  1. I live in the southwest corner of Minnesota. This morning we got out of school at 10:00 because of another winter storm. We probably got around 5 inches of snow and the wind is blowing all that snow around…along with the 6 inches we got late last week…hopefully we are done for the week…hope to travel on Christmas Eve…have a great Christmas!

  2. Hello!

I am in frozen Duluth, Minnesota on the tip of Lake Superior up in the Midwest. We just survived a blizzard about a week ago and look forward to another eight inches falling tonight. The temps at night have been a freezing ten below zero. Last year at this time it was nearly forty below so I think we are looking up!

  3. Sunny and warm here in Australia. Hoping it is not too hot for Christmas though. The pictures are beautiful, I second the question what lens do you use?? Dont know how you get work done wiht such beautiful scenery around you…or is that why your work is so beautiful?

  4. SIGNIFICANTLY colder here . . . well, since it’s not really cold where you are, I should really say that it IS cold here. 🙂 just kiddin’, I know that for you guys it is cold, but the real cold is here in Minnesota (among other places, I know). Today is warmer than it was a couple days ago, but we just get excited when the temperature climbs ABOVE zero! So, we mostly stay inside.
Enjoy your “glorious” weather — it’s all about perspective!!

  5. -5F or so with over a foot of snow fallen in the last 48 hours and still more coming down. Perfect Christmas weather for Northern Alberta! 🙂

  6. Mississippi is a bit dreary today. 41 degrees and it might as well be -41. We start to bundle up tight when it hits 60, ha! Central Mississippi has had snow the past three years and all the kids are keeping fingers crossed that it visits us again this winter.

  7. On the opposite side of the world and much further south – in Australia – we are finally enjoying some much awaited hot weather! Loving this warm weather although I have always dreamed of a white Christmas…

  8. Brrr…..baby it’s cold outside! Here on Long island we’ve had some blusterry days and this weekend we are looking at snow ~3-6 inches. Perfect to sit and look at the Christmas tree, wrap gifts and drink tea/coffee/hot cocoa. I’m excited!

  9. It’s a beautiful, sunny, crisp, cold day in Seattle! The Pacific Northwest is amazing on a day like today! Counting the days until my niece’s new mommie necklace arrives 🙂 So excited to share your beautiful work with her, Lisa!

  10. We’ve just had a walk in the snow, it was around 5 inches on the cars and more on the roads. It looks like Narnia here in North Wales today

  11. I just wanted to say that I LOVE your blog!!! I just recently found it through The Pleated Poppy, and I find myself coming back every day. Your pictures are fantastic, your crafts are super cute, your style is amazing, and your jewelry … well it’s just lovely 🙂 LOVE all of it!!! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

  12. Yesterday is was Spring-like. It’s like early Fall today, but tomorrow night it’s a hard freeze – hardly Christmas-y but, if you don’t like the weather in central Texas, wait 5 minutes, it’ll change!

  13. same! we’re just 2 hours inland from you and so we often get the same storms….too bad we don’t always have your weather though! 😉

  14. lovely, beautiful, stunning shots! It is -6 this morning, the trees are all frosted for Santa’s arrival and the snow responds to each step with an echoing crunch! Happy Holidays 🙂

  15. Chilly here in Iowa, currently 12 degrees with a high of 23 today. Brrr. But the sun is shining and it looks beautiful with the snow we have on the ground.

    Your photos are lovely!

  16. We are awaiting a Nor’easter here in the Mid-Atlantic. Hate the storms, but for some reason LOVE the word. I have always wanted to paint it on a wall in a mudroom! Have a wonderful weekend!

  17. your pictures are so pretty! There is snow on the ground in Iowa and the temp right now is 11 degrees with more snow coming this weekend! Its starting to look a lot like Christmas!

  18. It’s dark, cold, windy, snowy and icy. I’m sending in a record number of applications to hospitals in California and Hawaii this week!
