what i wore wednesday

it’s time to link up with lindsey for a little fashion inspiration. headed to church above, dress from sundance. belt, boutique in santa barbara a long time ago. cardi and sandals, target. you are loved necklace, my shop.

this last saturday was lazy and hot! i stayed in jammies until noon and then changed into a comfy skirt and we went to avila beach. maxi skirt, target. tee, gap, flip flops, bass. {i need new flip flops!} blessed and lucky necklace, my shop. molded heart bracelet, my shop.

can i tell you how much i love this sweater? it was a gift from tea clothing and it’s perfect for laying in the cooler california months and for a trip to beach in the summer. go check out their beautiful and wearable clothing here! white tee, old navy. skinny jeans, banana republic. wedge sandals, targets.

spring break has me dreaming of summer and sunshine and playing outside. if you were planning a movie night in your backyard {with marshmallows, cozy blankets and lots of popcorn} what classic movie would you show? i’m thinking vacation {with chevy chase}, uncle buck {hilarious} or maybe something fun for the kids, like tangled?

  1. You have great style. Thanks for the great give away with V&Co. It is a fun way to find awesome blogs out there.

  2. Oh we are going to start movies this summer! I love your hair by the way. Natural curls rock!

PS Made my way here by v and co.

  3. ohhh no! I was directed to your blog by Vanessa’s giveaway and now I must add you to my reader! sigh. šŸ™‚ too cute, I saw that Tea was adding more than kids clothes and now I must have that sweater and track down that Target skirt…

  4. Love the sweater too. Looks great on you. Sundress is also a fav for me, I really want something like that but I’m 5’1 and everything is super too long. Anyway I think that for our family it might have to be Kung Fu Panda or Tangled.

  5. I just discovered your jewelry thanks to V and Co. and it’s beautiful! Love it! And your how you dress (which does not surprise me as your style transcends in your clothing and jewelry). (Sorry if you don’t understand my terrible way of explaining and my English, I’m Spanish)… šŸ™‚

  7. Hi Lisa,
I just saw the picture of what I assume is you and your sisters while I was shopping on your store’s website. I love all of the curly hair!! I have curly hair too, and I just printed off your picture (hope that’s OK) to take to my hair stylist. Love it!!

I also love all of your necklaces. I’m getting quite a collection. Their simplicity makes them perfect with any outfit.

    Wishing you the best!
    Sheri

  8. Well…you can’t go wrong with Peter Pan….haha …but the first title that came to mind for a night ouside with all the treats….was a favorite Disney movie “Operation Dumbo Drop”. My whole family LOVES it!

  9. I would have to show Roman Holiday for sure. Audrey Hepburn as a princess who escapes the palace and discovers life’s little pleasures, chops off her hair, and falls in love – classic!

  11. Hi, just wanted to say I stopped by from LMM’s blog and LOVE your stuff. My birthday falls on mother’s day this year…which I am not a fan of since I lost my mom when I was 4 months pregnant with my first daughter! I am now pregnant with my third! Winning her giveaway would be an AWESOME way to make the day a little bit easier for me! LOVE YOU STUFF…seriously!

  12. You always look so great, but I love the last outfit, the sweater and those shoes. So Cute!!!!

I would show Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. FUN!!!! and the event sounds great, thinking about it for my daughters 6th birthday party.

  13. I love the photo of you in the blue dress looking at the camera- it should be your author photo if (when!) you write a book!

  14. Just found your blog from Little Miss Momma! Your jewelry is so amazingly awesome!!! Loving your fashion! I rarely get dressed, unless I have to go somewhere!

  15. side note – have I missed chapter 4 in your sister “chrissy’s story” with the girls? I am looking over archives and I see chapter 3 is way back in February. I’m afraid I’ve missed it. ??

  17. You so styled up that Sundance dress! I know if I saw it in the catalog I would never have imgained such adorableness. LOVE the outfits as always. You inspire me to branch out of my preppy mode. Gotta figure out how that will translate in summer clothes.

  18. Love the outfits…that sweater is awesome!

Movie night in my backyard? I think it would have to be Return to Me, Sweet Home Alabama, or PS I Love You…all ones that make me cry…but I love them!

    paige

for my kids….the Narnia Trilogy I think!

  19. We do outdoor movies with all of the neighbors in the summer. There is a wide range of ages. Some favorites have been Shrek, Parent Trap, Big Fat Liar, Toy Story and sessions og Guitar Hero while waiting for it to get dark enough.
    Can’t wait for summer!
