Seen here and there {magazine features}

Well friends, it’s been an incredible season for us. We’re in the midst of having our strongest holiday season ever and I am so thankful! Also, we’ve been featured in some FABULOUS magazines this month. I am so humbled to see these–and so grateful! Take a look!

Celebrate Magazine has a gorgeous feature on the ‘Celebrate Cake Topper‘ and Numbered Wine Charms. I loved how they used the topper in cheese. Wouldn’t this be perfect for a wine and cheese party? I love it! Thank you Celebrate Magazine–we love you!

American Baby Magazine featured our molded heart ornament. We’ve had a hard time keeping these in stock–they’ve gone crazy! Have you picked out a special ornament for 2012?

Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine featured our Heartstrings Wall Hanging. This was one of my favorite magazine when my boys were babies–so this feature makes my heart happy!

Romantic Homes featured our Pretty Like A Bow Necklace. This necklace is such a statement piece–and super sweet. Thank you Romantic Homes! We are so grateful!

Where Women Cook Magazine featured our ‘Feed Your Soul’ necklace. This necklace has been one of our most popular. It’s available as part of our boutique collection at Earth Angels Studios. They did a full page feature–and we love it! This magazine is a favorite. Yay!

Have you seen the recent SLO Life magazine issue? We live in San Luis Obispo, and it’s a well loved local magazine. I had to laugh, because the cover is almost life size. 😉 So far I’ve been recognized at the Gap, the thrift store and the grocery store. I am so honored to be in this magazine. They did a full interview that talks about our workshop and family. You can read the article here.

I am so grateful {and kind of in shock!} about these features. It’s amazing–I don’t deserve it.

Confession–I’m a total magazine junkie! Are you? What are your favorite magazines?

  1. I love house beautiful and veranda. I tear out my favorite pages and put them in my own personalized “magazine” (beautiful presentation books from Barnes and Noble). I got the idea to tear out pages from a Hollywood Housewife post – now I can look at my favorite pages all in one place and cut down on clutter!

  2. I so love that your business has grown, and grown into a family business. a true blessing! my favorite magazines have mostly gone by the wayside (cottage living and mary englebreit’s home companion)(and old, old martha stewart living). I still love sunset, but with 5 littles, i don’t have time to read much anyway, so that’s ok for now :).

  3. I read the article all the way over here across the country in New York (Long island). It was fabulous! My favorite magazines are BHG and Real Simple and Oprah.

  4. So happy for you, Lisa! I hope you get to take some time off after the holidays and bask in it all!! With some magazines, naturally! My faves are Sunset and Martha Stewart Living, though I subscribe to way more. Time to simplify and tone it down…I may just keep those two. Those are the ones that get my heart beating when I open the mail box!
So happy to see my fave necklace that I love to layer (“Feed Your Soul”) in a full page ad!

  5. I loved the article, Lisa, and I love the way you have stayed humble and real. As for magazines, I just discovered The Food Network mag. I broke my wrist last week and can’t do a lot of the things that normally fill up my days. So my 12 yo daughter and I have been watching cooking shows on the Food Network (fave is Barefoot Contessa!). Now a side effect of my broken wrist is that everyone in my family will gain ten pounds apiece!

  6. Lovely article, Lisa! Thanks for being so open and honest about your life. I still remember my mom mentioning a “Lisa Leonard” 6.5 years ago when I was planning for my wedding. A new couple to our church that she wanted to give business to. I remember going to your house and designing my jewelry with you on your couch. 🙂 I feel honored to have known you in those early days. 🙂

  7. What an honor to be recognized for the beautiful work you do!
I love magazines!! I have so many and so little time to read them all! I love the home magazines: HGTV, House Beautiful; Architectural Digest.

  8. yes you do deserve it!

what comes around goes around – your heart, intent and grace always permiates and I am sure those who know you in real life feel the same – so this exposure is timely and very much deserved – in my humble opinon that is!!

    😉

  9. Hi Lisa: Wasn’t sure where to post this. I have bought a number of things from your shop – love them all! This Christmas I was really looking for a new home ornament and wondered if you have thought of making one some time. Sure would love it. Just an idea! Have a wonderful Christmas with your special family!

  12. Congrats on the features, Lisa! You totally deserve it. The SLO Life interview was really interesting to read. Does it feel odd to be recognized while you’re out and about?
