We’ve had lots of wet, rainy weather around here. We’re so thankful! But when it’s wet, my hair won’t behave. Argh, it’s so frustrating! Curly hear has a mind of it’s own!

I’m a night owl, so I always look forward to the time after the kids are sleeping and I can spend a little time doing something for myself.
I’d have to say my kiddos’ bedtime…stories are read, cuddles are given, kisses and hugs all around. Lovely.

3:15 – It’s the end of a school day for me (I teach science to sophomores and seniors). I love my time with them and at 3:15, I leave my classroom and walk to the other side of our school and pick up my favorite little guy in the 2nd grade pod. Then we walk back to my room while he tells me about his day. When we get to my room, he helps me set up the next day’s labs and/or materials and then we head home. I am so tremendously blessed to teach high school at a private school where I know my son is with me, receiving a quality education, just down the hall.
Evening – snuggling is my favorite!

Anytime I can catch a beautiful sunrise or sunset is a great day – such a reminder of God’s power.
I love, love, love the evening after the kids are in bed and the house is quiet. My husband and I can visit or just be together. It is very refreshing after a long day!
My favorite time would be dusk. I am a night owl at heart and the sunset starts off the evening with beauty. Of course, I now go to bed earlier than when I was younger but still love the evening.
I think my favorite time of day is dinner time. We are all together again enjoying each other’s company and sharing a meal.

Probably my favorite time is in the morning. Everyone has gotten ready for school, and we have ten minutes to write in prayer journals. We each take turns praying before heading out for our day. I love this time with my children because it gets the day started off right. It has been our tradition these past 8 years. It began when my oldest started kindergarten!

My favorite time of day is 1:30 when I pick up my little guy from Kindergarten. I love hearing about his “awesome” day and what he played on the playground. Some days it is a quiet time because he has had a tiring day, others he wont stop talking. It is a sweet time that I look forward to!
