after christmas fun

we hosted 22 family members at our home this week. uncles, cousins, aunties, grandparents-it was such a sweet {and crazy} time. we loved having everyone together. i made a video of lots of little moments. mostly just hanging around, in jammies, playing and being together. i know the cousins are making memories they will carry forever and it makes my heart full.

GREAT video and songs that went along with it!

  5. My favorite part of this Christmas was seeing my sister in law, who my husband and his sister flew in secretly from Bethlehem! She is a teacher there and had been gone since August and wasn’t supposed to be back in town until June! It was so wonderful and special and just really made Christmas!!

  9. Love, love, love seeing all those sweet faces… Reminds me of MY babies… who are now 19 and 21.. One in college one in the marine corp…. Brings back every memory, every kiss, smile, tantrum, and all the countless I love yous…. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Lisa, your blog is one of my favorite daily reads. I love the look, the consistency and your attitude toward life. Thanks for sharing with all of us. My daughter gave me a very special gift this year… your camera necklace! I love it! Blessings to you and yours in 2011!

  11. First, I’d like to say that I liked the video. That will be a great one to look back on in the future. It’s nice to be able to see more personality than what you can capture in a picture.

Now, I have 2 favorite memories from the past week or so. 1) I went to my boyfriend’s family’s for Christmas. When I brought my daughter (unexpectedly), they slipped out to buy some gifts for her so that she wouldn’t feel left out. So sweet. 2) There was nothing better than watching the kids open their gifts and be completely happy with what they got.

    Happy New Year!!!

  12. that’s difficult, there are so many! my favs all involve some of my favorite people…time spent with my hubs planning our 2011 family goals, an evening at the coffee shop with my sister, going to see the narnia movie in our silly 3d glasses with my family, and then ending 2010 today having lunch with a friend of 15+ years! love being with those i love…happy 2011!
