hello olympian

Last week David participated in the Special Olympics here in San Luis Obispo. He rocked the 25m assisted walk and was pretty exhausted by the time the Softball Throw came around. We had such a fun day and I have lots of pics to share with you! How about some hellos for a brand new week?

***Hello Monday is where I greet the new week with an open heart and a fresh perspective. It’s a new beginning–and there’s so much to be thankful for! Join me by leaving your own hellos in the comments section or linking up a hello monday post there!***

  1. Hes so cute! I love that he got the silver medal! My five month old son, kane, has cdls and hes so fragile, tiny but strong. I often think of your son and hope to God that one day he can be great in the sight of the Lord, just as David is. I love your blog and understand your hardships…

  2. It’s only a few hours away from the next Hello Monday post, but I couldn’t let this one go by without saying:
hello, happy tears and cheering on your wonderful David from up here in Canada! 🙂
Thank you for sharing your life with us. I found your site because of your jewelry, but ultimately, I am subscribed to the blog because of YOU! God bless you, Lisa! ♥

  3. David, you warm my heart everyday! Seeing that smile makes me so happy…..It really is the little things…

  4. The pic with David and daddy pulled on all the strings of my heart! I cannot thank you enough for the beauty you create around you, and for seeing life as beautiful.

I tend to be wired to see the glass half empty – even when I have no reason to. And coming to your blog always inspires me to choose beauty – optimism – being grateful for what I have rather than living life based on what I lack.

I comment too rarely on here, and I should let you know more often that your personality causes shockwaves of strength with ripples of encouragement to sweep over those who need to see life from a different perspective.

May God continue to bless you, sustain you and fulfill YOU!

    Love,
    Patty ([email protected])
