  1. Hi Lisa. I have been lurking in your blog for a while, but here I am! thank you for your beautiful posts and being a source of inspiration. I will tell you, if I found those antlers at the thirft store they would come home with me too. We love bones in this house .

  2. I like that you always switch things up…I tend to stick with the same stuff…I guess I like it and don’t want to change it up. The antlers are kind of fun… so why not? I have a brother who always finds interesting stuff at thrift stores…those antlers made me think of him. 🙂

  3. Hello to the melting of the snow that got our entire last week of school cancelled! Hello to leaping over many fallen trees and branches on my way to work this morning. Hello to my sweet high school students who I have really missed! Hello to fun crafts with my daughters this afternoon, a sunny day, book club on Thursday, girls’ night on Friday, and a day in Seattle this weekend with my BFF!
And, after last week, I am saying goodbye to my dream of moving to Vermont….

  4. I love your post this week! I especially love those owls! Did you paint them? Is one antiques over the blue? LOVE!

  5. I’m saying hello to rain that makes it not so hard to focus on work, fried chicken for dinner courtesy of my dad who is visiting for the week, and a HUGE hello to the end of this paper I’ve been working on for months! Hooray!

  6. saying hello to car repairs (yuck), homeschooling my amazing boys, getting organized and a Big hello to God who always provides for our family!

  7. On a more personal note: I just wanted you to know, I think if I had to walk a mile in your shoes, I’m not quite sure I’d make it the first couple steps. God bless.

  8. hello monday!

saying hello to BRAND NEW ruffle designs, fresh snow falling outside, warm hazelnut coffee + taking the day off! a little reward for all the work it took to get the shop re-launched.

    xoxo lisa!

  9. Good Monday Morning. I’m saying hello to a smiling, happy son. I’ve been following your blog for a while and love it. 🙂 I also have a special needs son. He eats pureed organic food. I’ve found the boxes of creamy soups work great by adding mashed potato flakes to thinken to the correct consistency. I grind/pulse the chicken in a food processer until it turns into tiny pieces. That has worked really well for us. Maybe you’ve already tried this too? We also had a hard time getting enough protein in his diet and this has helped. Have a great day!

  10. Saying Hello to a clean house!! Time to go through kid’s closets…bookcases…toy boxes…everything! Love your ideas Lisa!! You give me inspiration!

  11. Love the antlers Lisa!
Hello to being healthy again (and goodbye cold!)…

  12. Today I am saying hello to MORE snow and chilly temps. I for one like the antlers, but then again my house is full of them( hubby is a hunter). Mantel looks great! So in love w/the aqua chair in front of your fireplace. Have a great wk! 🙂
