hello fall mornings

Yesterday was the first official day of fall. As far as I’m concerned, once the kids start school, summer is over and fall has begun. But now the calendar agrees with me.

I de-cluttered and cleaned the house this weekend. I threw lots of old magazines in the recycling bin and even spent some time sorting legos {oh my.} I got pumpkins for our front porch and made bats out of card stock to put around the house. It’s feeling like fall. And that’s making my heart happy.

The weather seems to be falling in line as well. The mornings have been wet and cool. The dew stays longer and the air is crisp. Let’s say hello to all things fall.

Hello shiny dew drops. Hello cooler mornings.

Hello mums thriving in our yard. You are lovely.

Hello pumpkins and picking out costumes for Halloween. Matthias wants to be a magician. I’m not sure what David will be.

Hello flying to Tybee Island to be with my {in}courage friends. I am so looking forward to it!

  1. Hello to getting things outside ready for fall. Sprucing up tired plant containers, knocking down spider webs and maybe- maybe a little weeding. I love walking up to a refreshed front entrance. Your photos are beautiful btw!

  2. I’ve had a pumpkin spice latte and since the weather has cooled a bit I sipped it with a smile on my face. We moved over the weekend… hello fresh space and a bigger home and so much inspiration 🙂
