fallen in love with willow and sage magazine feature!

I have fallen in love with a new magazine! I’m sure you’ve heard of Stampington–they create magazines such as Where Women Create, Artful Blogging and Somerset Life. Such beautiful publications! They have a new magazine called Willow and Sage–and they featured my sister weekend in there. I am so excited! Take a look.

These magazines are worth keeping for years. The photos are high quality with a matte finish. So inspiring!

In August I snuck away for a magical few days with my sisters. We stayed in an airstream trailer and had so much fun talking, laughing and eating amazing food. I want to go back. So bad.

I surprised the sisters with some handmade foot scrub and we soaked our feet. It was so fun and relaxing.

The foot scrub is incredibly simple. It’s just brown sugar grape seed oil and if you want, a splash of almond or mint flavoring for a nice scent. I use it all the time in the shower. It makes my skin so soft and moisturized. Love it.

For a gift, just put into a mason jar and make a little tag. Seriously simple, pretty and practical.

And if you want lots of inspiration for homemade bath products, hop over here and get a copy of Willow and Sage. You won’t be sorry!

  1. Thank you for this GREAT idea! It is a gift I believe I will get for myself later this year (after I move/change addresses) and then be able to gift other women for years to come. I’m a big fan of self-care for women. Thank you for sharing this.

  2. how fun!! looks like an amazing time! love my sisters!!

I love the scrub recipe too! I’ve used Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil and white sugar in my own scrub, but I’m not crazy about it being mineral oil based (petroleum based)… you’ve solved that problem!! I may have to play with this and my essential oils… hmmm. ☺️

  3. Hi Lisa πŸ™‚
this looks like an AMAZING magazine. How fun to have that getaway with your sisters.
I’m going to share your scrub recipe with my 15 year old. She has made one with coconut oil and sugar in it and I am not terribly excited about coconut oil going down my bath drain πŸ˜‰
    Have a great weekend!
