hello togetherness

We spent Saturday afternoon in Pismo Beach. After a lazy morning of sleeping in and pancakes, we really needed to get out of the house. When we got in the car we were all pretty grumpy. But after burgers at Cool Cat Cafe and ice cream we started to perk up.

Hello happy David. We’ve been ordering him his own drink when we eat out and he loves it. {This one was just water above!}

Hello caramel apples. So fall, don’t you think?

Hello quick trip to LA so David can see the cranio-facial dentist and hopefully get x-rays without sedation {pray for us!}

Hello chilly mornings and blue skies. I love fall.

Hello homework, Matthias is adjusting to 4th grade homework which is harder than 3rd grade.

Hello meetings–not my favorite thing but they’re usually very productive!

Hello need to thrift. Well maybe not need, but want.

Hello brand new week. It’s going to be a good one. What are you saying hello to this week? Leave some hellos in the comments or leave a link to your own hello monday post there.

  2. Hello to getting out my fall decorations…because the only leaves changing color around here are my fake ones…:)
    Looking forward to cooler weather…for now pretty blue skies and nice sunsets…but still hot and muggy.

  3. Glad we aren’t the only ones who start out grumpy sometimes and need to get out of the house to cheer up!

    Hello to home repairs. Hello to my first blogger conference this weekend: The International Food Blogger Conference! Yee-haw! Hello train trip to Seattle, staying in a swanky hotel, and getting lots of tips and swag!

  4. I LOVE my home state of NC but you california girls make me want to pull out the rollerblades, grab a milkshake and head down to the beach (because that’s what y’all do, right?). 🙂 I’ve never been out of the LA airport…one day!

    Saying hello to pulling the house together and downtime after a week of prepping for my first marketplace of this fall/holiday season. I loooove craft fairs and markets.
