selah {giveaway}

Many of you probably read the blog, Bring the Rain, have listened to the music of Selah and have followed the beautiful story of Audrey Caroline.  This amazing couple gave birth to Audrey and lost her on the same day.  Their story is one of beauty and grace in the midst of pain and heartache.  And all the while, they let us journey with them.  If you haven’t read the story, you can start here.

Angie and Todd are giving away three of the brand new Cd ‘You Deliver Me’!!  I’ve got the Cd’s right here on my dining room table, next to the birdcage.  Included are the song ‘I will carry you (audrey’s song)’. Beautiful.  and also track #2 that stopped me in my tracks.  I replayed ‘How Deep the Father’s Love For Us’ three times just to soak it in.

  1. I just found your blog on Bring the Rain. Reading it will be another blessing to my every morning! 🙂
We love Selah’s music and know this new CD will be more beautiful worship music!!

  2. I love Selah…awesome worship!
I love you too! Just found you from Bring the Rain…love your stuff. Well…it’s not ‘stuff’…but you know. darling necklaces, bracelets, men’s things, etc. 🙂

  3. So, I’m sure it’s probably WAY too late to win after 331 comments, but I just wanted to say I’ve heard good things (GREAT things, actually!) about that album. My friend’s mom just bought the CD as she loved the music she sampled at the Parable, and seeing as her daughter had named her new horse Selah, it was quite appropriate! 🙂

  4. I would love to hear a full CD from Selah… I have followed her story for about a year now and love her inspiration she gives out!

  5. Hi. I found your website today by following the links… I am 5 weeks pregnant, (with my 5th child), and my HcG & Progesterone levels were low. I was looking up as much info as I could (online), followed one link to Audrey’s song/site, then to the beautiful jewelry, then to this. Each of these sites had pictures, songs, &/or written words that made me cry. The pure beauty, that I have only had the time to skim over, (before running to my doctor’s appt), gives me a whole new appreciation for the internet (to say the least). And now, I truly “get” what blogging is all about. Not for the rediculous “I’m running errands today and then seeing a movie later”! But for sharing experiences, to help people, reach out, give hope, advice, help, share our magical moments, the beauty of a song that touches every mother’s heart, the beauty of a photo – of a child’s beautiful face, or of a family with all of their hands on their mother’s pregnant belly. To all of you beautiful, creative, artistic, people out there, that have shared such beauty – I would like to personally say “thank you”, you truly do make the world beautiful. -Michelle

  20. I received the new Selah CD, “You Deliver Me” for my birthday. I’d heard Selah on my favorite radio station, K-LOVE, when they sang a song “Unredeemed” from their newest CD, soon to be released. I listened to that song time and again and knew I had to have that CD … thus, the birthday present. Every single song has touched my heart in a very significant way but I was overcome with emotion when I heard “I Will Carry You” and read the story behind it. Our family lost precious little Kaleigh just days before she was to be born … her unbilical cord had wrapped tightly around her neck, cutting off her oxygen supply. We too, loved her for a lifetime in those few hours while we held her, took pictures and prayed together. We like to say that she was born still, in God’s arms. This song has a special meaning to my family!

Okay, I now know that I can’t listen to this CD when I’m getting ready for work and putting on makeup … it’s a lost cause because the tears simply flow freely! :^) Thank you for your ministry in word and song!

  21. I just found Angie’s blog and saw your jewelry. It is beautiful. I would love to get some. I also love Selah. My mom passed away this past March and we listened to one of their CD’s to get ideas for the music at her funeral. I would love to have one of their new CD’s. Thanks.

  29. You can imagine my surprise when I hopped over to Angie’s blog this morning and saw the wonderful post about you!!

I don’t know if you remember or not, but I am the one that ordered 6 dog tag style necklaces a couple of years ago with the initials of 6 girlfriends on one tag and the word SAC on the other that stands for “Shall Always Cherish”. We all still wear our necklaces quite a bit, especially when one of us is going through something particularly tough.

I love seeing what God has done with your business between then and now!! I absolutely love watching Him at work and think it’s awesome that He’s inserted Himself smack dab in the middle of your jewelry business!

  30. My daughter is in her 6th month of pregnancy. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 on Friday. Trisomy 13 is 100% fatal. The baby will live hours to days. Today I opened my e-mail from her and she had that song playing. Would love to send her the CD. Thanks for your blog. I read it everyday.

  31. My girls and I love listening to the only Selah CD I have while we cook dinner. We would love to have the newest one! Thanks!

  35. I already ordered the mp3 from Amazon, but I would love to win a copy for a friend of mine who I know would love it. The Lord’s Prayer is my personal favorite, and my son (5 months old) loves Glory to His Name. : )

  37. I am a huge fan of Angie’s blog and through her, discovered yours. Thank you for the chance to win a cd. 🙂

  39. God has just led me to both of your blogs. Can’t wait to have more time to read. I am amazed. So inspired! I absolutely love your jewelry! I love jewelry…feel one day I too will do something with that.(smile!) And yours is INCREDIBLE! Hope to be able to get some one day!
    Thanks for doing the giveaway.
    Blessings to you!

  40. Incidentally, I also found out, at 19 weeks, that my son had many problems that would not allow him to survive. He actually had no kidneys at all his lungs weren’t developing..I had no amniotic fluid..I was counseled to abort, but his little life was so strong in me there was no way I could end it. The Lord blessed my husband and I with a full term pregnancy and Joshua was born on his due date. It was amazing, sad, bittersweet, but the Lord has done miracles..and I mean MIRACLES to show us He is right there with us..I so would love to share some..

  41. What a blessing it is to be able to share in others’ lives and know the love of God through them. Thanks for highlighting Selah and their music.

I lost my first child the day he was born, too. He has touched more lives than many I know. And he is in perfect peace in loving arms.

  61. Hi Lisa,

I have been following Angie’s story since day one. And…she introduced me to YOUR website. I had been touched by selah’s music even before Audrey’s life…and would love to have a copy of their latest album.

Restsing in the depth of the Father’s Love…
    Taylore 🙂

  62. Lisa- Your blog is very inspirational to me….You and your family are such a blessing to many…Thank you for following your calling.

  63. Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for sharing the story of Angie & Todd and their precious & beautiful baby Audrey. How sad to lose your child the same day she enters the world but we know as Christians that God had a plan in this as He always does and look at the wonderful blessings that came of this tragedy! It touched my heart so deeply because I am a faithful follower of Selah’s music. God bless you my friend!

  64. Selah is my all time favorite group… their music moves me and always leaves me feeling more connected to my Savior!

  65. Thanks for sharing about Angie. Have not actually read her blog before. I love how God brings the right people at the right time with the right words when we are at the point in our lives that we just don’t know, or can’t take, the next step. Or just get the reassurance that things are going to be fine through it all, no matter how hard the task or trial. And as for the giveaway…one of these days I’ll win something and I’ll be shocked. Could it be this time?

  66. I just came to your website via Angie’s giveaway! 🙂 I have already bought a copy of the CD but I would love to be able to give this to a friend if I am blessed to “win”! 🙂

Thanks for offering this gift to someone! It is such an incredible CD!!!

  67. I would love to win a copy of this CD. I have been wanting it for a while now! What a blessing Selah has been to my life the past few years. My husband and I experienced a late miscarriage in 2006, after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the town and home we lived in. I haven’t won anything ever and would just love it if I won this Cd!

  68. Wow.. I’ve just spent the afternoon reading up on what being a fosterparent is all about, after an article in the newspaper told the story of the 40 (!!!) local children in need of loving parental figures. I feel that the time is not now for me to do this, but give me a few years and this is something I would like to do.
To think that children, no matter how long they stay with us, give us the opportunity to become such improved human beings.

  69. Ahhh, I’ve loved Selah for years! I haven’t gotten this new CD yet but can’t wait to hear it. I’ve been a “Sunday” as Angie calls us faithful readers for almost her whole journey. 73. I love Angie’s blog and her sense of peace and love amongst such heartache. We are currently experiencing our own heartache in the inablity to conceive a second child, and I know that this CD could help bring a sense of calm and peace to my often busy, hectic, running from fertility doctor to lab and back again type of day. OBTW, i love your jewelry too!!

    Debbie

  76. Thanks for the chance to win the CD! My husband and I are anxiously awaiting Sept. 24 as that will be the day we deliver our little girl (3 weeks early) after 7 weeks of bed rest, 2 miscarriages and being told our chances of ever having children of our own were virtually non existent!! Todd and Angie’s story of strength and trust in the Lord in their time of loss has had a huge impact on my outlook! You have a beautiful blog by the way!!

  77. I love Selah and Angie’s website. And now, I love yours! Your jewelry is amazing…I will be showing my husband as a hint for my birthday, christmas, mother’s day, just because he loves me…. 🙂

Your blog has helped me to find so many other fun blogs too. Thanks for a chance to win Selah’s
music. One of our friends lost their son on the day of his birth. It is hard for any of us to understand
the depth of their pain and loss. What a tribute song to Audrey!

  88. I have followed there website for months now, and their story is amazing! I am very inspired by the Smith family – but have never owned a Selah CD! Hope I’m one of the lucky winners!!

  89. I love Selah! I’ve read Audrey Caroline’s story since she was in utero. What an amazing journey it has been for them.

  90. Hi Lisa!!
I have been to Angie’s blog and prayed for her family through their difficult time. I have only heard the music of Selah on her blog, but not otherwise. I would love a cd to open my world to a new group!!
