I love that you had a chocolate oreo shake… I am an oreo fiend! In fact, we (my hubs and I) are organizing a community band festival-thing at the end of August and I will be *singing* “Oreo Cookie Blues”. LOVE the Oreo, ESPECIALLY in ice cream – yum.
I love everything except chocolate. I’d rather have my chocolate as candy. 😉
Hi Lisa, here in New Zealand we don’t have basically any of the types of flavours you have over there (the fancy ones I mean). We do have things like cookies and cream though.
My absolute! favourite icecream flavour is rich, pure vanilla bean!! I love the creaminess of it and the gorgeous specks of vanilla.
Now don’t laugh – but I can only eat icecream after dinner at night. I simply cannot face it during the day – how weird is that!! The same applies to chocolate! Hmmm I am weird.. giggle…

right now i’m loving orange sherbet – OR combo of orange,pineapple and raspeberry sherbet – AND i use a baby bowl and a baby spoon to eat it with!!! takes a long time to eat a bit!!!

Love ice cream, even just plain vanilla. Lately I’ve been doing plain chocolate and dipping in spoonfuls of all-natural peanut butter. SO yummy.

Oh Lisa, I love that you treat yourself to ice cream every day! And you have certainly inspired me to seek out a frozen yogurt place here locally. Lately I’ve been buying Trader Joe’s ice cream and it is delicious! Started with coffee. Tonight is mint chip.
mmmmmmm… we love Foster’s too! we can’t have dinner downtown without ice cream or yogurt – or maybe a cowboy cookie afterward. my favorite is a hot fudge sundae, but Foster’s has a hot fudge shake that I’ve never tried and need to.

I used to work down the street from that Foster Freeze!!! would “treat myself” every payday with a hot fudge sundae!
My favorite store-bought ice cream = Trader Joe’s Mint & Chip… the chips are square, melt-in-your-mouth minty fresh! I can’t keep it around because I really can’t resist having a spoon… or two… or four…

There’s this adorable little yogurt place called Mora’s!
I’ve got to feature it this summer on Blooming on Bainbridge…cause it soooo Bainbridge!
The yogurt/icecream is made right here on the island!
They give the doggies a little cup of vanilla!
So my favorite is the PLAIN tangy, sour yogurt!
And for toppings I have them add caramel sauce and chopped walnuts!
One of my all time favorite taste EVER!

Now I grew up in SoCal and can you believe I’ve never even heard of Foster’s Freeze? Is it the same as DQ?
I’m not a coffee drinker (AT ALL), but there something about mocha flavored ice cream that just does it for me. So if there’s anything with that flavor it would probably be my favorite.
Have you ever had The Chart House’s Mud Pie? Now that something to die for.

we have an organic, fresh-every-day, no-sugar-added frozen yogurt place here and i ALWAYS get blueberry froyo. lately i’ve been topping it with strawberries, kiwi, MANGO, coconut, and granola. oh gosh, craving!
