! So my best (relevant to my life right now) is to enjoy every moment!

  356. Oh, I love it! I love that it has the second little pendant on there as well! I’ve been thinking about getting one of your necklaces, but we’re currently ttc, and I wouldn’t want to leave baby out, so this would be perfect, I could just add him/her on later! Would you be able to do that? That would be kinda neat.

    A bit of Wisdom, eh????

Well, here’s one for you, that I’ve had to tell my daughter now that we live in Alaska:

    NEVER eat yellow snow! NEVER!!!!

    πŸ™‚ Hehehehe

  357. gorgeous!

bit of wisdom – take it one day at a time – i struggle with this, but trying to live in the moment frees us from the fears and worries about the what-ifs and from getting stuck in the past.

  358. I love your stuff! So cute! I’m getting married in July and am looking for special handmade gifts to give my bridesmaids. Your necklaces were already on my shortlist, but then I saw your owl and he is just adorable – my maid of honour recently sent me a card with an owl on it just like him so I think he’d be just perfect!
I love so many of your pieces I just have to remember that I’m buying for them & not myself (but there’s always Christmas!)
Keep up the good work, & bring on the Spring!

  359. You are so creative! Your jewelry blows me away! I just celebrated my 25th anniversary and my hubby bought me a beautiful diamond and aquamarine necklace to represent he and my kids.. I love it, I truly do and it’s a beautiful representation of our 25 years together. I’m not a very glitzy person, however, and wonder how long I should wait to show him what I’d like for my next anniversary!!!!! I have 4 of yours picked out and I’m thinking of making a “gift idea notebook”. what do you think??????
I would love to be entered into your give away, but even if I don’t win, I’m going to have one of these someday soon!!!
    Blessings!
