um, oops!

so, i subconsciously stole ali’s word.  i guess it’s such a lovely, insightful word, that after she shared it with me, i accidentally made it mine, too.  thanks for sharing your word, ali!  i love hearing what your words are for 2010–if you haven’t shared yet, please do!  happy new year’s eve!

  1. So I’ve settled on peace. I am seeking peace for myself and my family and I am hoping that I am able to provide some for others as well. Happy New Year! I’m looking forward to seeing your story unfold!

  2. Kindness – a reminder for me to be kind to myself and others. I have HUGE expectations for myself and sometimes those really weigh me down. Occasionally I forget to be kind to others so hopefully this year I will make changes on both fronts.

  3. My word is ‘truth’…being true to myself, my family, and finding the higher truth I am looking for. Happy 2010 to you all, dear Leonards!I am ordering my necklace from you as we speak.! (type?) x

  4. patience (DEFINITELY, patience as I now have a preteen and teenager! I need loads, and load of neverending patience!) :o)

  5. Love the word story and your explanation for choosing it!

Still thinking of mine. And will share with you later.

    Happy new year

  6. Happy New Year, Lisa.
My word is “champagne.” It is to remind me that every day is a celebration, that it is ok to be bubbly and that some things should not be over-done. Also, champagne (the word, anyway!) starts with the same two letters as choice and change. I want to remember to make good choices, and to embrace the changes in my life that are out of my control.
    I wish you many blessings!

  7. Hi Lisa,
Saw Ali’s necklace so of course I had to come take a look. My one little word for 2010 is GRATEFUL!
So often we take things for granted that I wanted to photograph one thing for which I am GRATEFUL each day of 2010.

Now I would like to order a necklace or other piece of jewelry, so I must take a look in your store.
    Thanks,
    Evelyn

  8. I’ve just decided upon my word for this year—risk. I tend to stay on the really safe side of things and within my comfort zone, but this year, I intend to take more risks. I don’t mean in a safety sense, but in a way that gets me out of my comfort zone and prods me to grow and meet new people.

  9. I thought you and Ali did that on purpose! It’s a great choice. When I was at the doctor’s office today my ultrasound tech was admiring my necklace and asked me if it was a Lisa Leonard. Not too shabby recognition way down here in Louisiana, huh? (It was indeed made by you– I received it last Christmas!)

  10. Hi Lisa:
My word is Serenity, explained on my blog post. Had to laugh when I noticed your word was the same as Ali’s.
Have a safe and Happy New Year’s celebration!!! Here’s to great stories in 2010!!
