hello painted built in {hello monday!}

We’ve been working on refreshing the family room–beginning with painting this built in shelving unit. It brightens the room and unifies the space. You can see before pics here {from three years ago}. Wow, looking at those pics, I can’t believe how much it’s changed. The before is cozy but the after feels fresh and open.

It’s Monday, how about some hellos?

  1. Lisa- this isn’t on netflix, but Amazon Prime. The Man in the High Castle is excellent! p.s. your room looks great!

  2. “Monarch of the Glen” is one of my favorite series – (a little older but great!) and I also love the “Rosemary and Thyme” mysteries. Lots of good gardening! Your home looks so fresh and lovely!

  3. I love your decor posts! They inspire me:) And a good show on Hulu is The last man on earth. We also like the flash and the grinder!

  4. i don’t know if this is on Netflix or not, but The Find is a cool series about a family who has so far traveled to India and Nicaragua, after living for several years in Uganda, to find stories of people making a difference where they are. it’s very well produced and yet very real. check it out!
