  1. Dont’ you just love those yellow flats from Target! I fell in love with the red ones when you bought them and showed them on there and tried to find them at all our Targets, but no luck. 🙁 They had the yellow ones though and they have become a favorite of mine..but still crossing my fingers the red ones come back some day! ;0)

  2. When I’m craving milk, I eat cereal. I grew up on froot loops, so junk cereal is what i like best, but i don’t wan’t that for my children, so I try not to buy it, as i won’t give it to them. 🙁

    current favorites are:
    cocoa puffs
lucky charms (natural option: Mom’s best mallow oats)
    cookie crisp
    apple cinnamon cheerios

    Healthier choices:
    kashi bluberry flakes/crunch/whatever it’s called
    wheat chex
    shredded wheat

  3. I am a HUGE cereal fan! I could eat it for at least 2 meals a day everyday. In fact, when I was pregnant, it was my go-to snack and my cravings.
My favorites are: Cheerios (all the yummy flavors), Cinnamon Life cereal, and Cocoa Pebbles.
    But there aren’t many I don’t like.

  4. Most cereals give me a headache unfortunately…but I can eat oatmeal…and I do! Current favorite is Starbucks oatmeal with all the mix-ins….it makes a good mid afternoon snack! Home made granola is good too…when I get around to it.

  5. Lisa,
You always looks so cute. I wish I had half the clothes you do.

I’ve always enjoyed a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats with banana for dinner. My husband just doesn’t get it. And in the middle of the summer, on a really hot day, nothing hits the spot like an Ice Cream cone for supper! LOL! Another on my husband thinks is crazy : )

  6. Love the Anthropologie dress! You look great.

I can’t eat cereal, can’t have dairy any longer and not really willing to try alternatives. If I could choose a cereal for fun it would be cocoa puffs!!! YUM! But, can’t have chocolate either. Bummer!

  7. Love your ensembles! They are very inspiring. I always thought maybe I was strange with the whole…”I Love cereal thing,”…until I watched Seinfeld. Jerry loves his cereal too!! LOL

My Favorite “kid” cereal- Honeycomb…I could sing the song???…nah, I won’t bore you! :0)
My Favorite “adult” cereal- Frosted Mini- Wheats or Golden Grahams.

  8. i love the old ppl cereal like raisin bran and such, but give me a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Cookie Crisps and I’ll eat it up!! 😉

  9. I haven’t indulged in this since my eldest was born, but…FROOT LOOPS! Oh, and Frosted Flakes (brad pitt’s fave, fyi!). I miss sugar cereals. I kind of hate being a gung-ho, organic earth mama at times. But perhaps I should put these in my desk at work, no?

  10. Love your blog…I check it everyday!

My favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Cruch. I LOVE that stuff. Reading all these post though makes me want to have a big cereal buffet!

  11. what a fun question. my current fav is golden grahams. pre-kid life I had it for dinner alot instead of cooking just for myself, but don’t think it sets a good example for my kids. (silly, I know) my husband lets them have that when I’m out of town – they think they’re getting away with something. they both love cocoa puffs.

when I was young, I thought what a great inexpensive meal – then I started buying it – and its’ anything BUT cheap. ‘course I probably shouldn’t eat an enormous bowl full when I have it. 🙂 (like 1 cup is enough of a serving!!)

  12. I love the dress over the jeans look, I do that alot these days! Your new dress is super cute!

I love Golden Grahams, Honey Nut Cheerios and Peanut Butter Crunch…I’m like a big kid when it comes to cereal. I typically have a bowl most nights as a snack. 🙂

  13. I love Kellog’s K.
Love love your outfits this week and ‘specially the way you photographed them this week 🙂

I wish there was a Target in Cape Town, South Africa … *but then again we do have Table Mountain – this makes me happy!

  14. I love Quaker Oatmeal Squares! They taste so good and I can take my time eating them b/c they don’t get soggy in the milk. (I guess they do eventually get soggy, but I eat them long before they do!)
I love your outfits too, by the way! I really wish I could put outfits together like you do!

  15. I love your last outfit in this post…so darn cute! Yum, I must admit I love Lucky Charms too. I go in phases though…sometimes cereal sounds good and then I’ll go for weeks without eating it.

  16. Oh my goodness, I {love} cereal, too!! I eat it about 5 times a week for dinner. Plus as many times for breakfast. Right now, I’m on a Frosted Flakes kick.

  17. I definitely also eat cereal for dinner when my husband isn’t around. If left to my own devices, I would eat Quaker Oatmeal squares for three meals a day. 🙂

  18. I love your style, your jewelry and your “what I wore on Wed.” I was lol when I saw your cereal question, as I have loved cereal my entire life and just last night I was thinking of all the different kinds I used to eat as an after school snack. My current favorite is granola that I make. I could (and sometimes do) have it for every meal! (But as you said, that doesn’t fly when my husbands home.)

  19. cute outfits again lisa.

    kashi’s cinnamon harvest w /blueberries. yummy.

however a new favorite cereal at our house is rice krispies w/ mini marshmallows. they too are magically delicious!

  20. New twitter follower from today’s WIWW.

Love how you “organized” your WIWW pics. So fun.
And your stuff is terrific…I will definitely come back and check it out in more detail.

  21. well now you are talkin’!!! my favorites are fruit loops and cocoa puffs! 🙂

again, cute, cute outfits. you have a fun style!

  22. Raisin Bran with whole milk and a dash of cream! Reminds me of my childhood. That was the bedtime snack that my grama would always give me when I stayed at her house. But Raisin Bran is not what it used to be. I remember only liking Kellog’s because Post did not sugar their raisins. Now that I’m older and wiser I would like a no sugar option but they both sugar their raisins now. It works out ok I guess because I don’t care for too many raisins so I pick out the ones on top and give them to my kids. They love them!

  23. Chocolate frosted mini wheats 🙂 I know they’re full of fiber and that’s healthy right, but I’m sure eating the entire box in a day can’t be good for me…

  24. Super busy day today with a million things to do, but during the craziness this thought popped into my head “oh it’s wednesday – gotta get online and see what lisa is wearing!”
That either makes me really lame or a stalker! ha!
But seriously, i look forward to these posts every week! So fun! LOVE the last 2 outfits! Wondering if you got that cream dress recently. I’ve been looking for a cream dress for family photos and can’t find one I like anywhere.

  25. I’m thinking Lucky Charms are my fave but I don’t buy it much because my boys go crazy if they see it in the house. 🙂 Frosted Flakes are good too.

When I was pregnant with our second, cereal was one of the few things I could keep down the entire 9 months. Also, after I delivered our first I strangely called my Dad in the middle of the night and begged him to bring me a big bag of frosted flakes…..and you know who was at my door the next morning 🙂 HA!

  26. Too funny, we are that way at our house. When my husband is out of town, my daughter and I have cereal for supper; she loves it and it’s a treat to her!

    I love lucky charms!

I love the outfits, the dresses w/ the jeans, TOO CUTE!
    Jodi

  27. While pregnant I was absolutely addicted to Reece Puffs. True story.

Love your style Lisa, and how your cute personality comes out in these posts!

  28. I love Kashi ( any flavor) with fresh berries…for some reason my teenage boys don’t appreciate it when I suggest cereal for dinner!

  29. Honey Bunches of Oats without a doubt ! EVERY day
starts with them. I even pack it when we go on vacations. Nothing else compares.

  30. Love the dark skinny jeans!
Cereal is my go-to food. It’s fast, easy and there is a huge selection of it. I {heart} Frosted Mini Wheats!

  31. My fave… Kay’s Natural protein and gluten free cereal. I get the apple flavor. To. Die. For. Yummy!

  32. I love Kix cereal. I’m going through chemo right now and some times that is all I can eat! My little girl loves Apple Jacks, Cinnamon Life, and Golden Grahams.

    1. Theresa, my kiddos love Kix and it is a regular in our home. So, I am one year out from Chemo and although I didn’t have a favorite cereal that I can remember, I did have some favorite foods…most anything lemony was yummy and anything creamy (like creamy soup) Be good to you and enjoy those Kix!
