thursday and friday last week were devoted to cheering on the riders in the tour of california. steve loves cycling, so we are thrilled that professional riders pass right through our town. the time trials in solvang are a great time to see the riders up close–that’s lance on the bike. other highlights…yellow chalk from lance armstrong’s foundation, free cotton candy, a dog wearing goggles?!, shoulder rides, and starbucks coffee. love my starbucks (when i can’t get my nutty bean!!).

Oohh, you’re so lucky to see Lance in person – he’s a personal hero of mine! He was in Australia recently for the Tour Down Under but it was too far from our home to go and have a look!
