Oh friends! I have a fun giveaway today!

I think that paint and area rugs are the most affordable ways to make a BIG impact on a room. I’ve got to tell you, I can’t believe how bright and happy this little rug makes our family room.

The colors are fun, but not too crazy. They blend well with my brown sofas, afghans and painted coffee table.

Aren’t these lamps fun? A Target find.

I really really really want to paint our built in shelves white. I feel confident it will happen one of these days! The vintage crate was an etsy find–and it’s from Steve’s family’s vineyard in the Fresno area. So cool.

It’s photographs that personalize the space. This picture of baby David, just a few weeks old, completely melts my heart.

Vintage paintings and books add texture to the room.

This rug is soft–we all love the way it feels.

We’ve got a fruit wall–I’m thinking this will change soon as winter comes. The watercolor cards are painted by my talented twin sis.

In the hallway I’ve got a collage with our new paper collection. This poster and this card are awesome!

This moment is wonderful and wild. It’s imperfect and beautiful. And I want to be present in it!
