david {loves} daddy

oh my goodness. this little boy sure loves his daddy.

and what’s not to love? his daddy is nurturing and fun and all around awesome.

i am so thankful that he is my kids’ daddy. i didn’t think very much about what kind of daddy my husband would be before we were married.

but i’m blessed. he’s a natural–so caring and loving. and of course rough and tumble.

when david was born i had so many questions. how will steve react? can we weather this storm? what will become of our family?

every day steve shows us how much he loves us and that he is committed to us.

david loves his daddy {and so do i!}

  1. Lisa ,

    These pictures are beautiful they brought tears to my eyes , its amazing isn’t it too see our children with their daddy’s and see the looks that they give each-other and to think you actually had something to do with bringing such joy.

  2. What a beautiful set of pictures! Your son definitely loves his dad! But what a rarity to see those kinds of similar expressions for a son from his dad. I mean, ever! Most men hide behind a machismo sort of facade. Don’t they know that this kind of love made manifest is such an inspiration? Thanks so much!

  3. These are so beautiful, Lisa. They capture the love between a father and his little boy so beautifully. I am so touched by your photos and your jewelry. Thank you so much for sharing.

  10. It is interesting to see how your husband becomes a father. I think it’s very touching to see their hearts soften and melt for their little ones. You are very lucky as am I to have one of those “daddy’s”!

  11. You are so very lucky and special. So many times things like this break families apart or one parent is in denial. You are so very lucky. We have a child that is special and it has been a roller coaster ride for us and our relationship. Not easy. And I am the main care giver, nurse and everything else. I would give so much just to have a tidbit of Steve. You are one special family.

  14. What a blessing Steve is to David – and what a blessing David is to Steve. You caught such great shots of the fun and love and care of Steve for David. God knew what David needed and WHO he needed. That includes you, Lisa. What special parents you are to this special little guy. And I think Matty is very blessed, too. love you guys
