in the unlikely event that you have to choose

would you rather wear jeans/pants OR a dress/skirt every day for the rest of your life?

  1. I would definately have to go with jeans / trousers. That is what I wear 90% of the time. My climate is HOT and I find that it can get a little uncomfortable wearing skirts when it’s really hot – they stick in all the wrong places. Sweaty legs are not nice ! I love all your outfits – you look so fabulous – I have to get myself one of those adorable Allora necklaces – they are just beautiful – the only problem is, which colour to choose – I want them all !!!

  2. skirts / dresses all the time. Also, I am IN LOVE with that necklace and am having such a hard time deciding which color I want to buy. Love it!

  3. As much as I love to wear jeans, I’d have to choose dress/skirt. But I’m with Leigh on getting laser hair removal if I was never allowed to wear pants again.

  4. I totally love LisaLeonard! and I love the skirt with boots outfit. So cute!

ps. I hope everything goes well with the heart surgeon. You are such a strong woman. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. <3

  5. I’d probably go with a dress. That’s usually the direction I lean.

I just wanted to let you know that I just posted about the necklace I received from you at The Creative Connection and how it’s got me thinking. If you have a moment, I hope you’ll pop over. =)

  6. You are so cute Lisa! I wish I could pull off a dress or skirt. All my fat goes right to my stomach so the dress thing looks awful on me, so I will have to pick jeans……..by far!!!

  7. Pants, Pants Pants!!! Funny, the hubby and I have been discussing this issue lately. I wish I could say skirts/dresses, as they are definitely more feminine and that’s his preference. But I get so stinkin’ cold all the time, and it’s not as easy running after 4 littles in a skirt. and it’s defintitely not easy nursing in a dress. sigh. how do others keep warm in a skirt/dress in cold weather???

  8. i think i would have to go with jeans…living in MN, since winter is so much longer then summer. if the weather was a non issue…it would be a comfy dress!

  9. Hi Lisa, oh I wish I could say dress/skirt but practicality means I have to say Jeans, jeans and jeans. I spend most of my time on our property gardening so a dress (sob sob sob) is just not practical! I love feeling feminine and I do get VERY tired of jeans.. hmmmm may need to try skirts? Laugh out loud! Smiles…

  10. Jeans….except August in Georgia would be miserable! I said a few prayers for you and your family today. I can’t imagine the inner struggle, but the surgeon would make me a feel a LOT better. Best of luck!

  11. i would wear jeans. probably because i have a job where i have to “dress up” that jeans are my comfy casual, weekend option and i love them. it’s strange though, when i was a kid i HATED jeans. my mom could never get me to wear them.

  12. first of all…you are too adorable!! Love that green necklace and your red shoes!! 🙂
That’s a hard question, but if I had to choose probably dress/skirt 🙂

  13. I’ve developed a new appreciation for skirts and dresses in the last year or so. They are pretty forgiving when you are feeling frumpy–especially around the middle after having babies! And when it’s hot, they are more comfortable than shorts sometimes. I assume it wouldn’t be the same skirt everyday… 🙂

  14. Dresses! My favorite combo is dress and boots…and I’m jealous that it’s already cool enough where you live to wear boots. In TX we have had one cold front but it’s already back into the high 80’s. Sigh.

  15. that’s a tough question! the idea of skirts/dresses is a wonderful thing because they’re so free… but i’m not always the most lady-like, so jeans are really a must. so fine, jeans! (by the way, you’re adorable.)

  16. jeans!!! fun story. I love fall because it means a new season of our Coffee Break Bible study starts up. Yesterday as I was getting dressed I realized that I ” Look Like Lisa” today 🙂 I wore my hair wavy, not straightened and I wore my Guess skinny jeans, my new long grey sweater, and white rouched t and cami underneath, with black ballerina flats.

  17. Skinny jeans! Actually it was through reading your blog What I Wore Wednesday that I finally went a bought a pair. And I LOVE LOVE them! I am already planning on buying some more.
