A new swimsuit! I had a baby over a year ago and haven’t been brave enough to buy a new suit yet. But, if I were going to Hawaii, I think I would have to break down and get one :-)

  2. Krystal says:

Agree new swimsuit… Mine is saggy:( and being preggo again I would need a cute maternity one:)
Although a good book would be my second choice!

  3. Gussy says:

i would bring… hmm… a super comfy hammock. and then i’d make sure someone was around to serve me drinks ;]

  4. Vera says:

Even though you were sick, you still looked cute!

  5. Jessica says:

will you show us how to get our scarves to look like the first picture. i bought that same scarf a while back and i can’t figure out how to wear it because it’s shorter. do you pin it? i have several others that length that i can’t get right. and i have that same world market blue floral scarf that you have, but i can never get mine to look as cute. sooooo…maybe a video???

    You will need:
    1. a plan
    2. the means

    …to live there.

    The culture in Hawai’i
    has more concentrated richness
    than any spot on earth.

I wanna go back to my little grass shack……♪

  7. Sarah says:

Um…I’d get a sundress! I think I literally own zero sundresses.

  8. Ruthanne says:

Ooooh. Mmmm. I would splurge on the 24 mm lens.

Not as exciting as clothes, but I could get some fab shots! ;D

  9. Piper says:

I would need a gift for my friend Lindsay (http://aisletoaloha.blogspot.com/). We’ve never met but she is very dear to me! Her husband just left on deployment. I would love to visit Hawaii and spend some quality time with her.

  10. a new surf board 😉

just to try it in the hudge waves…

    yeah 😉 nice…

  11. Denise says:

I’d save some money for the swap meet in Oahu and pick up Hawaiian cover ups, dresses and all sorts of yummy treats!!

  12. Lori Danelle says:

My favorite combos!! Good boots, Target & Anthropologie — though I like to throw in some J. Crew (sale) as well. :)

    Hawaii. . . . Definitely a swim suit cover-up!!!! Haha.

    Too cute, as always!

  13. kristen says:

Lisa, you are adorable! I love your outfits! I was at Target the other day and found a tulle dress on the clearance rack…I think you have one in gray…? Anyway, I’m wearing it today over jeans and I feel a little like you! :)

anyway, I’d buy a strapless tube dress! So summery and fun!

  14. You always look so cute, Lisa! You make me want to go out and buy cowboy boots! I would buy….some new sunglasses! heehee! ♥

  15. HeatherS says:

Trip to Hawaii? I actually have several cute swimsuits, so I’d have to go for a wonderfully long, flowing sundress to go for strolls on the beach.
Lisa – you’re so adorable. Let me ask you – you said you usually wear an 8 or a 10. That sounds pretty much like myself. I tried on skinny jeans at Target though I wear an 8 in jeans everywhere else I went ahead with a 10 because the 8 in skinnies seemed tiny – but the gap in the waistline was awful! Do you have the problem with them? Is there a fix to that?
Also wanted to add – it seems like every time I see you in something I think “I have to have that!” it turns out it’s from a local boutique. I’ll be in your area early May – can you share the name(s) of your favorite local boutiques?
Thanks! You look adorable as always!

  16. Wanda says:

I’d definitely need a new swimsuit. But I’d also want to get some swankified sundresses!
I love looking good & comfy! They go hand in hand!

  17. erin says:

hmm… i agree with the person who said a new lens! that would be super fun!!
by the way, i am ANXIOUSLY awaiting your next free earrings friday to place my next order (*hint, hint*) ;). the bargain hunter in me just can’t allow myself to order before then! (of course, i don’t know how much longer i can wait! haha)

  18. Tiffany says:

  21. polly says:

i would need a new, well to do, generous boyfriend!

  22. julie says:

i would buy a cool lookin, sun blockin, hat! all i own are baseball caps! those just wouldn’t do in Hawaii on the beach :)

  23. Kara says:

Actually I am going to Hawaii in a week from today, I am so excited. A few new things that I have been trying to find were, a new swimming suit (found it) , a skirt or sun dress I am still looking for these.

I love your blog and all your jewerly. My husband got me one of your bracelets for christmas and I love it.

  24. Sheri says:

I absolutely LOVE What I Wore Wednesdays – I think it’s my new favorite read on Wednesdays. Love that you tell us where your outfits + accessories are from, too! Thanks for sharing!

  25. stacey says:

    First :: you are adorable.
Second:: sorry you were sick, (remember it is better to look good than to feel good)
Third:: I would get a great wrap bathing suit cover up that I could use as I walked on the beach!

P.S. On my WIWW today, I show my super cute LL Tiny Initial Necklace! Love it! :)

  26. Pam says:

A cute little sun dress that can be dressed up (for night time) or dressed down (for day). Maybe add one of your gorgeous necklaces and you will be good to go.

  27. Katy says:

lisa! i can’t figure out how to contact you. i asked my husband to text tim to ask marijke how i can contact you but i will be in slo on saturday and wanted to see if you’ll be around! i know it’s a long shot, i just would love to meet you.

    • Lisa Leonard says:

hi katy! email me at lisa at lisa leonard online dot com. not sure what saturday looks like-but it would be fun to see you!

  28. Cutzi says:

Always adorable. I’m curious about the Target skinny jeans… a couple of bloggers have mentioned them lately. Can you share the style?

    • Lisa Leonard says:

mine are mossimo. they are super comfy around the waste (not too snug) but tapered in the leg. i would take a few pairs into the dressing room and see if you can get a good fit!

  29. A new body. Just kidding. Probably a new swimsuit as I haven’t bought one in a couple of years. PS.. You always look so cute and I love this part of your blog.

  30. I would find the perfect pair of shorts! Shorts are something that I just cannot get to work for me!

  31. Kristin S says:

You have a super duper teeny waist we never get to see!

Love that Anthro striped skirt. These hips could never wear that but you look awesome!

  32. Laura says:

I would buy sunscreen and grab whatever t-shirts and shorts I had. A trip to Hawaii would be so dreamy this time of year.

  33. *Just Fran* says:

I would have to buy new sunglasses as I crushed mine today. :-(

Your what I wore Wednesday posts make me wish it was appropriate to do something like this on my little food blog. FUN! (and you are so darn cute!)

  34. debhall says:

a nanny – so we could get some r&r AND still have some family time. : )

you are a great thrift shopper! wish we had so many great ones in columbus, oh

  35. Amy says:

I would take a HUGE hat- I’ve always loved them, but never quite been able to pull it off. At least if I was in Hawaii I wouldn’t have to care if I looked ridiculous!

  36. Lookin’ good mama! :) Actually your “sick day” outfit looks like something I’d wear 90% of the time ha! :) I choose comfort most days, can’t help myself. I think it’s cute!

And, for the question definitely a new swimsuit, because that’d be the only thing I’d wear. In this snow storm all I can think about is how badly I want to see the sun and water and warm warm weather! :)

  37. Darcie says:

*deep breath* I’ve decided that this is the week that I’m *coming out* on a few blogs that I’ve been admiring. Your blog, being one of them! I adore your style…your heart…you talent. Just wanted to say….

And Hawaii?! How nice of you to ask me along! 😉 I would bring a sarong…I’m just not a bathing suit sort of girl.

  38. Kim says:

Seriously cute, I really like outfit #2.

For the question: I’d probably need a hat. A hat that would cover the large bump on my head that I’d receive from falling over if I were to ever get a surprise trip to Hawaii!

  39. Janna says:

You look so sassy!! I’ve had my eye on those allora handmade necklaces but can’t decide on a color. I might just have to copy yours – it looks so cute!

  40. catherine says:

a personal trainer! hopefully i have enough time to get into bathing suit shape.

  41. kelly says:

i live in hawaii, Sorry. all you need is a swimsuit and a pair of flip flops, called slippers here!
