Hello giraffes. I think they are my favorite.

Hello close encounter with a gorilla. This was one of our coolest experiences at the zoo.

  1. That photo with the gorilla reminded me of a gorilla we have at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. He has escaped twice. Once they found him sitting at a bus stop. I guess it’s pretty frightening to encounter a gorilla on the streets of Boston, but for those of us who didn’t happen to be waiting for a bus that day, it’s also pretty funny.

  2. Hello to a night with the girls for Bunco.
Hello to the Brevard Zoo…which we have been planning to go to…but it was to much of a “zoo” (I just had to say that 🙂 ) so we will wait until after all the spring breaks are over and everyone is working or at school…then we’ll go. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to ours……and your zoo pictures made me want to go even more.

  3. Hello cheerful encourager (you!). Lisa, I am new to your blog and love it. I’ve been reading back through older posts, and I just love your outlook on life. Thanks for sharing and God bless you and your sweet family. P.S. also love your jewelry!

  4. Hello to taking a sunny day to wander Mass Street in Lawrence, KS with my girls! Family time + education = homeschooling. Totally awesome! The books are just about to be put away for the year!

  5. I love close encounters with gorillas!

This week I am saying hello to single-parenting while my husband takes his fifth graders to outdoor school near Mt. Rainier. Wish me luck! Hello to my niece turning 13. 6. Hello a silly question – who makes your husband shoes in these zoo pictures? My husband needs a pair and I’m looking for something like those!
