I love this red dress! I made myself think outside of the box to style it three ways. I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration.
The first outfit is the most casual. The second is fun and playful. And for the last look, I layered on a blue coat with a gray scarf for coziness.
So let’s start at the beginning! The first look is super easy and casual. I layered a gray sweatshirt and denim jacket over the dress and slipped on my favorite boots.
Mornings here on the coast of central California have been chilly–so layering is a must.
I’ve had these boots for about 4 years and they just get better! Although I think it may be time have them re-soled. Have you ever had boots re-soled?
This pretty little necklace is available today only! Love it.
The next look is so fun! I layered an olive green faux leather jacket and cozy scarf over the dress.
I love this little necklace paired with the fur trim on this scarf–such a fun mix!
The second look is finished with leopard print heels.
The last look is the most out of the box for me. I layered a blue, wool coat and thick gray scarf over the dress.
Matching the heels to the coat makes the look come together, don’t you think?

Loving all three of these looks but especially the sweatshirt one! Such a great idea to “dress down” a dress and give it a totally different feel. Plus, a dress is so much more comfortable (to me) than jeans! 🙂
I just re-soled two of my boots and I went to TNT boot repair in Morro Bay. They are friendly, family ran and inexpensive! I highly recommend them:)

That dress is adorable, Lisa. I love the different ways you styled it…especially with the blue. Just went over to the Target website to order it and the red isn’t available. I’m ordering blue!! We are going to San Diego at the end of January and this will be handy to have.
