  1. My kids have discovered the “Skippyjon” books. They have us laughing every night, even though we have read them many, many times. My sister-in-law sent my kids some of the “Elephant and Piggie” books. They are great b/c they don’t have many words – if any – on each page. It’s all about the parent really hamming up the words on the page or just talking about what expression the animal has on its face. They are really great for the pre-K/Kindergarten years!

  2. The photos are just so gorgeous, you capture their moods so well!

Mali has a major crush on her books. All her books live in her room. Everynight when we put her to bed, you can hear her in her bedroom, collecting her books. She can’t read (she turns 3 in April), but you can hear her talking away to herself and turning the pages – in the dark i might add.

throughout the night you can hear “clunk clunk” as books fall from her bed, and in the morning there is always a big pile of books on the floor, and a few scattered through bed – I am not sure she gets the most comfortable sleep – though it obviously is a comforter to her!

  3. Sounds like a very cute book. These days I’ve been reading our big boys “The Magician’s Nephew” and surprisingly they’re really into it.

  4. That looks adorable!! Our favorite book right now is I Love You, Stinky Face.
I think the “funk” is in the air, rain, etc. nothing a little chocolate can’t fix! 🙂 Glad to hear you’re over it!

  5. What an adorable book suggestion! I have to get it! One of my favorite stories to read to my son is “Sometimes I Like to Curl up in a Ball”. There are so many favorites!

  6. My 3 year old and I just watched the video. Since he LOVES to be tickled(all.day.long), he was giggling right along with the kids and asked to ‘get that book’. I can’t wait!!!
