thankful {2012}

It’s impossible not to reflect on our blessings this time of year, don’t you think?

I find myself so incredibly grateful. Our lives and our little family are so imperfect–but that doesn’t mean there isn’t beauty to be found. I’m so thankful for David’s teachers, doctors and the support system around us. I’m thankful for our business, which gives me tons of flexibility. I’m thankful for my husband who works so hard and loves our family well. I’m thankful for our church family who are honest and broken and real. I’m thankful for our extended families who are fun and accepting and committed to us. I’m thankful for hot coffee in the morning and snuggles on the couch in the evening.

My heart is full. What are you thankful for?

  1. Awesome GOD has filled HIS world with all things
    wonder-filled. Every where I look I am amazed and thankful that HE has given me every opportunity to share in HIS gifts. I am so very thankfilled for each new day and a chance to start over from the broken pieces left from yesterday. For my family, friends and all of those souls that touch my heart daily making me whole. Thanks giving comes every day!

  2. So thankful for a creative spirit, for my daughters, for my husband who is an excellent father, for a cozy home, and for curly hair! Oh, and I’m thankful for pie for breakfast today.

  3. Hi Lisa, today I’m thankful for everything I have in my life today.. every tiny little thing.. the birds that are singing, the sunshine, my sprinkler (it’s early summer here and things are getting dry).. just everything really.. I have no need to look ahead.. nothing is more important than THIS day, right here, right now.
    We don’t celebrate thanksgiving here in NZ but I’d love to experience a traditional USA thanksgiving. It sounds wonderful! xxx
