getting dressed for a wedding

I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration.

We went to a beautiful wedding on Saturday evening at an estate between Los Osos and San Luis Obispo. The weather was gorgeous–sunny but not too warm. I knew the wedding and reception were outside–so I really wanted to be comfortable.

I got this dress on sale at Anthro a few months ago. I had planned to wear it when I spoke at Snap! but ended up wearing something else. So this seemed like the perfect opportunity to break out a new dress.

These shoes are  basically just plain comfortable–and for an event where I know I’ll be walking on gravel, grass, etc–that it a must.

The little green clutch is a thrifted find that I fell in love with! It’s the perfect size for my driver’s license, cell phone and lipstick.

I added a few bracelets and kept the outfit very simple and streamlined.

Outfit details: Dress, Anthropologie. Cardigan, Ambiance. Shoes, Payless. Clutch, Thrifted. Beauty in Brokenness bracelet {oh how I love this piece}, My shop. Down to Earth bracelet, {also love love}, My shop.

Are you going to any weddings this summer? Aren’t weddings inspiring?!
