  1. We will probably just be thankful for the day. Since it is a work day for hubby, probably just a quiet dinner at home. I have hearts all over my house so I am constantly reminded of valentines. If I am energized enough, maybe I’ll do something special to surprize my husband. I also am sending my mom a card, and daughter, son a card. I love to send cards to them too! Hope your day is full of hearts and special moments with your three boys

  2. I make & decorate cookies with our boys to take to their school parties…thinking this year we will just make oreo truffles! And we always make extra for Dad 🙂

  3. Valentine’s Day is my sister’s birthday, so we usually celebrate with the family. The day almost feels like a second Christmas with all the love flowing.

  4. I will spend the day at school with my students. It’s a fun day with lots of candy, gifts, and balloons. Then I’ll go home to my kids and husband. We’ll make a special dinner and spend time together.

  5. My motto is live love laugh – and whilst being the best mother and wife I can, and friend – I storm through the loss of my parents and most of the close people I’ve had, by showing my girls that love – love gets you through it all. Valentine’s is the time to share their live with their friends and family – and that that one day is the day of unity =) xo

  6. I am planning to spend valentine’s day with all the boys – my husband and our two boys! We will make special brownie treats for dessert!

  7. Oh so pretty! Love the buttons!

I have no plans yet! Hubby and I really don’t celebrate with a date that night. Except we do something special for us at home!

  8. We’ll be spending the days prior making the annual Valentine’s Day mailbox for the school V-day swap. Not to forget helping the kids write our thier little cards and taping on treats. Then the kids and I make heart shaped cookies for the neighbors and for ourselves too. Yum!

  9. haven’t made any plans yet but it will likely be pretty low-key. I always make salisbury steak for my boys and my sweetie in heart shaped patties to celebrate V-day. Everyone gets a small box of chocolates and a hand-made card from me. For dessert it’s usually brownies with ice cream or chocolate chip cookies.

  10. Home made Valentines for my husband and kids. My husband’s favorite dinner and a home made cheesecake of his choice!

  11. We usually have a special dinner which includes lots of candle light (my daughter’s favorite thing) and a special Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie from Baskin Robbins.

  12. I’m not entirely sure, but I know it will start with a decorated breakfast table for my 3 girls and heart shaped pancakes with chocolate chips…a tradition!

  13. I’m spending Valentines Day volunteering to watch all the kiddos at church so their parents can enjoy a nice dinner at the church. Sure to be fun!

  14. It will be mid winter break here in Michigan and that means Grandma will have our kids for a long weekend! My husband and I look forward to this time of sleeping in, going out to dinner and catching up on movies we have wanted to see. We celebrate for a whole weekend! And it’s even sweeter this year that it falls on Valentines day:-)

  15. We will make some fun crafts and have heart shaped cookies. Hopefully, my hubby and I will get dinner out within a week of Valentine’s. 🙂

  16. with lots of hugs and kisses, reminding those i love that today (and every day) they are special to me!

    oh…and a lot of chocolate! :o)

  17. After working the school parties for my 2 girls, I’m sure I’ll come home and make dinner. Dessert will include some sort of heart shaped goodies (chocolate I’m sure). Love the new bracelet.

  18. I spend the day with my husband & three sweet girls. We send the girls on a treasure hunt to find a box filled with dollar store goodies. Then the hubby & I get a sitter and head out for much needed alone time!

  19. My husband and I have been making each other Valentine’s cards since we met (20 years ago gulp!) and his wedding proposal came that way so definitely home made cards! I am also felting my two little boys Valentine’s mice this year – not sure why mice but they will have heart shaped noses!

  20. Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday this year, i plan on making it an extended weekend event — I’ll serve champagne with dinner Sat.-Sun.-Monday and make some special sweets — tuxedo strawberries, perhaps a cake or pie. I’d like to tackle something that I’ve never made before, like beef wellington or shrimp scampi — something a little fancy.

  21. My husband is in Iraq, but my daughter and I will probably make special treats in every shade of pink and visit an elderly lady near us who just lost her husband.

  22. My hubby will just be getting back from Africa, so we will just enjoy a nice, quiet evening at home together with a special meal and some time to catch up with one another….

  23. I plan on taking some time off of work to attend and help with my kids class Valentine’s Party and decorating heart cookies with them that evening.

  24. With work schedules, my hubby and I don’t get as much time together as we’d like. I’m looking forward to spending the time with him, whatever we are doing, where ever we are…

  25. We always take a mini vacation on Valentine’s weekend with our three kiddos. We look forward to it all year long.

  26. Children have taught me more about love than I could have imagined! I don’t think I would ever understand God’s love if I didn’t have children. We’ll have a special Valentine’s day together with a litlle gift waiting for the children when they wakeup, like my mother used to do for us. Of course chocolate will be involved at some point.

  27. It’s a tradition in our house that my husband makes a special dinner for us. He always goes with seafood…until last years crablegs leaked into unknown areas of our fridge and no matter how much cleaning it reeked for months-lol.
This year we’ll be doing ribs I believe and probably make sugar cookies again and maybe rent a movie (no school that day!)

  28. I will be baking our traditional heart sugar cookies…fun food for the kids…sometimes my hubby and I go out to eat but we usually spend the day as a family:)

  29. I am planning on spending it eating a lovely dinner at a little bistro. Dinner for two will be lovely when we have been eating so well-our news years resolution. We can splurge on a few extra calories-maybe even have some sweet desert!

  30. don’t have plans yet but we are pretty easy, nothing to grand but i just read one of the comments about writing love letters to each other which sounds like such a sweet idea!!

  31. We’ll have a fun dinner with the kids and save our date night for a time when the restaurants aren’t packed full.

  32. I will be hopefully snuggled up with my honey watching a movie. However, I am planning on making him a card out of candy wrappers. It will say something then “hot tamales” or “sweet tarts” will somehow find their way in there. It’s gonna rock.

  33. I’ll be hangin’ with my kiddos eating heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. We’ll have a ncie family dinner with a special dessert that the kids will help out with. Lots of love involved (eating, too!!).

  34. My husband has a conference out of town so we’re going to get a hotel and enjoy a few days away! We haven’t done anything like this since I was pregnant with our first kiddo, I can’t wait!

  35. One favorite tradition our family loves on Valentine’s Day is giving each other “heart attacks” with heart-shaped sticky notes. We leave them in dad’s car covered with love messages, on bathroom mirrors, bed pillows, in the kids’ lunchboxes, etc. It’s a fun way to celebrate & express love.

  36. Just getting back to basics…we’ve had a lot of stress lately with medical/fertility issues, so we’re just gonna relax and enjoy what we have right now…each other ; )

  37. I hope to spend Valentines day making fun crafty things with my kids to give to those we love. Then, I think we should end the day with a good family dinner and yummy pink cupcakes with sprinkles!!

I LOVE your button bracelet too! What a cute creation!

  38. You know, I’m not too big on V-day. The family wears red or pink, we have cupcakes for dessert {sometimes preceded by dinner out} and my valentine is usually the little boys I baby-sit. 😉
But, my V-day would be so much more special if I won!
    Sarah-Anne

  39. My daughter and I are going to make Valentine cookies for her first preschool class party and homemade Valentines for her classmates. This may seem normal for most, but for us it is 15 years in the making.
My husband and I were told after numerous failed IVF attempts that children were not a possibility for us. The closer I got to forty, the more I believed them. But God had a different plan. Fifteen years later, he blessed us with a beautiful baby girl. We enjoy every moment that we have with her, so making Valentines is an answered prayer.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your family!

  40. We’ll probably leave out little treats for the kids to discover in the morning. And of course, we’ll give them lots of hugs & kisses – just what Valentine’s Day is all about!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  41. Valentine’s Day means sweet treats for my two little boys and sharing a bottle of fantastic wine with my husband.

More important than anything, it means celebrating love and the ones I that hold dear. They are the sweet in my life and I cherish every day.

  42. I will be home with my girls and make them a valentines dinner then let them help me make a valentine themed dessert- their favorite part. My hubs works really late so he doesn’t eat dinner w/ us, but I’ll be sure to spoil my two girls- then save some dessert for the hubs. 🙂

  43. My Valentine is my 5-year-old daughter. We have a tradition of hosting a little girls’ Valentine’s party. The first year was a princess theme and the girls decorated their own cupcakes. Last year, was a Fancy Nancy party and we made Valentines. This year is going to be an American Girl Doll party. I have little tiaras for the dolls and plan to have the girls make special head bands. I can’t wait!

  44. We will have a nice dinner at home and if it is not raining her we will go for a family hike (which will be a big deal since I just hurt my back and can not wait to be able to walk with out pain again!!!). Valentines is just a time to be with those we love so much!!!

  45. I’m glad that Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday this year since we can all be home together for dinner – no dance classes or other activities on that night of the week. Pasta and my older daughter’s favorite brownies are on the menu – and we’ll light candles on the table and dim the lights to make it a special family dinner. I love any time we spend together as a family! Fiona

  46. This year, my Valentine’s day will be special. For the first time of my live, i’m in love with someone who really love me ! This is so precious to me.

We will be together, listening to our best music with wine and good food !!!

This will be the best day before our wedding in July…

    Nathalie-Catherine from Québec City 😉

  47. love this new design Lisa! this valentine’s day will be unique for me. i will spend the morning with my hubby then i will fly to FL to spend a week with my parents & baby sis. hoping for lots of time on the beach reconnecting with my precious family. been waiting for this opportunity for 2+ years! so fun!

  48. My hubby and I plan to celebrate Valentines Day at a little bed and breakfast. For the alone time together. In our own town:) We can’t get away for long, but it will be worth it!

  49. Love the new button braclet! This Valentine’s Day will be spent with my sweet husband and our precious little granddaughter, Mary Margaret! We will take her to her favorite restaurant….McDONALD’S! Then on another night, my husband and I will have dinner at Longhorn’s….

  50. This year will be a mellow Valentines Day, since our second baby is due the next week! As long as he doesn’t come early, my hubby and I will sneak away for a date- probably the last with just the two of us for a while 🙂

If he joins us early, then we will celebrate loving on our new little guy!

  51. We have a nice dinner together with our little girl Karleigh. I make heart shaped cookies and treat bags for all her little friends at the baby-sitters

  52. still recovering from my knee surgery, we will be taking it easy this Valentine’s day. a bottle of wine, good company, and a “challenging” game of UNO looks to be in the cards this year.

hope you are having a lovely weekend!! thanks so much for the opportunity!

    xoxo,
    Bonnie

  53. We don’t usually celebrate valentine’s day, but this will be the last Vday as fiance/fiancee before we get married (April), so maybe we’ll go to our date spot where we first fell in love, and then cook dinner together 🙂

  54. Wow, I honestly don’t know… hang on a sec while I ask Hubby…

We’re not sure we’ll have a sitter ON V-day so we’ll probably go out on the 13th and beat the crowds, then spend the 14th at home with our lovely kids!

  55. Valentine’s Day is a major holiday at our home. This year will be our 40th wedding anniversary and my daughter’s 27th birthday (also the 15th is my granddaughter’s 7th birthday). We plan on spending the day with family…

I am blessed. thank you for the chance to win a gift certificate.

  66. We will be having a candelight dinner as a family and enjoying some homemade gluten free tiramisu (I hope) and time with the ones we love most.

  67. Each year we get dressed up and have a delightful dinner at home that my husband has made. This year I have class from 4-7 that night and I won’t get home until nearly 8. Maybe we’ll have to do it the night before or after instead.

  68. My daughter will make homemade valentines for her classmates, I will make homemade valentines for my students, then we’ll spoil my husband silly at dinnertime since he takes such great care of us every day of the year.

  70. Due to the economy and the need for a paycheck, my husband works out of state. He’s able to come home every 2 – 3 weeks. Yesterday, (Jan. 22nd) was our 28th wedding anniversary which we celebrated separately. He will be home the weekend before Valentine’s so we will most likely stay at home, grill something special and share our traditional chocolate covered strawberries. He’s my one and only!

  71. My husband works a 14 hour day on Mondays, so we will be celebrating with a romantic meal at home on the Saturday. On Valentine’s day itself I am planning to put all sorts of little notes and hearts for my husband and children to find while they are at work and school and then some “I love you gifts” waiting for them when they get home. My 6 year old twins already have a boyfriend each – very sweet and innocent – so I will have to wait and see what they would like to do for them!!!

  79. I will start celebrating Valentine’s Day early by making crafts next weekend with my daughter to decorate our house. We will also make cards. She loves holidays!!! On Valentine’s Day, we will make a special dinner and pink desserts. After my daughter eats her treats and goes to bed, my hubby and I will have a special candlelight dinner and feast on steak, potatoes, and veggies. We don’t go out anymore since our daughter came and I would not have it any other way. So romantic and cozy. It would be great to have a gift certificate so I could purchase a special item to wear on the 14th. Thanks for the giveaway!

  82. Hoping to just stay home and have a nice night with the whole family. It seems that we have been so busy lately. Time together will be wonderful

  83. I love Valentines day! I will be sending out valentines to my grown up friends. It’s such a great opportunity to tell someone you love them. Oh, and the hubs and I will probably curl up with a movie, once the kiddos go to bed.

  84. Oh, I will give each of my 3 girls a fun treat, and a card for my hubby. He doesn’t like gifts. And, we’ll just be getting our oldest daughter ready for her upcoming dance competition in a few weeks!

  85. As a happy-to-be-single empty-nester – after going to a Valentine’s concert by one of my favorite singer/songwriters over the weekend (along with old college pals), I’ll likely be contentedly snuggled in home alone on the actual Valentine’s Day, sending virtual phone hugs to far-flung kiddos and family.

  86. I’ll be spending every minute with my big love – my goofy four year old son – hopefully cuddling, eating popcorn and watching our favorite movie

  91. My husband and I usually make dinner together or get delicious prepared food from Whole Foods, and we just about always use our fondue pot for dessert– so yummy and fun!

  92. That bracelet is adorable. We will have a quiet family celebration this year. We enjoy everyday love, so we don’t really get into the whole “Valentines day” thing:)

  93. We have four children, so we will have fun making Valentine’s for their classmates and heart shaped cookies to share with family. Our big excitement for the evening might be heart shaped pizza!

  94. We are spontaneous and won’t know till the day arrives, but it will be fabulous! Love your new bracelet!

  95. On Valentines Day I’ll make hubster his favorite dinner (steak of course) and then he apparently has something uber special planned for the following weekend. P.S. I LOVE this bracelet!!

I’ll also probably make him some of his favorite cookies- chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips!

  99. I will be getting my groove on with my kids at their valentines dance. My son has been counting down the days since last years dance, where he pulled out moves I didnt know any 6 year old could have! It took me 2 washes to get his pants clean after break danincing all over the floor. What a fun family time!

  100. I will be getting my groove on with my kids at their valentines dance. My son has been counting down the days since last years dance, where he pulled out moves I didnt know any 6 year old could have! It took me 2 washes to get his pants clean after break danincing all over the floor. What a fun family time!

  101. I will be spending Valentine’s day at home with my husband and daughters. We like to have a nice meal, use the “fancy” dishes and exchange Valentine’s.

  102. This year is going to be very special for us. Our home was flooded last May in Nashville. Our 25th anniversary was August 3, and because of all the work that we were doing on our home we were not able to take the time to celebrate our special day. We joked that we were giving each other a home renovation. We are finally back in our home and are getting back on our feet again. I want this Valentine’s Day to be very special. I’m trying to find a bed & breakfast closeby that we can get away to and focus on each other for a weekend. I love my husband so much. He is definitely God’s gift to me and we are so much in love even after 25 years together.

  103. My husband is gone almost every Valentine’s Day but I have my 3 girls to smother with love. Each year we make the Valentine’s that they exchange at school and then we make some blinged out one for my kitchen windows. Thanks for the chance!

  104. Is it bad that I haven’t even thought about it? I’ll probably make a special dinner and set the table with our best dishes and candlelight.

  105. I tunes cards for my teenagers and some homemade cookies in their lunches. Still thinking of something special for the husband. Maybe I’ll be inspired by all of the comments left for you.

  106. My BFF is getting married this summer and moving and even if i know her soon to be husband will have a Valentine surprise for her, it might be the last year of bff Valentine cards we give each other, the evening we can spend together in the light of candles, talk about life, things we notmaly do not share and pray together. I am really looking forward to this moment.

  107. Oh Lisa, that new button bracelet is just beautiful, very whimsical. Love it.
Valentines is so much fun. Of course I will give my two girls and hubby a small box of candy. We will stay home though, we are homebodies. A nice dinner with a pretty decorated table. Have a great weekend
    deezie

  109. My brother and sister in law are watching our kiddos so we can stay a night in Seattle to celebrate our anniversary! I’m so excited!!!

  110. Valentine’s Day is very low key at our house. I make my hubby heart shaped cupcakes and we usually go out to dinner without the kids…a rare treat!

  111. This single momma will be giving lots of extra hugs to my Valentine (my 3 1/2 year old Sadie). I think we will make and frost cookies to celebrate!

  112. Unfortunately I will be spending Valentines Day alone this year, 🙁 no sweetie to shower in love. But the next best thing is family, so I am planning on taking my mom and aunt on a mani/pedi date! I’m thinking pink polish? 🙂
    Happy V-Day!

  113. My girls and I always put together cute valentines for their classes. I always put together a little gift for my girls including something handmade, last year it was little appliqued heart and doily bags and I filled them with fun things.
As for my hubby and I we always have to get chocolate covered strawberries, or make our own, yum! We usually exchange a small gift if our budget permits, and usually hang out together at home.

  114. I always get flowers from hubby on V-Day, love that! 🙂

me and the girls will decorate the house, we’ll make valentines cards that’ll go with the treats for their classmates and teachers, and have a low-key dinner at home. last year we made heart-shaped red jello and the girls LOVED it, so we’ll probably do it again this year. 🙂

thanks for the giveaway. love the new bracelet!

  115. I think my husband and I are each going to plan half of the day together. It should be fun and interesting to see how we surprise each other. 🙂

I also have some sweet surprises planned for our daughter. I just love Valentine’s Day!

  116. We will be spending Valentine’s Day at home…I am surprising my husband & daughter with a homemade gourmet seafood meal, their favorite!

  117. For valentines day I plan to cook my family(husband, kids, and Mom) a nice meal and smother my kiddos with hugs and kisses 🙂

  118. I have decided to spend Valentine’s with my Sweetheart and kids along with my mom and sister who are so good to me. We all deserve to be together. I plan on trying a new recipe for dinner and leave little notes on the doorstep like we did when we were little. I love Valentine’s day!

  119. My Hubby is military and works really long, CRAZy hours so I’ll be lucky just to see him on Valentine’s day. We’ll probably celebrate on Saturday by getting massages and going out to eat at a fabulous steak place in town!

  120. Fun dinner for the boys. Then after they go to bed mushroom ravioli with Alfredo sauce, Guiness and a movie for the hubby and I.

  121. Valentine’s Day is a full-contact family affair at our house with dinner featuring food we love, people we love and and more sugar than is good for us (but we love it anyways!)

  122. This will be our 31st Valentine’s Day together. Seems like just yesterday we shared our first. With our kids out of the nest & with Valentine sweeties of their own, we’ll each spend a romantic evening with our best friends, each other, wondering how we made it this far, praising God that we did, and wishing for the blessing of another 31. For he is mine and I am his, and the rest, well the rest is only the icing on the cake.

  123. homemade valentines for classmates, family, and friends and definitely something chocolate for us at home. fun & yum!

  124. I haven’t really given it too much thought. As long as I am home with my two favorite guys, my dh and my ds, it will be a great day!

  125. Trying to make it the best Valentine’s day for my sweet girls. Special things like homemade cookies, new books and a sweet card for each of them (maybe even a heart balloon, they love balloons)! Making sweet memories for my sweet babies. 🙂

  126. I’ll be celebrating Valentine’s Day by giving out candy and handmade cards to friends and by going on a date with a good friend! We’re both single and have decided to celebrate it together! Good food, good company..what could be better? xoxo

  127. Valentine’s Day is special to my hubby & I, we had our very first kiss 16 years agos. He handed me a Sweetheart candy that said “kiss me.” So I did. Now two little boys and 15 years of marriage later I plan to smother all three of my boys with lots of kisses.
Sidenote – have you thought of a charm that looks like the Sweetheart candy that can be personlized? Thanks Jodi

  128. We will celebrate with much thankfulness for our family. So much to be grateful for even though there are so many trials we are facing at the moment.

  129. This year is special for us because we’re finally parents. I don’t really care how we spend the night as long as we’re together. We’ll probably spend the night in with some good food, playtime and lots of giggles with our little one.

  130. We haven’t thought that far ahead, but since it will my hubby’s weekend to work, it’ll probably be quiet. Maybe just a pizza/movie night. I hope to go to the kids’ valentines parties at school, but since I just started a new job, I’m not sure I’ll be able to sneak away for that. Fingers crossed!

  131. We are going to celebrate my wonderful husband’s birthday and help our boys practice random acts of love and kindness!

  132. We will be celebrating my 46th Birthday on Valentine’s Day! My husband always makes sure the two “events” are acknowledged separately – he tries to have b’day things and Valentine’s Day things (and they are not all heart-shaped!).

My friends laugh b/c I always decorate the house and have special treats for my husband, 3 kids, friends and family even though it’s my birthday. Now many of them surprise their husbands and children with sweet treats! Peer pressure!

I look for “heart-shaped” things on sale after Christmas to give for Valentine’s treats to friends, too!
AND – there’s lots of RED stuff marked-down after Christmas which makes it easy to stock-up!

Thanks for the opportunity to talk about one of my favorite days of the year!

  133. Hoping for lots of hugs, love, and squeezes on Valentine’s day with my three little sweeties. Probably some craft making and cookie baking are in order.
As for the evening, I have no idea what our plans are.. my husband loves a good surprise. Whatever it is, I can’t wait for the time with him! 🙂

  134. This Valentines Day is my first as a mummy! It also marks 8 years of being with my husband. So we plan to stay home and enjoy our first Valentines Day as a family xx

  135. We will celebrate Valentine’s Day by delaying it until March with a trip to OUR favorite getaway. THAT is more special than all the commercialism of the day!!!!
We will have a nice quiet dinner the 14th <3

  136. Due to not having a lot of money this year, we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day at home with our three beautiful young children. I am going to have my 2 and 3 year old make cookies and hand them out to our neighbors (we did this last year and I don’t know who was happier, our neighbors or my children)…

  137. I will have to be very creative this year, considering my family is on a VERY tight budget…so it looks like we will have a candlelit dinner…rented movie…and homemade sweets…and of course, I am so glad & blessed that we have each other <3 Thank you for the chance at such a wonderful giveaway! Happy early Valentine's Day!

  138. i plan to celebrate valentines day with my man & little girl. we will probably have a special movie night and i have gifts for them. my older boys have plans & is too old to hang out with mom & dad on valentines day. lol

    nicolepipkin{AT}gmail{DOT}com

  139. I get to celebrate Valentine’s day with my man and our 6 month old nugget. I’m going to try and make some chocolate covered potato chips. Salty and sweet!

  140. I’m hoping to spend some quiet quality time with the hubby and spend time with my little kiddos making sugar cookies.

  141. I will be working on Valentine’s Day but I get to share love with all the hurting people that come to the ER that day.

  142. I’ve enjoyed reading the responses of others … I will be gathering with friends and we’re making a “red” dinner — items will be red (red sauce with heart noodles, salad with red peppers, red drinks, etc.)

  143. I will be spending it with my husband of 14 years and our 9 year old daughter. We always make it family valentines date!

  144. Our famiy will celebrate the blessings of love from our God above. Hopefully, we will attend a night class on our path to becoming foster/resource parents. Our home may increase in size. More love to go around.

  145. I love Valentines day, but cant stand the crowds so we stay home and enojoy a low key evening with a nice homecooked meal and something delicious for dessert, of course.
I dont think my 15 month old appreciates holidays just yet, but I cant wait till he is old enough to make homemade valentines and decorate cookies with me!

  146. Will be watching some of my grandkids so my daughter & husband can go out on a “date night” – we’ll make valentine’s for mom and dad!

  147. We plan on celebrating the little things…you know the things that often get overlooked, forgotten or taken for granted. I will be celebrating the little things my husband does for me and our daughter…that we don’t thank him enough for…and vice versa…no big material gifts this year – just gifts from the heart. <3

Thanks for the chance to win and Happy Heart Day to everyone!!!

  148. I will be on a love, sex and dating camp with middle schoolers that weekend.

I think I should get extra credit for that! My husband (youth pastor) and I will be celebrating the following week, if we’re not too tired!

  149. More than likely as we always do…chinese food take out with our two boys. We have done it this way since they were little…sometimes even with candlelight!

  150. This will be my first Valentines Day alone after 6 years in a relationship. And I have class from 4-8, so I am hoping it goes by quickly. But my parents will celebrate 27 years of marriage that day too. Something to smile about.

  151. I’ll spend some time on Valentine’s Day baking treats with my little ones. Thanks for the chance to win!

  152. It will be a day of fun with my 7month old grandson, A lot of kissing and hugging but that will be nothing out of the ordanary I do that every day now. I will make cookies for him to give his mom and dad and maybe some chocolates. Love the new bracelate. It right up my alley. I work out of the home and do alterations for people especially wedding parties. Love that I can stay home and work when I want.

  153. My husband and I have never celebrated Valentine’s Day as we always saw it as a “Hallmark” holiday. However, now that we a have a little boy I see it differently. I can’t wait to celebrate this year. Decorating the house, making cookies together, sending out handmade Valentine’s Day cards to friends……maybe a heart shaped pizza for dinner. I can’t stop adding to my “To Do” list. I’m so excited!!!
BTW-I love the new button bracelet!

  154. Valentine’s Day will be a busy family day this year – two classroom parties, gymnastics, and an evening 4-H meeting. I will have a lot of baking to do to make special treats for each activity….but thankfully I have excellent kitchen help (my 7, 5 and 3 year old children). It will be a team effort making the heart-shaped hand decorated sugar cookies for the parties. My husband and children will each receive their own personalized heart cookie as my homemade Valentine for each of them. This is a tradition my grandmother started when I was a young child…I still savor those sweet memories and hope my children will do the same!

  155. During the day I get to my son’s school for his Valentine’s day party at night having a family game night with the boy’s and hubby !!!

  156. This year we will celebrate at home enjoying the few moments that we get together! My husband is working two jobs right now until the end of February so we will enjoy an evening at home!!

  157. Hubby and I celebrate anniversary week before every year so we always take Valentines Day to love on our kids. We take them to a nice dinner. Buy them a little gift.

  158. Valenetine’s Pajama Breakfast at work (I’m a children’s librarian) with my kids in attendance! I have some fun crafts in mind that I want to do with my daughter to decorate the house, and I’d love to make some heart cookies too. We’ll probably have a nice family dinner that night – maybe by candelight to make it fancy!

  159. This Valentine’s Day will be mine and my husband’s 7th anniversary. We will make Valentine’s goodies with our kids, and that night, we will go out to dinner. 🙂

  160. Since Valentines is on a Monday and the kids and my hubby has work/school. I will probably spend the morning with my youngest daughter (we have 4 kids) maybe we will have some heart shaped pancakes and do valentines day crafts with her and the little boy Jake I babysit. I will also make my honey his fav dinner and pamper him when he gets home from work. (BTW I love all your stuff and I asked hubby to get me the button bracelet for my bday which is feb 3rd.) I even posted it to my facebook lol

  161. I loved that my birthday was close to Valentine’s Day as a kid. Perfect excuse for a pink birthday cake and heart candy as party favors! These days we keep Valentines low key and will probably just snuggle up with our two puppies.

  162. I always like to decorate my home with hearts — helps get through the long, dreary winter — and I would love to win your giveaway!!!!

  163. I will be spending Valentines Day with my new husband – our first married Valentines Day together! Your jewelry is beautiful! I love the new button bracelet.

  164. We’ll spend daytime in our studies
    and orchestra rehearsals…
and our evening with the family, we’ll enjoy
individual italian meatloaves, baked in mini heart-shaped pans…
    roasted lemon potatoes & asparagus…
    and a salad vinaigrette

all served with love ♥ & candlelight,
    of course.

  165. I will be spending it with my family, making dinner for the 3 loves of my life! I would so love to win one of your gift certificates, I know exactly what I would buy, the ‘one little word’ necklace, for sure!

  166. Spending it with the 3 men in my life, my husband and 2 boys enjoying their company, having dinner and watching a movie

  167. I have plans to spend it with my one my only, my best friend and roommate Rachel. We’ll probably watch something on Netflix and eat Cafe Rio. Sounds like a great day personally.

  168. Valentine’s Day this year will likely be a special dinner and dessert at home with the kids- making it special on the cheap.
I think Carol @6:37 should definitely win one. I love her comment!

  169. Valentine’s Day will be spent with my two boys: Ken – my hubby and Kenneth Ray my baby boy (ok he’s 13 but will always be my baby) The 14th is a Monday so I will cook a yummy dinner and the three of us will hang out and celebrate together.

  170. Gosh I wish I could be that organized to know what we would be doing on Valentines day. I know we will be together and we will be eating something not at home 🙂

  171. This year will be a first for us (after 38 years). We will actually be celebrating Valentines’ Day. We have recently been working on a complete makeover of our very tired marriage and God has met us and done the work!

  172. Oh my goodness I had completely forgotten about V-day coming up! I feel like I am living in a compete bubble with our new son. If hubby and I can cook something nice together without fear of being awoken by a little cry from the baby bedroom (can you imagine the little stomach sink as you hear that first peep!), then we will count ourselves lucky.

  173. I’m planning on small gestures of friendship & love for friends, family & strangers… handmade gifts, snail mail & hand-baked goodness.

  174. We will spend Valentines Day at home. This is what we usually do. Each of the kids gets a gift, something small, but something that is important to them. Care packages will be sent to the two older kids, one in college, the other stationed in Texas with the US Army.

  175. Well, my husband and I aren’t sure yet. But I do know that about a week prior to Valentine’s Day is my daughters 1st birthday and so that will be a big event with family and friends. So I am sure that by the time Valentine’s Day rolls around we may just want to hang out and relax at home together as a family. So needless to say I would LOVE a gift certificate to your store to get myself a new necklace with my daughter’s name, Taylor, on it to celebrate a wonderful and blessed 1st year! 🙂

  176. We will be having a special family dinner, my three year old already picked out special place mats and has requested spaghetti and meatballs and chocolate for dessert.

  177. My husband & I will be flying home from Scotland on Valentines Day! This will be our first trip away since we’ve had kids (almost 5 years now)…I am SO excited!!!

  178. We are totally laying low these year with no presents because we are saving for a cruise but the one thing we both agreed to do was to write a card to each other with a well thought out message on why we love each other. I thought that was meaningful.

  179. Hopefully, V Day will include a nice quiet dinner with my husband and phone or video chats with out-of-town kids and grandchildren. Miss them!

  180. So funny that my hubby & I were JUST talking Valentine’s Day menu right before I came here! Nice meal at home with our daughter… homemade clam chowder (super thick), scallops sauteed in butter & garlic, cheesy garlic bread on sourdough french bread, greek salad, heart shaped cake 🙂

  181. I will make heart sugar cookies with my girls (twins) while their baby brother naps and that evening after the littles go to sleep hubs and I will have a quiet evening, maybe watch a movie.

  182. We will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a nice dinner then chocolate covered potato chips for dessert. My mom always mails my husband and me two boxes from a specialty store in my hometown. Two boxes because I don’t really like to share my chocolate. My kids will also get a package in the mail with assorted Valentine’s Day goodies from grama. She’s so awesome like that!

  183. Spending February 11th at our favorite Italian restaurant to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. 🙂 No special plans on Valentine’s Day itself, boo Mondays! Thanks for the great giveaway, as always!

  184. Hooray for giveaway! (: Hoping hubby and I will get a nice dinner out, just the two of us – Maybe the “Dog and Duck” pub – a fun place to get a burger and beer, and maybe throw a few darts!

  185. I’ll be spending Valentine’s Day with my sweet husband and sweet little boys. Valentine’s Day has changed since we’ve had kiddos, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  186. I plan on spending Valentine’s Day with my family at another doctor appointment to check up on our ever growing boy/girl twins in my belly. Should be awesome!

  187. Ahhh…Vamultimes Day….as my 4 year old says. Copied all of your fabulous mantle decorating ideas, and added a few touches of my own. Loving my Valentine decor!!! Celebrating at home with the family, and always have some chocolate covered strawberries….we all love them!

  188. This may sound odd, but we are celebrating with my mother-in-law. Her birthday is on Valentines Day and for her birthday she wanted to come see her grandkids. So, hubby and I may get an actual date night and she will get her birthday wish!

  189. We’ll be curling up in front of the fireplace with a lovely dinner on our laps – all home made goodness!

Home is where our hearts are – and with each other! Thanks for the give-away, Lisa! May you and yours have a lovely Valentine’s Day…

  190. I love Valentine’s Day…such a sweet holiday!! We will probably start out the day with heart shaped pancakes and fresh fruit. Throw a little crafting in there and school{at home}. We’ll do dinner at home, most likely, and have brownies for dessert!! Then, I’ll make my husband watch a sappy movie. 😉
Thanks for the giveaway!! I *need* a motherly necklace…
    Elise

  191. I will be spending valentines day at home with my new baby, husband and son. I will probably start the day off with a valentines craft for my 2 1/2 year old and follow that with lots of hugs and kisses.

  192. I am thinking of throwing a sweet little party for my 4 kids and a few of their friends. The hubs and I don’t attempt to get out for dinner on that day since it is usually packed! We spend the evening in bed watching a movie instead!

  193. We go away every President’s weekend with some of our dearest friends and it is always around Valentine’s Day. The guys always cook breakfast as our treat. It really is a gift from the heart…the food is less than desirable.

  194. My kiddos will be searching for their valentines on a scavenger hunt and hopefully the hubby and I will go on a date, a much needed date. 😉

  195. As always I will be focused on birthdays – my Father-in-law’s bday is Valentine’s day, my younger daughter will celebrate her 6th on the 19th and then my birthday is the 23rd. with her fairy party to organize i can see myself making lots of martha stewart’s flower pom poms on V day to decorate at the party!

    love the new bracelet too!

  196. I hope to actually get my husband to go out or do something for Valentines day! He usually doesn’t like to but this year I am pushing hard to get a sitter and celebrate it! Wish me luck!

  197. thank you for the giveaway, Lisa! we like to make heart-shaped pink pancakes for breakfast, exchange valentines (at school and/or home) and have a special meal with chocolate cake for dessert. . .love!

  198. I am going to be spending Valentines Day with my wonderful and amazing friends. We will be celebrating our current and future happiness.

  199. I plan to spend it on the couch with my hubby, a bottle of wine, some Chinese take-out, and a romantic movie. And have the kids in bed early!

LOVE your jewlery! THANKS for the chance!
    ourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com

  200. The hubby and I are (hoping) to be on the ski hill….followed by dip in the hot tub and bottle of red (teehee)!!

  201. We cook a fancy dinner with the whole family and have yummy dessert. I love spending it with all of my valentines.

  202. I usually make a special supper for my husband & 2 boys…complete with candlelight and a yummy dessert. Love your jewelry!

  203. Valentine’s Day is our “Gotcha Day” for our daughter who is now 11! We usually do dinner and hang out as a family. 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to win! :o)

p.s. I love this font, I almost just want to keep on typing… LOL

  204. I also decorate my children’s bedroom doors with heart telling all the reasons we love them. There are so excited to read them on Valentine’s morning. There also a special heart shaped note in their lunch boxes.

  205. Hmmm . . . I have no idea. Maybe if it’s still super cold here, we’ll build a roaring fire and snuggle up on the couch for a movie. We rarely go out on Valentine’s Day. It’s just soooo crowded.

  206. Sadly, we have responsibilities on the 14th… but we are taking a rain check for a little later and going out to Banff for a weekend!

  207. Our plans are still in the works : ) As a former v day hater I’m trying to put together some fun plans which are memorable and meaningful. Though it might have to include an action flick which comes out that weekend (per my hubs).

  208. We celebrate Valentine’s Day, as a family, all day long. Breakfast surprises, Valentine’s notes in lunch boxes, cards and cute gifts at dinner, special dessert, etc.
My husband and I book dinner reservations for the night before Valentine’s. We have an alone date, very romantic…..then the family stays together and the actual day.

  209. I will most likely be spending the day with three little sweeties (twin 2 year olds and a 9 month old, all girls) making cookies for our favorite guy, daddy.

  210. i will be making heart shaped hanging garlands for my white back room and then I’ll give my loved ones a card each and cook a special dinner for them all topped off with a delicious chocolate cake with betty crocker icing….hope they like it!!!

  211. This year maybe my husband and I will go to dinner. We have two small children and don’t EVER get to do anything. If not we will spend it as a family.

  212. We try to have a nice supper at home – complete with candles & a special dessert. May not happen right on the day with crazy work & school schedules, but sometime that week we will have our dinner together!

  213. i plan on taking the hubs out to breakfast, go rock climbing, and make his favorite meal for dinner. i feel like i always make valentines day about me…but this time i want to love him well and show him that i want to make him feel special 🙂

  214. I still haven’t figured out what we’re doing yet for Valentine’s Day. I has to be special, because my poor husband has been a little neglected lately 🙁

  215. We always celebrate Valentine’s Day with dinner or lunch in a favorite restaurant–and we have plenty!!! Not necessarily romantic ones, but ones we’ve had memorable meals in. 🙂 Thank you so much for the chance to win! 🙂

  216. My son’s turning 4 on Valentine’s Day & it’s also the day my husband proposed so I think we’ll be celebrating all weekend long (since Mon. isn’t so ideal).

  217. I plan to spend it with my two boys and my hubs. I’m sure it will involve lots of heart shaped baked goodies that my bambinos help me make 🙂

  218. Well, single for the last ten years means that this year will be wonderful with my grade 2/3 class during the day and then a wonderful dinner with my thirteen year old daughter. I am not sure what I will make, but I can assure you that it will be good.

  219. I plan on just enjoying the fact that the hubs is home for Valentines this year instead of being deployed.
I will also probably be doing some cute crafts with the little man!!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  220. My daughter is very excited for Valentine’s Day. We are planning a little Mommie/Daughter party the Saturday before with a few of her classmates and their mommies … We’ll have a fun craft (either thumbprint hearts on a mug or t-shirt), chocolate treats, red hots and cupcakes. As for the 14th, it’ll be a quiet, special dinner evening with our little family, celebrating our love for each other.

  221. Hi Lisa,
Well I’ve already *swooned* over the new bracelet … so moving on to the question. When is Valentine’s day? Hmmm, let me check … A Monday? Really … well maybe we can celebrate for 3 days then. I suspect my sweets and I will go on a date, not necessarily fancy, but something we both like and really just being together is great. Then Monday will be geared more toward me showing my boys love with some yummy baked goods, a few treats and maybe a heart shaped pizza for dinner?

    What are your plans?

  222. We are going on a CRUISE (my first) to the Bahamas! WooHoo! Plus, it’s sponsored by FamilyLife and lots of great Christian artists and speakers will be cruising with us. 🙂

  223. I will be celebrating my daughter Eve’s 11th birthday! No party plans yet, b/c I am recovering from wrist surgery, broken when we went ice skating together. No matter what, it will be special, just like Eve.

  224. We’ll probably have a quiet date night at home after the kiddo is in bed- popcorn & a good date night movie.

  225. My daughter and I will make homemade valentines for her class. My family, we like to keep it simple and have a sit down homemade dinner and a movie together. Probably will make a special dessert like hot fudge sundaes! I am pretty new to your blog, and I just love it! I am hoping to order the daisy chain bracelet for my mom soon with her 7 grandchildren’s names! Thank you for this giveaway opportunity! Aloha!

  226. I think this year we will have a special family dinner by candle light and eat only red and pink food!! Heart shaped of course…..maybe even sprinkles on the broccoli!!!

  227. this year i’ll probably spend v-day all by my lonesome…but my husband will be home the next weekend (he’s in the army and away for training)… so we’ll celebrate later, probably with a romantic dinner and a movie.

i am a 1st and 2nd grade sunday school teacher so i may take some of the alone time to make my kids a cute little valentine. 🙂

  228. We are pretty simple on Valentine’s Day. Special little treats throughout the day…. we order in dinner… then a movie once we tuck our girls in.

  229. Well, my husband just lost his job so unless he gets another one quickly Valentine’s day will be dinner at home, which is okay because at least we have a home.

  230. We usually don’t do much for valentines day. I thought this year my husband and I along with our 3 kids could think about the reasons why we love each other.

  231. We will be celebrating with our small group…a Valentine theme to our regular Monday night community of dinner together with 3 other families!

  232. I love to make shortbread cookies in the shapes of hearts with my boys for Valentines Day! We ususally have a nice family breakfast and try to just have a low key fun day!

  233. I will be starting off the day at the dentist. Lucky me :). Then we will probably just spend the night at home with our three boys. We will possibly go out to lunch together since it is hard to go out to eat with our son with special needs. He prefers to stay home, and sometimes that is much easier– especially on a holiday!!

  234. I make love jars with my kids at the beginning of the month, one for each kid. Every day we put m&m’s in the person’s jar when we see each other doing little acts of kindness. Gets my kids looking for and acknowledging the nice things their brothers and sisters do for them. They can only get treats in their own love jar by doing things for others. And then on Valentine’s day we eat the treats. We love it!

  235. My husband has been working out of state for several months and will be back home just in time for Valentine’s Day. I’m thinking we may just have a nice, home-cooked dinner and get used to him being home again.

  236. I’ll be celebrating by admiring my new Lisa Leonard bracelet that I got with my new gift certificate that I won! Wink, wink. Oh and giving my famly lots of love and chocolate.

  237. I am a special education teacher so we’ll be having a party at school with the kids and I always invite the parents to join us. At home? I’m usually exhausted after days like that so hopefully, hubby will make dinner for me.

  238. I usually work very occasionally at a flower shop (Flowers by Sleeman) but our busiest time of the year is Valentine’s Day! So I will be working full time in the four days leading up to Valentine’s Day plus until at least 5:30 on the day itself!! Love it!! Love it!!

  239. We invite our good friends over and let our toddlers play and catch up on the latest kids flick. It is becoming an annual event. Truly spending it with the one we LOVE!

  240. We are going to start the day with a Hershey Kiss hunt for our girls: 10 kisses each, a different color for each girl. How fun! I make chocolate truffles ahead of time, so those are usually shared and snacked on. I’ll call my BFF to wish her a “Happy Friend’s Day!,” my husband and girls and I will have a picnic in the living room, ending with a chocolate dessert. Then the kids go to bed and we watch a romantic comedy on Netflix, my choice (!!) every year. I <3 that day!!! Happy Valentine's Day, Lisa!

  241. I don’t know what our plans are for V-day. Hubby is taking me on a cruise for my birthday (which is a month later!) so we will probably go low key for Valentines…just red pancakes for the kiddos for breakfast!

  242. With a house full of boys (4 little ones and 1 big one), food is always the way to a man’s heart. So, I will start hteir days with homemade Valentine’s cards and then make us a nice dinner with somekind of “hearty” themed dessert. I’m sure they’ll love it!

  243. valentine’s day?
i hadn’t even thought about it until today when a lunch date at the diner proved it’s very close indeed. there were cascading hearts everywhere!

i hope we get a date out somewhere we never go 🙂

    thanks lisa!

  244. I haven’t officially decided but maybe candlelight dinner with the family with cute heart shaped deserts. I don’t usually get gifts for my kids on v-day but I did this year: fun lego watches for my 2 oldest boys and a cute hook for my little girl’s room. I’m looking forward to lots of hugs and kisses from them!

  245. L.O.V.E. this bracelet! So fun!

I’m hoping to spend Valentine’s Day just chillin’ with the Huz…& even though I’m on a “diet”, I might make some Valentine’s cookies…because I’m always looking for a reason to bake cookies (and eat them of course!). 😉

  246. My boys and I will be making homemade Valentines – it is one of the few times of year I allow glitter to enter the picture! They are only 3 and 1. They LOVE glitter.
And hopefully my hubby and I will get a moment or two alone.

  247. It’s a work day and a Monday after a very busy weekend, so we’ll probably make a yummy dinner and dessert together then nestle in on the couch so I can cuddle my husband and boys–the five loves of my life.

  248. We have 7 little ones (so far…..;) and every year we make homemade heart-shaped pizza and each makes his/her own:) It’s a lot of fun and we are all of each others’ valentines:) <3

  249. My hubby and I try not to spend much money on Valentine’s Day. We always get each other a nice card and we pick out a nice meal (last year was lobster!) and cook it together. Usually the night will end with massages. Nothing fancy, but always romantic. 🙂

  250. My husband and I always have a quiet Valentine’s Day. We have celebrated many (since we were 16) and our best ones are always at home together….

  251. My husband and daughter & I will share a great Italian meal at a favorite local restaurant. Top it off with some good wine and great chocolate. Wonderful time spent with those I love most! Love the button bracelet!

  252. Spending this Valentine’s Day with my hubby – making dinner and curling up on the couch together. It’s not exciting, but it’s one of our favorite things to do!

  253. I’ll spend my Valentine’s Day with the hubs and our two little boys… maybe a family movie night and some Chinese?

  254. I think maybe an early bird special at the local Japanese steakhouse, followed by an early kiddo bedtime, followed by some couch snuggles and a movie!

  255. This Valentines day a bunch of my friends and I are getting together to get all dressed up and go out to dinner!
    can’t wait! =)
    -Kelly Elizabeth

  256. LOVE the new bracelet! This valentine’s Day I will spend the evening with my love snuggled by a fire. It is brrrrrrr here on Long Island! We’ll enjoy a lovely homemade dinner and then have yummy dessert. A perfect evening at home!

  257. Valentine’s Day will be my first day at a new job, so it’s going to be a crazy day. But I’m thinking homemade s’mores might be a fun (easy) treat at the end of a stressful day.

  258. My husband and I plan to send our four little ones to grandma’s house so we can make our own sushi and drink some great wine together. I can’t wait!! Oh, and there will be tiramisu involved, too! 🙂

  259. I’m going to bake up some wonderful treats for my husband and children and really be mindful about showing them how much I love them and how thankful I am to have them in my life.

  260. Her, Valentin’s Day is a family thing! We will have our traditionnal chocolate fondue after dinner and the kids will find a little candy surprise in their rooms, after school!

  261. My husband and I are sneaking away to the Poconos for a romantic weekend with a champagne glass hot tub and a heart shaped pool in our room!

  262. the sewing bracelet is adorable (especailly with g.l.& s. initials).

yikes! i have no idea how we will celebrate v-day!??

chocolate chip pancakes. school parties w/ little treats.
girl’s in last years homemade v-day shirts.

honestly, we don’t make a big deal of v-day love, we make a big deal of every day love.

  263. We’re going to go out for sushi and come home and eat a whole bag of conversation hearts. We’ll probably bring both kids because we love them, and isn’t that what Valentine’s Day is about?

  264. We plan to spend a quiet evening at home with a new baby. I am due with baby #4 on February 4th, so we are planning a nice evening at home, maybe ordering take out and watching a movie with the kids. Just spending time as a family is always the best time spent!

  265. We’ll be making and eating heart shaped/ red, pink, white food, doing some fun crafts during school, and having a fun candle lit dinner followed by family movie night on the “couch bed.” The hubby and I usually go on a date before or after instead of trying to make reservations the day of.

  266. My hubby and I are going to an Asian resturaunt that I love. It’s a buffet and as always I’ll fill my bowl with a couple wonton from the soup tureen and then add egg drop soup for the broth in my bowl. I love eating it that way. I will make his favorite cake in a heart shaped pan. It has Brach’s chocolate stars in it and dates. It’s sooo yummy, but expensive, so it’s a once a year thing.

  267. My sweet husband will likely be out of town on Valentine’s Day, so I will spend the evening curled up under a quilt on the couch talking on the phone to him, the man I would choose to marry all over again.

  268. I will be decorating our house for my three girls again this year. While they sleep, I cut out hearts and hang them all over our kitchen. They are always surprised when they come down for breakfast. It is so fun to see their joy.

  269. I have three children and each year I do a project with their adorable handprints!!!!! This year is extra special since it is my daughters first Valentine’s Day!!

  270. My friend suffered a miscarriage (twins) last year…expected to be due on Valentine’s Day 2011. She’s having a really tough time this week. I’d buy her a necklace or bracelet with hearts or little feet to recognize her loss and bring some hope to a sad day.

  271. I so love your jewelry and the creative touch you spread to everyone! Thanks for sharing your beautiful talent and that bracelet is so inspiring!

  272. maybe a romantic dinner with my husband. his birthday is the day before valentine’s, so he always getted ripped off. love the giveaway. maybe one time i will win.

  274. I plan on spending Valentine’s day with my husband and our sweet 3 year old daughter, snuggled up watching one of her favorite Disney movies, Aristocats or Beauty and the Beast! Can’t beat that. Love your new bracelet!

  275. I plan to spend it with my honey!!! He has had to travel for work for the last four valentines days. Boo! But this year he will be home. I bought some white and red candles after Christmas and have been shopping for candle holders so I can have a candlelight dinner with my honey and four kids. I am really excited for it this year!

  276. Well besides the darn midterm on Valentines Day…I’m going to go have a nice dinner with some of my friends who are also boyfriend-less 🙂

  277. What a sweet giveaway! I am planning on making little valentine goodies for my co-workers and then enjoy an evening at home with my hubby. When my daughter is a little older my husband will start taking her out as a special time for the two of them .

  278. My husband plans valentines and anniversarys. We might go simple and stay home this year and order in, we will see… Just having a date with him sans baby would be nice!! 🙂

  279. Much to my husband’s delight, I’m not big into celebrating Valentine’s day. I imagine we will spend the night in with our newest love, our son, born on November 1st.

  280. I plan on making a “grand” dinner with dishes I normally wouldn’t do for everyday. We will eat this by candlelight & just enjoy each other’s company!

  281. Oooh, I’m giddy at the thought of spending that much on all your good stuff. I plan on making little gifts for the teacher and friends of my daughter’s class and capturing it on camera on valentine’s day 🙂

  282. I love all your jewelry! I also love reading your blog. I will be helping in my 2nd graders classroom and then we will celebrate at home with a home cooked meal. I am not sure what yet but it will be yummy.

  283. I will probably help out at the party in one of my kids’ classrooms. Then I’ll make a special dinner. I haven’t yet thought ahead for the menu, but chocolate will be involved!

  284. Fun new bracelet! Love it!

This valentines, if we are still home and not in Russia (picking up our sweet little girl!), I actually requested a date painting our kitchen cabinets! I’ve been waiting to do it for weeks, but have not been able to bite the bullet since we don’t know when we’ll get the call to go to Russia! So, if we are home, we paint and eat take-out. If not, we’ll be in Russia with our daughter! 🙂

  285. I am very pregnant, and even if our little guy hasn’t arrived by Valentine’s Day, we’ll stay in anyway! We keep the holiday low-key: inexpensive, sentimental gifts, love notes and cheese fondue for dinner!

  286. with my lovely kiddos! cuddling, sipping hot chocolate, reading books, sharing, laughing, playing games, cuddling, cuddling and more cuddling!!

  287. Our three sweet valentines are celebrating with a delicious dinner, some yummy red velvet cupcakes, a quiet family movie, and then a nice glass of wine for mommy and daddy after the three peaches go to bed. 🙂 Does it get any better than that!?!

  288. I haven’t decided how to celebrate quite yet … but I’m finally blessed to have an amazing man in my life who MORE than deserves to be celebrated. So I am working on coming up with something to show him how much I appreciate his love and support everyday 🙂

  289. What a lovely giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win. I always try to do small, simple, surprises for my family on Valentine’s Day.

  290. My husband and I will be having dinner at home with our twins enjoying a special dessert and some bubbly.
Thank you for enter us in your very generous contest!
I would love to get a special necklace with my twins’ names on it.
    Thank you so much,
    Sylvia

  291. We always love staying home, making a fancy dinner for just the two of us, and watching a movie on the couch. Sounds very unromantic I know, but it’s great to have some quality alone time, together.

  292. I think we’ll start off the day with some heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, topped with some strawberries. Yum! I’m sure we will go for our family walk and include our two beagles. I would like to order some pad thai for take-out. I can’t wait to give my husband the picture frame that I painted for him from our daughter. It is sweet. For me, Valentine’s isn’t about the flowers, chocolates, etc. It’s about being together as a family and enjoying the little things in our life that means most. P.S. My hubby bought me the Mama bracelet for Valentine’s. I can’t wait to see it in person. I know I’m going to feel a closeness to my daughter when I wear it. I can’t say that about any other jewelry that I own. I love your work…..Keep creating it. You have some great ideas…

  293. Good heavens…that is almost a month away. I barely know what will happen this afternoon. But God willing I’ll be with my hubby for that special day.

  294. Love the new bracelet! We will probably stay home and enjoy the evening with our three girls. Thanks for offering another great giveaway!

  295. Well, I’m a single gal so I will probably spend my Valentines with my grandchildren while their parents go out. I just might say, that will be a nice way for me to spend my evening, smile.

  296. We will probably spend valentines day at home … Order pizza and watch Toy Story 3 for the 100th time ! Fun times with the family ! Xoxo

  297. We will probably spend Valentine’s Day at home. We have gone out for dinner on V-Day, but it is always so busy everywhere & we end up wishing we would have stayed home & made a yummy supper for ourselves.

  298. I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with my roommate as we celebrate our friendiversary because we met and started our friendship on Valentine’s Day. I look forward to it every year!!

  299. My husband and I will probably go out the weekend before and spend the day of with our three little boys! Heart shaped food, snuggling up to read children’s Valentine’s Day books (I have a bunch since I taught kindergarten before becoming a stay at home momma), and probably a movie at the end of the day.
    Cute new bracelet!!

  300. this valentine’s day.. i am hoping to go on a date with my hubby! we rarely go out since our son was born 18 months ago.. so we are really pushing to get out with each other & get a sitter!

  301. I’ll be having a date with my 3rd year old little stud-muffin! My hubby will be traveling for work and my son and I are going to go out to his favorite restrauant and then a movie. It honestly doesn’t get much better than that, does it?

  302. For the past several years my husband sets up a date for us at a restaurant that is usually only open for lunch. The chef makes us a special 4 course Valentine dinner and we have the whole restaurant to ourselves – sooooo fun!!! Valentine’s Day is extra special because my husband’s birthday is on Feb. 13, so we celebrate our love and his life at the same time.=)
P.S. I got my first LLD necklace for Christmas and absolutely love it!!!! I already have my order in for a 2nd one.

  303. My husband and I are going tubing! I’m not so great on skis, so this will be fun and make it less likely I’ll break an arm 🙂 Love your new bracelet design!

  304. I will be decorating our kitchen table full of red hearts and making special meals for my boys—- heart shaped and red things as much as possible. We will talk a lot about love and who we love and are thankful for, and we will make sweet cards for our friends.

  305. my hubby was away last year, so I plan on making a special dinner for him and my boys and just sitting down to a special meal with wonderful conversation and love..enjoy!

  306. I will be spending Valentine’s Day with my husband. I have no idea yet what we are doing. It will be surprise. I love your new bracelet and I love buttons .

  307. Valentine’s day will be spend with my 20 kiddos, no no I do not have 20 children of my own, I am a teacher. We will be celebrating friendships with nice letters, and some sweet treats, and crafts.

Mr. and I are not huge Valentine’s people. We never have been. We feel that although it’s nice to have one day to celebrate your love, we celebrate our love everyday! Usually we cook a nice meal together, and have a nice bottle of wine by the fireplace.

  308. Not exactly in the budget for a quiet, fancy dinner out so it will be shared with my husband and 3 littles here in our cozy home. We’ll pull out all the red, pink and heart shaped platters and have a dinner of red, pink, and white foods. We’ll make some choc covered strawberries and keep it low key – just the way I like it!

  311. Valentine’s Day means sweet treats for my two little boys and sharing a bottle of fantastic wine with my husband.

More important than anything, it means celebrating love and the ones I that hold dear. They are the sweet in my life and I cherish every day.

  312. Hopefully just go for a walk and eat a good dinner at home. I’ll let my hubby treat me some other time! I’m not big on the crowds during Valentines and inflated prices. But we do love celebrating us.

  313. We will probably have a quite yummy dinner at home with each other & our daughter. I really like a low key Valentines day. Love your blog & jewelry! Thanks!

  314. My two boys and I (ages 5 & 3 1/2) already picked out recipes to bake the night before then on actual Valentines day deliver treats to friends, neighbors & teachers.
We’ll probably go out for “valentines” dinner the day before to beat the rsvp’s the night of 🙂 Or just stay in, watch a movie, eat leftover treats. Pretty low key :)oh, dinner will be the 4 of us!

  315. Well, I’m a single gal so probably will spend my Valentines with my grandchildren while their parents go out. I might just might say, that will be a nice way for me to spend my evening, smile.

  316. As long as I am with my hubby, I don’t care what we do, I’m happy. Oh, a little chocolate makes the deal even sweeter!

  317. I will be spending my valentine with my hubby and 4 boys. We will fill our day with love, hearts, and of course chocolate. I am planning a heart scavenger hunt for the boys. Spending time with my amazing family is a perfect way to celebrate Valentines day (a holiday of love).

  318. I love Valentine’s Day! My 3 sons will be celebrating at school and we’ll complete the day with a special family dinner and our usual heart cake! xo

  319. Hubby will be at work until 11 pm….so I plan on spending the day with my two little boys. I plan on having us make a heart shaped pizza and some heart shaped cookies. And of course we will make a special valentine card for dad!

  320. We will be doing what we do every year. We bust out our “special” plates and cups. I make a fancy dinner — heart pancakes (with strawberries and whip cream), bacon and hasbrowns. We have apple juice with heart ice (from cranberry or grape juice). Fancy fancy huh 🙂 It’s one of the only dinners my picky eater(s) won’t balk at.

  321. Now that we have four kids, Valentine’s Day has changed so much for my husband and me! We will spend it having a fun dinner chosen by the older two girls, making sundaes and smores, and snuggling on the couch with a movie — maybe Despicable Me, a new fave in our house!

  322. I plan on spending Valentines day with my daughter since my husband is deployed to Afghanistan. We’ll make some heart shaped cookies and probably go out to dinner.

  323. Everyday is Valentine’s Day at my house. Okay, maybe not, but in theory it should be. My husband will give me a ridiculously silly card and I will do the same. We will enjoy a meal with our daughters and be reminded of all that we love about each other!

  324. We are being low key this year, but that being said, we always celebrate a little. Making valentine’s cards for each other (especially for in Daddy’s lunch) and maybe some heart shaped sugar cookies! ♥

  325. Since Valentine’s Day is Monday it probably won’t be as exciting as other years but hopefully my husband and I will get to go out to dinner (at a new restaurant in town) and we’ll probably do some fun things with the kids like making cookies, putting gift bags and cards together for their classmates and getting them a “heart shaped box of chocolate” as is customary! Love the new bracelet!!!

  326. Our middle son turns 10 on the 13th, so we usually don’t celebrate Valentine’s day much… Especially since we live on a ranch and baby calves are arriving in full force. Momma cows and calves take a priority, but after 20 years, I’m okay with it. (Okay, until I hear about romantic dinners and destinations…)

  327. Since my boys are older – 13 & 16, we no longer have the fun school parties. But we will still order out a heart shaped pizza from our favorite pizzeria and I will bake my famous heart shaped iced sugar cookies. And if all the homework gets done in time, we’ll watch “Pawn Stars” & “American Pickers” together – our favorite shows! Our traditions change as the kids get older, but they are just as sweet 🙂 And I’ll be counting our blessings.
    Blessings, Patti

  328. On Valentine’s day I’m getting on a plane with hubby for a vacation in Aruba. I’m so excited! Great way to celebrate our love………in the sunshine!

  329. Valentine’s Day for my family will involve the good china, a favorite meal and yummy cake with buttercream icing. My teenagers roll their eyes but love it! Our oldest will probably even make the cake–she is so talented with cake decorating!

I am using your coupon this weekend to get our daughter a sweet necklace. She is graduating from hs this May; I am having a hard time deciding which one to order!! thanks for the coupon and the opportunity to win something!

  330. I plan on making a dinner for my 4 super sweet girls. Dad is in the restaurant business so he”ll be busy that night! That’s ok …truly everyday is valentine’s when your husband loves you like mine loves me. SO BLESSED!

  331. Unfortunately, my husband has to work so I’ll be spending Valentine’s day with my little Valentine, my son 🙂 We’ll have a romantic dinner all to ourselves 🙂

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  332. Thank you for this giveaway! We will be making and decorating sugar cookies with our children and have a fun afternoon party with them. Then my husband and I will go out for a dinner together. He usually gives me See’s candy and flowers!

  333. We don’t know what the Valentine’s plan is yet. Unfortunately my husband’s work schedules is on a week by week basis, so we’ll be doing something very last minute (and possibly not on the 14th).

  334. My husband and I both have to work on Valentine’s Day(the restaurant business is a pain during holidays…boohoo) so we will try something romantic on tuesday…..
    thanks for the giveaway!!
    ~Sharon~

  335. Love the new bracelet! The new jar one, though has a special place in my heart! I’m big into canning and glass jars for everything.
Valentines day will involve lots of yummy food with my two favorite people. Maybe I’ll think up a yummy themed dessert!
    Thanks for the chance!

  336. Valentine’s Day will be a on tight budget this year, but we can still make it special. The kids will eat on special heart plates and eat heart shaped food. We’ll have a yummy dessert and enjoy homemade valentines :-).

  337. New to your website. Beautiful family and fabulous jewelry. I will spend Valentines Day just enjoying my children and husband at home.

  338. Valentines is on a Monday, so we will probably go out the Saturday beforehand. The normal rountine is out to dinner and watch a movie…we will see since my husband has been working 7 days a week and 12 hours a day- I don’t know if he will be able to keep his eyes open for a whole movie.

  339. i hope to just spend some time with my stud! our schedules are crazy right now and any time we get to spend just the two of us is a special treat (:

  340. I already decorated the house for Valentine’s Day and will also be making a heart shaped chocolate chip cookie for my husband. The kids look forward to helping with that every year.

  341. Without any more snow days off from school it will be a dual celebration – Valentine’s Day and the 100th Day of School! I will be celebrating with the kids during the day and afterwards enjoying time with my huband and grown up kids!

  342. I hope to spend Valentine’s with my man and my baby girl…maybe some good food, wine and some cuddles. 🙂

  343. HI Lisa,

What a great idea and I LOVE the new button bracelet, being a quilter and a stitcher this is perfect for me. Valentine Day at our home will be spent having a special dinner with our two kids, heart shaped cake for dessert and probably reading the valentine’s we received that day….happy hearts…

  344. We have started a wacky tradition over the last few years. Each Valentine’s day we head to Wal-Mart to look at Valentine’s cards. We both stand in the aisle and pick out a card for each other, swap, read, and then share a kiss in the aisle. We decided a long time ago that instead of spending money on cards, we would rather spend it on time. We have tickets to the local hockey game and will enjoy “Valentine’s Theme Night” on the ice.

  345. We aren’t big on valentine’s day (both our birthdays are in February, so it’s a little overkill!) but we’ll try to at least get fancier take out!

  346. I will wear red and pink…I will over -use heart shapes…I will love on my hubs and send love to my friends and family!

  347. hubby and I just exchange cards, that’s it. we have an extreme amount of birthdays around the holidays and our anniversary, so it kinda has become another thing I have to do and spend money on…..sigh 🙁

  348. we plan on eating some delicious mexican food together with some of our dearest friends 🙂 the perfect night. thanks for the chance to win!

  349. I have hardly thought about Valentine’s Day yet! I am sure that the boys and I will be making valentines for their school friends. Don’t know that my husband and I will do anything because he is going to be crazy with weeks of exams at school. Thanks for the giveaway!

  350. I still have mailboxes to make for my kiddos. Bought all of the supplies last year and have yet to make them so I should really get on that. Besides that… probably a typical night or day around here.

  351. This Valentines Day will be our 7th Valentines Day together and we plan on staying in, cooking dinner together and watching a movie. I am also excited because I starting teaching this year and have many fun projects planned for my students for Valentines Day!

  352. We usually celebrate a different night to avoid the madness, but maybe we’ll join in this year! Either way I’m just excited to have a kid-free date with my hubs!

  353. We always have a special Valentines breakfast for the kids. We decorate the table, serve all of their favorites (heart pancakes, of course), and give each child a small gift. That leaves the evening free for sweetheart celebrating. Hurray!

  354. just a quiet evening at home with my family… I’ll probably make something a little special for dinner, and we’ll spend time together. It’s all good that way.

  355. I would love to spend Valentine’s Day with my husband–doing whatever he would like. We work different shifts during the week so I don’t get to see him as often as I would like so the time we have together is precious.

I collect vintage buttons so I love, love, love the button bracelet. I have ordered several pieces from you but have always given them as gifts. The next time I order I am keeping it. I am a follower of your blog.

  356. I’ll be spending it with my two loves – my husband and daughter! There will be a Valentine’s party at school with my daughter and then a special dinner with both of them that night. Couldn’t ask for anything more!!

  357. A quiet weekend with the hubbs, no kids, just us! Can’t wait! Think we will get lots of walks, coffee, good food, and some spa time in! How about you???

  358. I make heart shaped pancakes for my kiddos every year for Valentine’s Day. A tradition passed down from my Mom.

  359. My husband was just diagnosed with lymphoma so I think we will really just be spending that time cherishing each other and our 5 blessings.

  360. Well some of us call it Singles Awareness Day 😛 ILH! I have two friends that have birthday’s the day before and the day of V day so I am planning on making a special care package for each of them and I am so excited about it!

  361. I love the new bracelet! So cute! I plan to spend V-Day cuddled up with hubby and the little ones and watch a movie on the sofa! Nothing fancy – just cozy! Thanks for the giveaway!

  362. I am working on cute little Valentine’s cards for my girlfriends. There is a cupcake on the card and it says, Life is sweeter with you!
I know they are going to love getting these in the mail..I would!

    Kelly

  363. We’re going out of town with friends this year, it’s my daughter’s resurrection day on the 15th and I just couldn’t handle being home. Actually we’ll be near your neck of the woods! I’m sad that valentine’s day will forever be tainted by what the 15th represents now. Thanks for the giveaway!!

  364. my husband is working again this year, so my valentine’s day will consist of a date with my 3 1/2 year old son! we’ll have our favorite dinner: mac & cheese and make heart cookies.

  365. I always make homemade cards with a photo of my son holding an “i {heart} u” sign. My husband always gets me new sneakers (long story) and we usually have a date night at home with fondue and creme brulee. Yummy!

  366. Ever since we were first married and money was always tight, hubby and I always splurged a bit on ingredients and cooked a Valentine’s meal together. It was cheaper than going out and more special because we did it together. Even since things have gotten a little easier financially we still stick to our annual Valentine’s cooking tradition.

  367. we never go out on valentines day…usually a few days later to avoid the crowds {that makes us sound old, i know! lol}…
we’ll get take and bake pizza and watch a movie as a family. perfect! 🙂

  368. working, volunteering with Girls on the Run, and then coming home for dinner with my boyfriend. I’m not sure if he’s cooking or taking me out, but I’m secretly hoping for a RING! 🙂 It’s our 5th Valentine’s Day together!

  369. Planning on spending it with my boyfriend…we are both off that weekend so we will finally get some time together. Think we are going to plan a little weekend trip somewhere!

  370. This year for valentine’s day, I want to make cards with my daughter for all her little friends. And I want to get a babysitter and go do something fun with my husband. He’s been working ridiculously hard lately (work and school), and I want to take time to have fun together instead of just coexisting.

  371. I am planning on celebrating valentines with my kiddos. The hubs will be working and my oldest little one is going to be out of school that day. I would like to make hearts with them, cookies and just celebrate the love I have for my kids! 😀

  372. We are going to have a low key Valentine’s day. All I want to do is stay home (been travelling a lot for work), snuggle on the coach and watch a good movie with the hubby!
Thanks for the chance to win. Love your creations.

  373. My 4th baby and 4th daughter was born on February 15. a scheduled C-Section – as far away as I could get it from her 2 sisters’ b’days and also not on Valentine’s Day. I wanted her to have her own celebration. That was in 1988. I’ll celebrate V-Day with hearts for my 6 grandchildren 4 girls and thinking about my baby being born 23 years ago.

And also hugs and kisses for my husband of 32 years, of course.

  374. Valentine’s Day this year will mean driving my son to a “dawn to dusk” baseball practice at 6 am (no sleeping in on a school holiday!) and making sure I have a good, hearty dinner ready for him and my husband in the evening for us to enjoy together. Just another regular — wonderful!– day. . .

  375. Hi! I LOVE the new bracelet! We never really celebrated Valentine’s Day in the past. That is, until we found out that we were pregnant on Valentine’s Day 2 years ago. Now this day has an extra special day in my heart. I plan on making a lot of Valentine’s Day treats for friends and family. Then my little family of 3 will just enjoy the day together – no specific plans yet! Thanks! 🙂

  376. we will spend our day secretly delivering little “i love you’s” to friends and neighbors around town. we love the ding dong ditch ’em idea of leaving a little chocolate surprise for a friend!

  377. I plan to spend it with the ones I love, my hubby & my little girls! Maybe a pancake breakfast, sweets all day and some cuddling on the couch!

  378. I’ll probably spend it by going to my nephews’ and niece’s school for Valentine parties! 4 of them! Yay! That means quadruple the cupcakes and balloons!

  379. I’ll be spending Valentine’s Day helping out at my oldest daughter’s class party in the morning. The rest of the day will be spent making lots of Valentine sweets and crafts with all three of my kids!

  380. I will be making brownies (from scratch) and staying in to watch a movie with my hubbie and kids. Nice and quiet, no crowds…enjoying time with family (and my pets!)

  381. Our Valentine’s plans include staying at our favorite B & B along the shores of Lake Superior and eating out at one of our favorite restaurants. I can’t wait for this fun event as I’m going in for surgery next week and am very frightened as I’ve never been through this before!

  382. I love all the new jewelry. We just moved and haven’t found a babysitter yet. Besides our love became a family and that’s worth celebrating with our kids.

  383. Praying we’ll be celebrating it with our adopted child, or at least receive some news by then! Either way, we’ll celebrate it — there’s much to celebrate!

  384. Valentine’s Day will be backpack surprises for my son and daughter and an evening with my husband. Not sure of the specifics with hubby yet, but I do know it will be just him and I.

    Love your designs.

  385. I’m hoping we can get a sitter and get a quiet night out….but more than likely the weekend before we’ll get a nice meal to go and eat at home with a movie and cozy blankets.

  386. we’ll spend each minute cuddling, kissing our four amazing kiddos and then after bedtime a quiet night together!

it’ll be a regular day- but i think we should celebrate loving each other EVERY day! : )

  387. Probably take the kids somewhere fun…maybe Gattitown…pizza and games with my kiddos…what could be better?!

  388. Not sure yet! Since we have a new baby girl I know I’m going to dress her up in red and her first valentines day bib and take lots of pics! Maybe I’ll try to dress her up as Cupid too! Thanks for the giveaway! I love your necklace I got for Christmas and hopefully I’ll be opening another one for valentine’s day!

  389. I’ll be spending it with my hubby at home. We’ll probably make dinner together, hang out & enjoy the evening!

  390. Since it’s on a Monday this year and a school night, we’ll probably just spend a cozy evening at home as a family. We’ve been crafting away around here and sprucing up a little. The house always feels so drab after the holidays! Of course, I’ll be attending a little school party for my oldest and I’ll share a little Valentine surprise with the kiddos back at home….maybe some cupcakes or brownies…and a little ice cream. Love the new bracelet. I have so many of your things now that I feel like a gypsy trying to wear them all at once!

  391. Since it is a school day, and we’re not allowed to have a party, I’ll be sneaking in little treats throughout the day for my students 🙂

And this is my first married Valentines Day, so we’ll see what my husband decides 🙂

  392. My hubby doesn’t really celebrate Valentine’s day but I will usually tuck a note in his lunchbox for him and I’ll probably try and make a nice dinner for us all to have. My kiddos like to make heart shaped cookies so they are looking forward to doing that project together and sharing them with friends. 🙂

  393. i love to get surprises for the kids too, not just for my husband….share the love. and my birthday is the day after, so more celebrating.

  394. I love buying the little candy hearts in boxes for everyone, with all the words on them. I love words….

Celebrating, (and thanking God for getting us through the rough times), 35 years of marriage, 3 wonderful children, and 7 grandchildren. 🙂

    karen

  395. The hubs and I will have just moved to VA the week before Valentines Day, so I’m looking forward to scouting out the area once we get there for a fun place to spend Valentines evening! This will be our last V-day without children, and as much as we are looking forward to being parents, I want this last year of just us to be really special! :]

  396. I haven’t made definite plans yet but I plan on making special surprises for my boys and hubby to find all over the house

  397. Valentine’s Day has always been extra special as it is our oldest son’s birthday. Granted he is all grown up now – will turn 27 this year – but is always a great day to celebrate.

We most likely will celebrate by all driving up to visit our youngest son at college and take both boys, our DIL and future DIL all out for dinner.

  398. i never really enjoyed celebrating valentine’s day, until we had our kids. now we have a celebration for them, get them a few little gifts and everything we make for the whole day is in the shape of a heart and has red and white sprinkles on it….literally, everything! hubby and i decorate the house a bit while the boys are asleep the night before, the boys do valentine’s for their classes and send a couple extra to grandparents, we all wear red of some sort, it has become one of my favorite holidays. funny how having kids can do that to you. Enjoy your weekend!

  399. Well my hubby works evening shift and I work nights as a labor and delivery nurse. So unfortunately I will not be celebrating with him but helping bring little valentines babies into this world! Still pretty fun if I say so myself!

  400. my husband’s birthday is the 7th and my daughter’s and my birthday is the 17th, so valentine’s day is always low key at our house.
usually some heart shaped candy is eaten and a fun dinner together at home.

  401. I think well try to celebrate on Sunday to avoid the rush. We have a gift certificate to my fave restaurant and to the movies. it’s been SO long since we did anything by ourselves I’ll be happy to just enjoy the simple pleasure of my husbands company =)

  402. It’s also our wedding anniversary. We will be celebrating both very low key this year. I’m having surgery shortly before and hopefully we will just be having a quiet dinner at home.

  403. Making our favorite frosted sugar cookies, calling our daughter at college to wish her a Happy Valentine’s Birthday (best “valentine” I ever received), and then going out to dinner with my hubby.

  404. We don’t usually do a lot for V Day. Usually go out to dinner. My DD is wanting an adorable pink sock monkey that I am sure will show up in a gift for her 🙂

  405. I am spending Valentines day this year with my 3 favorite guys, my husband and 2 boys! We will go to their parties at their school, and then off to a local pizza parlor that makes heart shaped pizza for the day!

  406. I love valentines day and celebrating my beautiful daughter Ashton’s birthday, this year she will be 12 and we just moved from Minnesota to Arizona so it will be immediate family and definitely outside!

  407. The kids will be having their homeschool Valentine’s Day party at the arcade and then that evening, my hubby and I will go out to dinner. Love spending it with my family. 🙂

  408. Our sweet daughter’s birthday is the day after Valentine’s. So ever since her birth in 1989, Valentine’s Day has been some sort of celebration of Rebekah’s birthday. (Our youngest will be 9 on the 20th of Feb.) It’s safe to say we’ll be celebrating birthdays.

  409. this year, we are going to be home all together. (hubby and our 4 kiddos), but a few days later, I am having my tubes tied (4 kiddos is enough for me) so that is my husband’s present is that :O}
I would so love to win this.

  410. My Valentines this year will be spent doing Parent/Teacher Conferences. I teacher special education and LOVE it, and I really do love P/T conferences so I guess it won’t be too awful. Now, I just hope the parents come!

  411. Hanging out with my guys! Probably leave love notes all over the house one per day from feb 1 to the big day. And then make something from my little boy for my husband. The world is our oyster.

  412. We celebrate Valentine’s Day with the kids since our anniversary is the week before. Heart shaped pancakes or pink oatmeal…little gifts…nothing extravagant, just a sweet time with my family.

  413. I’ll be working all day, but I recently started (casually) dating someone, so maybe we’ll make some sort of plans. <3

  414. we don’t really have a set tradition…last year we went to a concert. i’m thinking this year maybe a nice dinner at home followed by a a funny/romantic movie…”when harry met sally” just came to mind!

  415. I am planning a suprize to celebrate our 15th Valentine’s day together! I will also be making cookies and Valentines for the kids to pass out to their friends at school.

  416. I am hoping to have a nice dinner at home complete with some sweet treat–a fancy homemade cake or cookies…Maybe a fun movie too. Thank you for the chance!

  417. I heart valentine’s day so much! I treasure the memories of making a new valentine’s box each year with my dad! We were so creative and it was great father-daughter time together. We are carrying on that tradition with my husband and our daughters. They enjoy every single minute! Love your work so much! Would love to own a piece!

  418. Right now it is just myself and my husband. Every year for the past 3 years my tradition is to get him a case of Girl Scout Samoa cookies. The first year he was so surprised that he hugged the box! I have the picture to prove it! This year I am going to keep the tradition alive and get him a box of Samoa cookies and I’m thinking about making a picture collage of the past three years of him hugging the case! We are so corny I know, but I love it!

  419. My daughter has already started thinking of Valentine’s food. So far, she has pizza and macaroni and cheese (i’m not really sure how either of those might relate to Valentine’s day). It will be a nice day of love and happiness, and chocolate.

  420. Oh dear, count me in even though I don’t have any Valentine’s traditions per say. I remember my Mom one year getting us kids heart shaped red metal tins with really great peppermints in them… and we did the Valentine card swap at school… but well it is just me and my Cute Cat Cleo here and that night I will be in a French class… I guess French is at least a romantic language! LOL 🙂 Wishing you a lovely weekend!

  421. We will be making homemade Valentine’s for the kids’ classmates, friends, and neighbors. And, thinking of Dad, while he is away starting his new career!!

  422. We usually avoid the crowds and stay at home. We’ll make valentine’s with our 3 year old little boy to exchange at school as well. So fun!!!

  423. Unfortunately, my husband will be back overseas for Valentine’s Day 🙁 We’ll skype while the kids and I have Valentine’s dinner!

  424. I’m thinking about a Valentine’s crepe party, inspired by Blond Designs Blog. I think my kids will love it. Nothing elaborate, simple, and at home. And I must think of something special for my husband…

  425. We celebrated my middle daughter’s 9th birthday this weekend! My favorite ways to spend the weekend are alone with my family hanging out, or else celebrating one of my wonderful children with friends and family! Thanks for a chance at a great giveaway!!!

  426. We usually try to avoid the craziness, so we just go out to eat on a different night. Probably something Italian! Yum!

  427. We usually stay home, order sushi from our authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in town with a bottle of sake on warmed tiny cups then get the projector out for a nice movie. Quiet and romantic……

  428. Have to say Valentine’s Day is my ultimately favourite holiday! With my kids, we hand make our Valentines, and, while doing that, having our yummy brownies. With hubby, we just like to stay home away from the craziness. We set up an away sleepover for the kids , and it’s just hubby and I having a gourmet dinner @ home, and then cuddle up on the couch with a chick flick on hand ( love You Got Mail w/ Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks!)

  429. My husband and I will exchange valentines and I’ll probably make a special dinner that evening unless we decide to go out to our favorite restaurant. (in which case I’d better make reservations very soon!)

  430. we love to stay home for valentine’s and celebrate with our 2 boys. we make a nice dinner, heart shaped sugar cookies, sparkling cider & of course no romantic dinner would be complete without candles. we will most likely watch a movie & play a game too! love your new design.

  431. To avoid the general craziness on V-day, we always get takeout & I pick a chick flick for us to watch. Simple, fun and no fuss.

  432. This will be the last Valentine’s Day with just my hubby and I, since we are about to have a baby! I think we’ll celebrate with a low-key dinner and some chocolate cake. But, I’m looking forward to years where it’s a family celebration of love. I just read a book where the family all wrote letters to each other on Valentine’s Day, letting them know what they appreciated about each member of the family. I love that idea!

  433. Love, love, love the new button bracelet!!
It will be a day with my family-no flashy dinners etc etc.
Will be making heart shaped cookies with my 6 year old daughter whilst our 2 year old twins most likely will help out eating the dough!!

  434. All my years growing up at home, Valentine’s Day was a beautiful celebration….candlelight dinner, sweet presents, fancy dishes, and wonderful family conversation.

I am hoping to carry that same tradition into my new family…with my husband and baby girl. 🙂

  435. I love making homemade Valentines with my kids for their classmates, friends, and family.

We also plan to share love with critically ill children and their families by filling small gift bags with small gifts and treats and taking them to the hospital. The love that returns when you give it away is like none other!
