hello little decisions

Each day requires so many little decisions! Sometimes by the evening I am so tired I feel like I can’t make one more decision. We’ve been busy lately, which is kind of how we roll–but when we’re busy and I get tired, the little decisions start to feel like big decisions. Thankfully we had a restful weekend! I hope your Easter was restful, too! How about some hellos?

***Hello Monday is where I greet the new week with an open heart and a fresh perspective. It’s a new beginning–and there’s so much to be thankful for! Join me by leaving your own hellos in the comments section or linking up a hello monday post there!***

Hello trying to decide which jacket to keep. On the left is an Anthropologie jacket, on sale for $125 {down from $425}. On the right is a faux leather jacket from Target for $40. Did you see this on instagram. Which one do you like better?

Hello debating about which way to roll {or not roll} my jeans. One big cuff? Two small rolls? Or not cuff at all? Thoughts?

Hello loooooving our new monogram collection. This one has my initial on the right, and Steve’s on the left. So fun!

Hello kicking a cold. David’s been under the weather.

Hello Easter candy {that I’m trying NOT to eat}.

Hello breakfast for dinner. Does your family do that?

Hello David’s IEP this week. I observed some classroom’s last week. He’s transitioning into Junior High–which is nuts! I’m nervous but feeling encouraged and hopeful!

Hello letting the house be messy and imperfect.

Hello catching up on Mr. Selfridge. We love that show!

Hello starting a new book. I just need to decide which one!

Hello to YOU! Hello brand new week, full of possibility. Are you ready?!

What are you saying hello to this week? Leave some hellos in the comments or link up your own hello monday post there!

  1. hello new week!

think I like Anthro jacket better – but of course, its 3 times the price! Target at $40 is just as nice.

hello trying to contain the house clutter. : )

  2. Cute details on the Anthro jacket, but I’d go with the Target jacket. The classic lines will take your wardrobe farther. (Just like the sandals you’re wearing them with!)Also, I find that I cuff my jeans differently, depending on my mood and where I’m going. That’s what makes jeans so versatile! It’s fun to window shop with you! 😉

  3. Love the Anthro jacket (love the bottom and other details). Jeans with no roll–lengthens the leg. Great look!

  4. Hi Lisa honey, I love the Target jacket more.. it’s more classic and won’t date. As for the cuffs, I think the one big cuff or no cuff looks great. Big smiles…

  5. Hello, sixty degrees! (We live in NW Montana)
Hello, junkos, tiny birds that are filling our trees with cheerful song!
HELLO daylight, which begins to arrive at sixAM and does not fully depart until 9PM.
Hello fresh eggs for breakfast every morning, thanks to our seven laying hens who are cranking in to full production, due to the longer days.

  6. Happy Monday!
I say keep the Target jacket or both :).
And the big cuff or no cuff.
    I’m feeling opinionated!

I am saying hello to another crazy week with lots of engagements at work, after work. Ick. Not my fave.

BUT! I’m also saying hello to a weekend away on the Oregon coast with my little family. We desperately need a getaway together, so I cannot wait for the weekend.

xoxoxo, Lisa! Wishing David a great IEP!

  7. Hi Lisa. Just popping in to say I think you should keep the higher quality (Anthro) jacket. You will keep it longer and enjoy it more.

Good luck at the IEP meeting! I’m sure transitioning to a new school and situation for David must be stressful. Sending hugs!

  8. Before I read the description of the jackets, I decided I liked the one on the right better. You could get three of them for the price of the one – too cool!

Hello beautiful day – looks like beach weather!

  9. I’d totally go for the cheaper one at Target. Why part with the cash when you don’t have to? That’s my philosophy and I love the jeans uncuffed!

    Such a cute necklace.

I’m saying Hello to blue skies this week, warmer weather, much less desserts, and hopefully Hello to a few things that have gotten a tad snug.

    Happy Monday Lisa!

  10. The jacket is a tough call, huh? I think I said on instagram that I love that ruffle but the sleek, clean lines look of the other one. And I say no cuffs because of the great long and lean look it gives you {not that you need any help!}, but of the two cuffs, I like the smaller rolls better. 🙂

Saying goodbye to a full and fun spring break and hello to a little down time perhaps and my favorite fizzy drink: http://happylittlelovelies.com/2014/04/21/hello-monday-going-doing-and-resting/

  11. I like the ruffle on the anthropology jacket, but the target price tag I like a lot! So, I would probably do the target one. And I like one big cuff on the jeans.

  12. When it rains it pours! Had to replace dishwasher and clothes dryer. I hate adjusting to new things! Came back from church yesterday morning to find water in the kitchen floor! After investagating, our small hot water dispenser is leaking. Hopefully the plumber can get us another one, if not it goes the way of all leaking hot water dispensers.
