  1. I’m usually to running a blog and i actually recognize your content. The article has really peaks my interest. I’m going to bookmark your website and hold checking for brand spanking new information.

  2. I recently purchased the RED shoes from Target! Love them! (still breaking them in though!). Also just got a pair of Seven jeans on SALE! YAY ME!

  3. I love your style. Since the birth of my second child three years ago I have sort of put myself on the back burner. My husband is so sweet- he still makes me feel beautiful inspite of my sweats and flip flops, but seeing how cute you look really inspires me to get my act together and start looking more like the woman my husband married almost 7 years ago.

I got my vintage frame intial necklace last week. I love it and have gotten so many compliments on it!

  4. You are stinking adorable and I plan on copying many of those outfits. Especially since I have a lot of those sweaters and htose shoes. 🙂

  5. Visiting via the Pleated Poppy – your clothes are ADORABLE! I’m really wanting your grey dress with the flower, but seeing as I live in Ohio and it was bought in Santa Barbara that won’t be happening! You’ve got such a wonderful style! Cute blog & jewelry too! 🙂 Tessa

  6. You by far have the cutest looks of all the links I clicked on. I’d like to go shopping with you. 🙂

  7. Hi Lisa, gorgeous photos! Love your hair – I have curly hair too and love it. Yikes, my absolute favourite piece of clothing – ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, my spaghetti strap below knee evening dress, it’s black with large red roses on it. It has a low, soft scoop neck and spaghetti straps that cross over at the back and tie in a fine bow. It shows off my shape perfectly and makes me feel ultra-feminine! Oh roll on summer evenings (it’s almost spring here). Smiles..

  8. I’m to scared to try on skinny jeans! I pretty much wear the same thing every day. Tank top, shorts and flip flops.

  9. I have been so enjoying your new wed series. I love seeing what you put together- you have great style. I especially love mixing less expensive items with more expensive items (that I got on sale, of course) and see that you do too!! I need a favorite grey cardigan, I’ve decided.

  10. i can’t wait to wear sweaters again. summer, i loved you, but it is time for a resting fall…

on a funny note. i was in a photo shoot recently and i tried to layer and brave it in a sweater (i live in Houston) and the sweat was horrible. i had no make up by the end of the morning shoot. i ended up loosing the sweater, bunning my hair, and hardly any make up. those shots will be so beautiful, i am sure. : )

  11. we’ve had a super mild summer, about 70* is the high most days. so i layer up and shed as needed. i’m sure those of you in warmer climates are cringing at my sweaters and boots! ha!

  12. Love the Tuesday Target dress, but would have to peel off the jeans & sweater right now! How ’bout the same dress and red flip-flops?! 🙂

  13. You are always so stylish and inspiring! And, also, I really, really can’t wait to wear cardigans and boots and jeans. It’s way too hot here (in Nor Cal) right now, so my What I Wore Wednesday post is not as exciting. I know the cooler weather will be here soon enough! 🙂

  14. I love these posts! Your style is so cute. How can you look so cute everyday?? You are inspiring me to change my style up a bit, but I wonder what you all think about whether a 43 year old mom can pull off some of these looks…or do I need to be less trendy. I always like trendy…

  15. you are too cute! I love gap. period. it is where most of my wardrobe is from. i might be bias because i worked there for 3 years, but i really love them. also… i am going to have to start shopping at target more – your dresses from there are adorable.

  16. i can never wait to see what you’ve been wearing! just had to tell you i just bought the tuesday dress from target–only mine was clearanced further to $6! i didn’t know i was so fashionable–now if i can only put everything together as cute as you do!

  17. Hi Lisa
I really enjoy your blog and jewelry.I found a cute blog called “New Dress A Day 365 days,365 New Outfits,365 dollars.(http://newdressaday.wordpress.com)
Its about a young lady who loses her job, but uses her creativity to boost up her spirits. She buys thrift store and vintage dresses for a 1.00 and remakes them. They are fabulous. She had mad skills with the sewing machine and a great designers eye.Check it out, it may inspire you more for “What I wore Wednesdays”. Keep doing what you do Lisa. I really admire you, and you are such a great mother and wife and friend.(I can see it in your pictures).
    Have a great day

  18. You look so cute!! My favorite piece of clothing would have to be my eggplant purple cardigan….from marshall’s ….it’s the most beautiful color and it’s sooooooo soft. I feel like I’m all wrapped up in honey lovey when I have it on. Eggplant is one of those four universal colors….you should read about it, you’re so artistic….Eggplant, Indian Teal, Red and a rose/pink color. They say that these colors look great on everyone. I’ve been trying to get scarves in all those colors….but my favorite accessory, if that’s a clothing… 🙂 is my brown and beige striped linen scarf from Marshall’s again. It’s cozy and it matches everything even though you would think it wouldn’t . I still scare myself when I think about how I originally bought it for my mother-in-law’s birthday. When I got it home I realized it was Made in Italy and then mulled over whether or not to keep it for myself….oh the horror! What if I gave it to HER? It would be a drawer (or worse) in Florida trapped forever away from her true soul mate!

  19. Lisa, you have inspired me to take the plunge and buy my first pair of skinny jeans! I hope I can rock them as well as you can, you are so adorable!!! Love your outfits, please keep up the What I Wore Wednesday, it is so inspiring to my closet 🙂

  20. You look adorable Lisa, and have inspired me to start shopping more at Target! Especially since our budget has been rather tight lately. Another one of my favorite places to shop is the Gap Outlet. Love that store!

Favorite piece of clothing, hmm… not sure that I have one but I do love one of my romantic, dreamy, comfy, long nightgowns, a LOT!

  21. How I adore all of your clothes. How can you wear a sweater in the summer? Its so hot here in Ct and humid. I would love to wear a nice little sweater now over a dress. you are lucky, is it breezy there all the time?
    happy day Lisa
