what it means to me {fall collection}

Dear friends, thank you for your response to the new fall collection. Your kind words and encouragement mean the world to me. I am grateful for YOU.

Preparing this new collection was a labor of love–and I am thrilled with the way it came together. The collection is based around the idea of ‘old made new’. We’ve taken old, dusty and forgotten things and turned them into treasures. What was forgotten has been renewed.

The held together necklace is created from part of a clasp on an old bag that I found it at an estate sale. The bag was broken and beyond repair. But the clasp had such a pretty shape that I thought it might have potential. It sparked an idea and I was inspired.

I believe there is beauty to be found in brokenness. Taking something worn out and giving it new life is exactly that!

This is how I want to see the world. I want to look with careful eyes and spot beauty where it might be overlooked. I want to search through the rubble and find bits that shouldn’t be thrown away. I want to take those little bits and turn them into something lovely. Something meaningful.

I believe what was once old and broken can be made new. I’m not just talking about bags, clothing and furniture. I’m talking about broken relationships, hearts that have been hurt and dreams that have died. In those broken places, new beauty can emerge. Love can blossom. Hearts can heal. This is where I want to live. This is where I find hope.

Will you join me in looking for beauty today?
