  1. I love the fall too and am especially excited right now because my baby sister (12 years younger than me, I’m old) got engaged last week! She would like to get married next fall – yeah and so that makes everything more exciting too. Anyways, I seem to remember you doing some posts on weddings not too long ago and was wondering if you could share anything (links, ideas, tell me where to find on your blog, etc.) with me. My sister knows that I LOVE to look at different blogs and so she assigned me to finding fun, unique ideas. Anything at all that you could provide to me would be great. My e-mail is: [email protected]. I’m just hoping you read this post since it is a day or so old…..but I found it most appropriate to put on here (and couldn’t find an e-mail to contact you at). Thanks so much, love your blog!

  2. Hi lisa my fav part of autumn (we call fall, autumn here in NZ) is the changing colour of the leaves.. I adore it!! We are in the middle of Spring right now and I am REALLY enjoying watching the leaves emerge fresh and green on the trees. How weird that I am in Spring and you are in Autumn.. amazing isn’t it? Hugs and smiles…

  3. I love leaves falling in my hair on my walk home from work. I love all the fall baking!!! Pies, galettes, tarts, pumpkin breads….mmm. Fall smells good. I actually love the surprise of the furnace kicking on for the first time in the middle of the night in MONTHS.

  4. My ‘fall love’ right now is starting new traditions with my 4 month old… even though only 4 months I love the thought fo yearly/seasonal traditions. I took him to out local Apple Fest here in IL this past weekend… and we are headed to a sweet little pumpkin patch this weekend. SO FUN!!

and drinking the yummy coffee I picked up at a cute lil coffee shop, and picking fall leaves for art projects, warm cozy sweaters, the smell it brings… I can go on and on and on…

I mimic the post by Susan Robinson… I grew up in Colorado, and driving to Evergreen seeing the changing Aspens is beautiful.

  5. My family drove by fields of sunflowers and pumpkins the other day and it made my heart sing. I wanted to jump out of the car and run through the pumpkin patch to the sunflowers and take pictures. Seeing this now has made me smile all over again.

    Much love.

    xoxo

  6. Love wearing cropped pants and boots in the fall! And started a new Beth Moore study today….such an awesome day! Cloudy, dreary, fallish…awesome!

  7. I’m a fall-a-holic!
    Not even kidding!

I can’t find anything boo! about fall!
I love it. And Indiana, is gorgeous this time of year!
    Even the smell…yum!

  8. I love walks on the beach with my cafe mocha looking for beach glass, roasting marshmellows and sipping hot chocolate with my boys. Making cookies so that they are warm when they come in from school. Going to the pumpkin patch to see that my boys are not really to old to still go.

  9. Love your photos!! Autumn is my favorite time of year! I love the changing of the leaves, pumpkins, dried cornstalks, scarecrows in flowerbeds, cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks!!

  10. Lisa,

I need your help! I LOVE how you post pictures…in a grouping…with a few pics next to each other. How do you do that? Maybe it’s a setting in your website. I’d love to do that but I have no idea how.

I should say I’m HTML intollerant.

    Thanks!
    Jenny

  11. Apple crisp. YUM. Sometimes with some cranberries thrown in. Roasted chicken with roasted mustard potatoes. Homemade lattes (this is year round for me). Pumpkins. My kids choosing their Halloween costumes for the first time. (sniff, sniff). My favorite…..cooler give me a super invigorating run, especially in the wee hours of the morning! 🙂

  12. My favorite thing about Fall in Colorado is driving up to Evergreen and seeing the Aspens change color. It is the most breath taking sight. Our family drives up there and takes our new favorite….this is so cheesy……..Safeway Market makes their own brand of cookies and they come in a plastic container and they are called pumpkin spice cookies with cinnamon frosting and chocolate sprinkles. They are soooo good. I know it sound cheesy, but we look forward to those cookies every year along with SIMPLY brand apple cider. A drive to see the Aspens and the cookies and cider.
    LIFE IS GOOD!

  13. I love spiced apple cider, making soup on a crisp fall day, watching football with my kids, chatting with the neighbors while out working in the yard, and getting my boots and sweaters back in my closet!

Love your photos – you have a great eye!

  14. fall is such a gorgeous time of the year. i love the feel of the air and the scents it brings. we’re planning on hitting up one of our local pumpkin patches this weekend and can’t wait to see how our itty bitty reacts to it all!

  15. Looks like such a fun time! I can’t wait for our trip to the corn maze and pumpkin patch this year! We also have a fall tradition of going to a local Apple Festival – it’s so much fun! Fall is my favorite time of year! I love apples, pumpkins, the crisp/cool air, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, apple cider, Taco Soup, fall-scented candles… I could go on and on! Thanks for sharing your pictures! 🙂

  17. I love fall too. And your pictures are great. My son is going to a pumpkin patch this Friday (with school), this Saturday (with me and my husband) and on Monday (with camp). Luckily they are all different pumpkin patches! I wish I could go to all three with him. 🙂
