Steve and I spent a few days in the Dominican Republic last week. We had a some business meetings, visited an orphanage and toured the colonial district. It was an amazing time and I fell in love with the warm people, the texture of the city and of course the crystal clear ocean water. If you missed part one of our trip to the Dominican Republic, you can see it here.

We visited an orphanage that was beautiful and filled with amazing kids and staff. They even had a house for kids with special needs. It warmed my heart.

That’s the talented Maeve. She’s the designer behind Maevona–and she’s smart, kind and insightful. Oh and she’s scottish! So fun.

For being there such a short time, I feel like we saw a lot. And I can’t wait to go back!
