what i wore wednesday

Hi friends! It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration. The kind people at Shabby Apple sent me this vintage inspired dress. I love it–super comfy because of the length.

I think the ruffle at the bottom is my favorite part of the dress.

I’ve got my molded heart bracelet on–you can find the pewter version here for only $68.

And I’m wearing the new for always necklace. love.

Things got really fun with teal tights, Target and red mary janes from Poetic License.

Then I wore the Shabby Apple vintage inspired dress again to the Symphony on Saturday evening.

These are my super comfy boots I’ve had for a couple years, from Anthropologie.

And i paired it with a super fun green coat I’ve had for a few years–i can’t remember where I got it! And a yellow felt flower made by my friend Mignon.

And to finish it off, the brand new petite crest necklace in pewter. Only $42 in my shop.

Yesterday I got dressed after spending Sunday and Monday in bed or on the couch–in jammies. These are new trouser jeans from Target. So exciting! Similar gray sweater, Target. Red mary janes, Poetic License. Black sash, stolen from a dress.

Love my molded heart bracelet.

Around my neck, the new pewter illuminate necklace. {Only $52, what?!}

Vintage blazer from my beloved Ruby Rose. Red lipstick, Revlon, In the Red.

David is back at school today after 7 days home sick {9 if you count the weekend!} and I am ready to reengage with life! Thank you for your overwhelming response to the launch of our new pewter line–you guys really are the best!

Question for you, with spring around the corner, what’s your must-have item for warmer weather?

  1. Hi Lisa,
I have this horrible feeling we have met- as you are just too familiar. I ended up on your blog today as Jeanne Oliver (a dear friend) had posted about your birth story and I followed the link. However, my comment is far shallower than that. I wanted to say, as a mother of four boys, that I love your darling outfits in this post. I am a complete minority in my house and seeing you look so “girlie” even though you too are outnumbered inspires me to make more of an effort and “girl it up” a bit from now on. Thank you!

  2. Hi Lisa,
Started following your blog a couple weeks ago, found through Pinterest. Love the pics, the first one with blue tights is so very Kate Spade this Winter (what winter, I love in FL?) 🙂 Love your work.

  3. Loving the ruffle dress:) My must-haves include red skinny jeans and your molded heart bracelet (love it!).

  4. Lisa, I always love your accessories. Would you consider doing a post sometime about where/how you store all of your (personal) jewelry, pins, scarves, belts, etc.?

  5. I have never left a comment on a fashion related post – as I’m a yoga pants, teeshirt, hair in a messy bun type mommy, but I must say, that is a really cute dress. I’m quite envious that you can wear ANYTHING and look great. It must be nice lol. 😀 Very pretty.

  6. My must have item is hand tooled brown leather flip flops I’ve owned for 20 years. I recently bought a lovely watercolor inspired sundress and am excited to wear it on warm days!

  7. I love your jewerly & your clothes. Nice outfits. They were put together perfect… Down to the mary janes & super cute boots. I wear my Family Tree necklace all the time & get so many compliments. Hope your getting more orders from my word of mouth…. Love your blog LL. Thank you…
