  1. got pansies on my front porch – and mums along the back patio. and my pumpkin wreath on the front door. hope to steal away to the pumpkin patch this weekend and load up. now if I can just get all of those summer flowers out of the ground (they are impatients – and still awfully pretty!)

  2. to get ready for fall, i’ve been doing the usual things, you know- apple picking (i’m from Michigan, where the good apples grow), making plans to pick pumpkins, drinking cider, wearing hoodies, i’ve also been looking at http://www.toms.com/ and looking at their fall styles. TOMS is a really cool company that’s also based in California. check ’em out!

  3. Would love to know your paint colors for your home exterior, it’s so beautiful! And you’re already way ahead of me as far as decor goes…beautiful!

  8. Our Fall started last weekend with a hour and half hay ride. The weather was great and a fun time by all. After the hay ride we all filled our bellies with Chili, potato soup, bean soup and all kinds of good snacks that people brought. The kids loved it and what make it fun is they are easy to watch, they are contained to the hay wagon. Look out when we finished kids ran everywhere. We also had a fire with s’mores. What more can you ask for. Happy Fall to All Prayers to your family Lisa

  9. Wow … gorgeous. I planted fall flowers in my planters a couple weeks ago when it was starting to cool off … now it’s warm again! Your porch, though, is stunning! Thinking and praying for you today.
