lindsey + brendan

a couple weeks ago lindsey and brendan tied the knot. their wedding was absolutely beautiful and charming.

the colors were aqua and red. so yeah, i was in love.

so many creative touches made the day feel personal. windows were hung with childhood pictures and there was a spot to leave notes of encouragement for the newlyweds.

they asked people to bring baked goods for the dessert tables and everything i sampled was incredible {and i may have sampled a few!}

aren’t they darling?! weddings are such a sweet time. the beginning of something new.

they had goldfish crackers to keep the kiddos happy. and that’s our pennant banner hung across the birdcage. so fun!

yep, looks like the kids had a blast. at this point the bride and groom were doing their first dance and all the kids were yelling ‘kiss her, kiss her!’

congratulations, lindsey and brendan! the day was magical and i wish you happiness.

  1. What a beautiful wedding!!! Love all the colors. This has also reminded me to get back to my hillbilly roots and to start using mason jars more often. 🙂

  2. These are beautiful pictures, and what a beautiful couple. I am so happy to see that they are still having weddings at the Jack House. I went to one there, oh, almost 30 years ago!

  3. Nice pictures, Lisa. I loved the decorations and all the fun things they had around. It was such a blessing to be able to come up and share the day with Lindsey and Brendan. And I can’t believe I missed writing a note. I was there a little early so didn’t see the table. I should have known there was something and should have looked around. Oh, well.

  4. Thank you! Got a few more ideas for decorating my brother’s outdoor wedding – love the ball jars! I’m decorating in 2 weeks – beach theme!

  5. Love the kids…smiling and cute and so nice that they were included and had so much fun. The simplicity was refreshing…I agree…so many times people overdo it!
    From the looks of your beautiful photos…everyone had a great time and things looked perfect.

  6. LOVE LOVE LOVE this wedding. I think my favorite thing, aside from your gorgeous creations adding the perfect finishing touch, were the flower jars hung from I assume trees?! Adorable…and the windows with pictures…love it!

  9. Those pictures are gorgeous, Lisa! If you ever clone yourself then one of you needs to be a wedding photographer!! Love the colour combos 🙂

  10. Beautiful! So simple and so beautiful! I love the mason jars with the flowers, and love your “to have & to hold” pennant. What a beautiful celebration!

  12. What a beautiful wedding and I love the colors…it’s so refreshing to see such beautiful and special weddings without all the crazines that happens on the east coast…our weddings in the new york area are just so crazy, the true meaning is so lost…
