i found an awesome app for my iphone called shakeitphoto on shutter sisters via ali edwards.

it takes your iphone pic and turns it into a digital polariod.

totally addictive.

so yesterday i documented parts of our day in polaroids.

a very rainy day. very, very!

you can see my keyboard.  we spend a lot of time together!

i packed up markers, a notebook and snack for matthias so he could hang out at daddy’s office

while david and i headed over to radiology for more tummy xrays.

(still waiting for results, but i’ll update if i hear).

thank you for your kind comments yesterday.

i ‘ve been feeling frustrated and worried about david.

today’s a new, fresh start.  praying we get some answers today!

UPDATED

the GI office called and said david’s tummy xrays look great-no build up in the intestines, no excess gas on xrays.  so we are taking him off miralax to see if that helps with the cramping and pain.  hoping, hoping!!

and i’m over at (in)courage today.  so hop on over!

  1. I have been having so much fun with this app. Thanks for sharing. I don’t know who loves it more my 4 year old or me! The iPhone is hands down the best invention EVER!

  2. Hi Lisa,
Visiting you for the first time through Joy’s Hope, and had also saw your beautiful jewelry just before that, when I donated to Hope for Haiti! I wear a necklace with my kids names, similar to the necklaces that you make (a girl I went to high school also has a business similar to yours)- I wear it everyday! I love that you will also put sayings or verses and other art, so pretty! I commented on this section because I just downloaded an app for my iphone that is similar-Hipstamatic-so much fun!

  3. Hi–was just reading about David. I just wanted to mention about the gluten allergy too. I was having terrible trouble and pain. I have always had trouble with constapation…..UNTIL I stopped all gluten (wheat, barley, rye)–you do not have to have celiac disease to have this problem. You can just be gluten sensitive and have the exact problem. They are discovering new things about this all of the time. It took me quite a bit of time to discover all the things that had these gluten items in them because it is amazing what you can find them in!! (ie lots of nuts have wheat, soy sauce, blue cheese, etc. ). Just thought I would mention it.

  4. Lisa,
The miralax seemed to hurt my little one too much also. We ended up doing bloodwork and found out she has an allergy to Dairy and beef. Have them check him for stuff like that.
Belle can eat Dairy and Beef, but it will give her a bad bellyache. Like I said yesterday, she has a bellyache every single day. Sometimes with throwing up. He could have an allergy to Wheat also, Just enough to bother him, but maybe he just can’t tolerate it.
good luck. I know how hard it is
    wonderful pictures

  5. lisa….
glad that david’s xrays were clear and good! hope he gets to feeling better! my daughter was on miralax for a time when she was younger, until i started doing research on it. it is not very good, especially long term. i started, instead, using cod liver fish oil in place of miralax. it was great! and healthy and good for her. i just wanted to offer that little bit of information…you may already know. all that to say, i hope taking him off of miralax will help his symptoms. good luck and please keep us updated, we will keep him in prayer! thanks, as always, for sharing your day with us. love it!

I read you almost daily & never comment – but had to laugh when i saw your header today about shaking like a poloroid picture – I have been singing that little line for the last few days to my son & then yesterday we actually heard the full song on the radio. so funny that is what your blog title is today!

hope David continues to feel better –
