hello yellow flowers

Hello to you. Oh friends, I am feeling more hopeful and more present than I have in quite a few weeks. We’ve been under a lot of stress with business stuff, travel and just life in general. And God has met us there. It’s been rough but I am thankful. It feels like a new beginning and I welcome it with open arms. Join me for a some hellos today?

***Hello Monday is where I greet the new week with an open heart and a fresh perspective. It’s a new beginning–and there’s so much to be thankful for! Join me by leaving your own hellos in the comments section or linking up a hello monday post there!***

Hello yellow. It’s the happiest color. And it’s rhymes with ‘hello’. So that’s awesome.

Hello happy David. He has been so engaged lately–silly, cuddly, loving and just plain FUN!

Hello trying to double recipes for dinners so we have more leftovers. It’s great for lunches and great for our budget.

Hello Scrabble. Grandma introduced Matthias to the game and he loves it! And he’s good at it!

Hello warm weather. I know some of you are freezing–and I don’t want to make you feel bad. We’re having a heat wave in Cali.

Hello trying to limit screen time in our house, it seems to take over unless we set boundaries. I hope I’m not the only one who struggles with that.

Hello creating and creating and planning and creating. We have some super fun things in the works.

Hello praying for this sweet friend.
A long hospital stay and a need for answers–this is not an easy road.

Hello sharing over at {in}courage today. We all want to matter, don’t we?

Hello making time for nothing. I’m not good at this, but my soul needs it.

Hello early out for Matthias this week.
It’s parent/teacher conference so he gets out at 1pm every day.

Hello to YOU! It’s a brand new week with so much to be grateful for! Let’s look for beauty together. Leave some hellos in the comments or leave a link to your own hello monday post there!

  1. Saying hello to enjoying the week…to melting snow…to the beginning of track season for our youngest…and for the excitement a new week brings our oldest.

Our oldest child was born with Down Syndrome. He’s almost 29 years old, which, as he reminds me every day…is “almost 30.” He lives at home with us, and is excited for the little things each day. I love your David stories. Your words encourage me. 🙂

  2. Hello to sitting quietly with my grandma as she slips away from us this week. How lucky to have had her for 38 years of my life and how lucky that my girls will remember Grammy, too! Lots of hugging going on. xoxo

  4. Glad to hear you’re getting some reprieve from a hard season. And yes to the screen time thing! Is it a boy thing? Every time you mention Matthias and his interests, I think about my oldest. They would get along well, I think. 🙂

Saying hello to a little exhaustion (boo to night long ER trips), warm sunshine, small spaces and a new spring line launching soon: http://happylittlelovelies.com/2015/03/09/hello-monday-exhaustion-warmth-small-spaces-beauty/
