Matty just got green crocs. He calls them his ‘cute new green shoes’. David has tiny blue ones. Everyone around here is wearing crocs!! I don’t have a pair myself. I’m more of a flip flops girl. But the peer pressure…

  1. I was checking out some of your older posts (Feb. 16, 2007) to be exact and your work has improved so much! Isn’t it great to look back and see what used to be and look now and see what it really is! Your work is simply wonderful! Good luck to you always!

  2. Yeah, I broke down and bought a pair of Mary Janes. It takes a good day or so to get used to them, but then you LOVE them.

  3. Great picture…Crocs hurt my feet…I think I am the only person in the US this happens to so I am sticking with my flipflops!

  4. I have the same color brown crocs! You will need to get a black pair next! My family loves them.

They are great for water shoes too!

  5. crocs flip flops = Awesomeness! Crocs has a LOT of cute shoes that don’t look like “crocs” – check out their website – LOVE your jewelry by the way

  6. We’re croc-a-holics over here. All four of us have multiple pair. Perfect for the beach and for jumping in mountain streams.

    Your photography is lovely.

  7. I am having peer pressure too… even my 72 year old mom has Crocs… Somehow I have missed the boat:)

  8. I saw those green ones on a little girl the other day, and for a moment I felt like I should have chosen that color. Now I’m feeling that feeling all over again!!!!

We heart crocs in our house. I got my first pair in 2005 and now I keep a pair always. They are the perfect shoe for Portland, OR.

  9. I’m with you. I’m not really into them but love my black flip flops. Show your independence. Don’t cave into the peer pressure!

  10. Right! We were early Croc people – Mountain Man is from Boulder where they originated. My favs now are the girly mary janes as well. Wearing my black ones now. The Tigers are wearing their “UNC Tar Heel” Crocs!

  11. Oh, you definitely have to give in and get you a girlified pair of Mary Jane crocs. I love my black ones.

  12. We’re the same kind of people around here! Hubs and I each have 2 pair and the kiddo has a new pair of Croclings that are so nice because they don’t come off as easy.

  13. Hi Lisa,
I’ve been readin your blog and admiring your jewelry for awhile but I HAD to comment on this adorable photo 🙂
I’m a flip flop girl too, but I’ve become a croc girl in the winter! They are the best for kids, I have 3 boys, my youngest is a little obsessed w/ his! LOL
Anyway I can’t decide which necklace is for me, maybe you can suggest something?? I would like something that had names & birthdates…
Thanks!! Love your site and jewelry 🙂

  14. I love Crocs on the kids. They are so easy – no more water shoes, socks or no socks, cute colors, fast to get on and off. Love them.
I have to say I’m more of a flip flop girl myself as well.

  15. My hubby has the croc flip flops and even at two sizes too big for me they are really comfortable. And the best part is they don’t look like crocs! Highly recommend them!
    Darling photo!

  16. Aren’t crocs the best invention for kids???? Every color, easy to wash, comfy, cute, fun, easy for little ones to get on……What more could anyone ask for?….my girls love them!!!

  17. I like the picture. My Madeline has the Mary Jane ones in hot pink and black. I love them on her!

BTW–I LOVE your new design for the necklace. I love the saying…..look for an order from me soon. 🙂
