Hello Wednesday! We are all having the ‘Christmas hangover’, how about you? Matthias came down with strep throat a couple days before Christmas, and David has some sort of tummy trouble going on–which is keeping him from sleeping well. Which means it’s keeping us from sleeping. These are the eyes of a mama who has been up since 3am. But no worries, I’m squeezing in plenty of naps and relaxation. And coffee. Well I’m off to do more laying around, reading magazines, and hanging out with family. And I think we’re going to squeeze some thrifting in there too! I’ll have pics of our family Christmas to share tomorrow.
I’m obviously a yes–I have a few ponchos that I’ve been wearing lately, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. What do you think, ponchos–yes or no?
Hi Lisa! I’m finally getting caught up on reading the blogs after being sick. I had to leave a comment because I bought the flowy top from Target in wine/maroon, but was second guessing how I would wear it. Thank you for the layering idea, I think I would have always been too formal with it! Now I want a poncho… 🙂 Misty

I’m so sad because I bought a poncho and had no idea how to wear it. Then I saw this blog and got all excited about the black target shirt, but they are all sold out of every size but XL. I’m still debating on buying it and getting it fitted. Do you have any other suggestions on shirts to wear under a poncho?

Yes definitely. Any longer shirt would look great with a poncho. You can stick with the color scheme of the poncho or go for another color of your choice. Hope this helps!
