so happy it’s saturday. we are in jammies and don’t plan to change that anytime soon. cinnamon rolls in the oven. just about to finish my first cup of coffee and then move on to my next.

i am motivated to tackle a few piles around the house that have been driving me nuts. it will feel so good to have that taken care of! maybe i’ll sneak in a little thrifting? and then date night tonight. this might be my idea of a perfect saturday.

what’s your idea idea of a perfect saturday?

    My perfect Saturday starts with a cup of coffee and some quiet time reflecting on my blessings with a peek into God’s Word. Followed by time spent around the house just enjoying family and then shopping, a quiet dinner with my husband and an evening walk with our dogs. This time of year the scent of orange blossoms fills the air making anything you do joyful!

  4. Today I’m spending the day with my fiancé and his family… That’s pretty close to a perfect Saturday for me! Also, I love counting down the Saturdays until our wedding – 26 weeks to go! {can you tell I’m excited? ;)}

    My perfect Saturday would include coffee, pancakes, open windows with a slight breeze, a good book, a little crafting, and something fun to look forward to in the evening. Sounds a lot like the day you have going! Have a great weekend…

    Getting the house cleaned up and laundry done while hubby puts in a few hours at work, then taking kids to see grandpa & a car show, and later birthday wine & pedi with a great friend. I didn’t realize until now how much I am looking forward to today!

  7. perfect saturday is lounging around by the pool in the backyard with the kiddos!

    A perfect Saturday would mean perfect weather at the cabin – lounging – a bbq brewing – a slow pontoon ride and a nice cold margarita!! Aaahhh … just dreaming of summer I guess.

    {Loved the magnets I ordered for my sister..thanks}

    oh please don’t think I’m crazy. Mine would be sleeping in….then starting the morning with a Pepsi and some biscuits and gravy from Cracker Barrel. Pepsi is my beverage of choice. 😉

    From there, spending time with my babies and DH….and maybe some time with my sister. <3

  12. I really like it when I can get the housework done on Friday, so that I can really relax on a Saturday. My perfect Saturday is sleeping in, waking up to coffee. I like to watch movies or TV shows I’ve missed, staying in bed or in my recliner. Usually around 2 I like to shower and go out to the mall or maybe do our food shopping. Then back home in jammies and que up another movie.

    Also a cup of coffee, staying in PJ’s, getting some housework done, heading up to the pool in the afternoon, then showers, clean PJ’s and dinner on the back porch :)

    Hi, it’s sunday here in New Zealand, but my favourite saturday is a day with high cloud, a slight breeze (it’s early Autumn here) and plenty of time to potter in the garden without having to check on puppy! I really enjoy my own company and crave it sometimes. My hubby is semi-retired so I just don’t get the space to be ”me” I crave. Yes that is my favourite Saturday – space to just ”be me!!” without wondering if I’m doing the right thing all the time.. Love you hubby but it’s like living with a whirling dervish sometimes.. always so much he thinks needs doing or he points out things I haven’t used in the fridge etc.. Hmmm I’ve got it bad, giggle! Sorry this is so long! Smiles..

    Oh, sounds perfect!

    We do alot of that jammie, pancake, playing thing here! And if we can, squeezing in some laundry, cleaning and outdoor projects — which can be fun as a family too!

    anything, as long as my little family and I are together…

    Your Saturday sounds wonderful! I got to spend the whole day with my husband taking a day trip to Cincinnati. It was a fun time, but I definitely can appreciate a Saturday at home. I guess that’s what Sunday’s for this week!

    hi, lisa! i just found your blog, although i’ve seen your sweet jewelry designs all around the interwebs! :)

    sounds like a wonderful saturday! my ideal saturday is coffee + Bible to start, then a mixture of equal parts house work, pancakes, reading, and a movie with my husband! i’m a homebody and a saturday at home is just such a treat.

    A good Saturday night? Haven’t had one of those for a while with the two young boys but I would have to say a nice chilled out read of the papers followed by a good film and a glass of red wine than off to bed with a good book, God I sound old lol.
